Both of them strike me as people who stayed behind in their colonies of birth during the decolonisation period, only Muldoon was in Kenya while Tembo was in India.
@@FINALFLASH1988 They would have probably been adversaries. Muldoon strikes me as a professional who only hunted maneaters, while Tembo was a troublemaker.
It's tragic that Michael Crichton died so young. I've read a lot of his books and he had such a wonderful imagination. If he were still around to write more JP books or at least help write the movie scripts, I think the Jurassic Park franchise as a whole would be so much better.
Honestly I got the impression he wrote the Lost World to be done with the topic. He made the books conclusion stating that the dinosaurs were going to die off and nothing could be done to fix that. Maybe he would have had a change of heart after Jurassic World but he really to different worlds and topics with each of his stories.
@@stevek4070 oh yeah I completely agree with you. I'm pretty sure I've heard before that he wrote the first one to be a stand alone book but after the success of the movie he was basically begged to write a sequel. Hence the "Just kidding, Ian Malcolm wasn't actually dead and because I blew up the first island there is magically a second one right next door" writing. I don't think he would willingly write a third book but I do feel like having his input on the movie scripts would have made them better.

Should Dominion be successful, the franchise will grow to be something big! There’s so many stories to tell with Dinosaurs now on the Mainland as well as multiple stories to tell between 2001-2014 too! Let’s get Jurassic World Dominion to the top! Edit: If Trevorrow does continue with this franchise, he’s Jurassic’s Kevin Feige without a doubt!
I made movies on my channel about the Jurassic series between 1998 and 2015. They are called Journey To Isla Sorna. The first is about hunting raptors after The Lost World and finding Dr. Wu’s experiments. The second is about how the Jurassic World dinosaurs were caught on Sorna, and the third about the Indominus research team.
I think a Site B movie could be interesting, seeing the Dinos surviving on their own or even a younger John Hammond building Jurassic Park and developing the dinosaurs 🦖🦕 🎥 Love the channel Klayton 👍
@@wickedhouston5538 Hollywood is so woke I watch nothing from 2010 onwards ….this film looks appalling as all the last 2 have ..I’ll remember JP and the lost world as they were up to 1997
Yeah, I'm very hesitant to be excited. Way too many beloved things have been drawn-out or rebooted and it hasn't always been for the best. Sometimes things need to be left alone. Time will tell with this particular saga/franchise. Here's hoping 🤞 Edit: a word
I would actually love a prequel to the first jurrasic park. Because the tech at the time was so faulty and yet so praised for its time. I would like small work hazards or workers trying to recapture dinosaurs. This would show how truly unprepared they were to an actual park opening. Maybe how Neddry was trying scummy things even before that put peoples lives in danger. I would love that. Or a protagonist that tries to shine light on the parks problems only to be ignored because the tech is so up to date and spared no expense. Maybe even a previous tour group that went missing without a trace or even covered up.That would be awsome!
I'd love this! Not to mention some insight on the forbidden activity going on in Isla Sorna as well. Patch up the things that were rushed over in JP3. Really give us some connection between the 3 original films.
yeah or a clean up show set in October 1994 henry wu leading clean up crew on a fleet of ingen helicopters headed towards a misty jurassic park a year after the first movie
I’d love to see a prequel. Cover some of the material from the book (and touched on in Fallen Kingdom) where John developed the cloning technology, the little elephant he cloned, seeking investors, and the beginning of construction on the park
Showing LOVE for my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHANNEL PERIOD Thank You for another great video once again Mr Klayton seriously man I'm a 37yr old kid I literally do remember being 9 years old and my mother taking me to the theater to watch Jurassic Park the first night it was out I will have the opportunity of taking my 9-year-old son to watch Jurassic world Dominion this is beyond exciting for me bub I'm beyond stoked for this!!!! Thank You again for your channel seriously how for the past several years now you've made videos that ties so many things together in this franchise it seriously has blown my mind and I am so appreciative of you point blank Klayton. Thank You and have a Blessed day y'all.
I'd love smaller scale spin offs. Such as a 3 or 4 part 1 of tv movie or movies that take place in between the film's. Such as a Biosyn movie with them rounding up dinosaurs and explaining what they've been up to in the shadows. Could be a perfect opportunity for localised Dino chaos that was "swepped under the rug" that the general public never got to see or hear about.
I don’t know if you know about this but there is a confirmed runtime for Jurassic World Dominion and it’s the longest film in the Jurassic Park/World Saga 2 Hours 26 Minutes and 57 Seconds I’m hyped for Dominion! #JurassicWorldDominion
@@onetoone4745 not gonna lie, I gave it to spino cuz I love that hybrid and it was a rookie trex I think looks like the baby from the second. But giga reminded me too much of indominus and rexy went through too much 😂 me and my bf were rooting for rexy and I think she learned from the other movies but hey she's got the other two now so maybe we'll see more! I love therinzino though and all the callbacks they did. I loved it 👻
I was worried at one point that after Dominion I would never get to see a new Jurassic movie, so when I found out they were going to keep making more I was super happy. One thing is that if Dominion doesn't include Site B very much, then I think they could definitely make an awesome live action series about something that happened there, such as what was up with the embryonic lab from JP3, or all that unexplained lore from JP3. I have heard people say Jurassic Park is going to be one of those franchises that comes out with a new movie every year just for money, but it is not, other than JP3 and maybe JW2, they took their time on quality movies. I hope Jurassic Park doesn't become a series that makes bad movies every year.
I’m sorry, what? Are you actually saying the two currently released Jurassic world movies are quality? They were both terrible. The first one was entertainingly bad at least, despite everything about the script being as dumb as anything seen in the lost world, but fallen kingdom was actually so stupid and poorly written that it easily takes the crown of worst Jurassic park series movie from JP3. Not even a contest, ringtone spino is infinitely more intelligent than anything in fallen kingdom.
@@nathanielweber7843 I can agree with Fallen Kingdom, but Jurassic World was good in my opinion, and without it the franchise could have been over forever after 2001. Also, just because I love the movies doesn't mean I don't agree there were some dumb things in them.
@@TJDragon097 likewise, just because I can point to errors and inconsistencies in the script doesn’t mean a movie can’t still be enjoyable. I enjoy Jurassic world, it’s beautifully shot and as long as I’m not focusing on some of the most blatant inconsistencies, it can be fun to watch. More so than JP3 for sure. That doesn’t make it a well written film, but it’s at least entertaining. Fallen kingdom though, I have no net positives to say about it.
@@nathanielweber7843 I respectfully disagree. Jurassic world is an inspiring film. It really brought the franchise back. Jurassic World was exactly what John Hammond wanted it to be. Jurassic World FK was definitely more stale though. The plot line was a little too similar to Jurassic World's, but it still brought content to the storyline nonetheless.
I feel like making prequels would be a nice direction to the franchise. In my personal opinion there is a lot of backstory that can be brought into the big screens. Or a t.v show showcasing these events.
If they want a new trilogy they can go both ways: - Jurassic Dream Trilogy: A story about how Jurassic Park came to be - Jurassic War Trilogy: Normally after dominion there will be groups that will use dino's for war stuff, so this is kinda realistic. But, I hope they go the Jurassic Dream route. Imagine a big story in the eighties. The rise of Hammond. The first ever egg hatching. The birth of Tim and Lex. Pilot experiments that go haywire. I just don't like "war...we have enough war in the world.
I want something close to the war one but instead it will be survival. Stores of people living alongside dinosaurs. Focus on Dino’s being animals and people being animals.
I don’t think Jurassic Dream is likely as it would be a grand departure from the action oriented direction of this franchise. Studios like known entities and what is known is Jurassic Park the action franchise.
I have been saying that they need do series going into the details of the events between the movies especially between JP and TLW. Also seeing the creation of both JP and JW would be awesome.
I’ll take a series over more movies. Movies have a standard where they all have to be a hit Everytime or there’s a loss of hype. I want to see a show set in the 90s with younger Hammond and his flea circus or a spin off based on the comics
If they continue the franchise, then I think it should focus on the aftermath of the events of Dominion and what happened to the dinosaurs after the movie.
That would be awful imo, JW trilogy has been getting out of hands and it’s getting terrible reviews because of it. I think a JP origins movie would be interesting as a reboot, like taking place in the 80’s without any of the futuristic woke stuff from the JW trilogy, more dino action, likable characters and tension building like in the original JP trilogy.
we need Claire and owne and macie and blur and beta back!!! and byosin cuz that's where alot of the dinosaurs are at oh and we know the jp raptors are in fact still alive we see them on the dinosaur tracker and we are still yet to see the most forgotten dinosaur in the franchise the spino I mean Alan owns him an apology for saying giga is the biggest carnivore
Was the Jurassic World Series really planned out in advance? It really felt like with these last 2 movies (Fallen Kingdom and Dominion) just came up with plot as they went on. So much for the plot felt like it was a revelation, like “oh ACTUALLY John Hammond had a business partner, oh ACTUALLY, the islands dormant volcano is ACTUALLY active and about to blow, oh ACTUALLY the clone girl was born to her mother and fixed her dna, oh actually…” so on and so forth. The later parts of the series just felt like retcon on retcon
I really enjoyed the movie, I've had to explain it to so many people. I almost cried when I saw the original team make a comeback. I absolutely loved that they went hybrid, hybrid, then aimed to produce more "authentic" dinosaur's with the DNA being more filled with dinosaur DNA rather then using modern reptile's.
They could make a Jurassic World movie about the San Diego park or a movie about that science lab from Jurassic Park 3. And what about the island park from Fallen Kingdom and the game? Make a movie based on that game!
I always thought it’d be cool if the Jurassic franchise somehow merged with a modernized Dinotopia series. With dinosaurs now on the mainland, I feel there’s a way to make that actually happen.
Just...please, no. Please, no more. No more Owen Grady. I cannot handle watching anymore cloning nonsense, weaponized raptors, convoluted stories that don't go anywhere, promises of dinosaurs on the main-land and then only show two or three scenes of that promise, or a single more minute of Owen Grady, or Chris Pratt's bad acting. If they're going to do it, and we all know they're going to do it because Hollywood has absolutely no integrity, and cannot commit to stopping a series when they say they will, then they really need to let Colin Trevarrow go, they need to pick ONE OR TWO plot ideas, and they need to properly go in on them. They also need to stop treating these movies like they're part of the MCU. Jurassic Park was CINEMA. It was ART. It was something we were in AWE of when it came out, and the ONLY reason we had those feelings was because Steven Spielberg knew better than to copy anyone's style or palette. If they could do it well, sure. But please, no more. This trilogy has been so wildly disrespectful towards the source material, I'll NEVER forget how I basically had to pick my jaw up off the floor when they tried that nonsense about Lockwood being a co-founder of Jurassic Park. Absolutely not, not according to Michael Crichton, nor the original series. If they can't do it right, they shouldn't do it at all.
Your videos are always in my recommendeds but never watched them. That has changed. You earned a sub with excellent editing, tone, and information on this series. Now to go back and binge your stuff!
I think if you're Universal and you want to do right by the story [which they definitely should want], you have a great flashback trilogy right in front of you that would not only be compelling as stories in the universe, but also fill in gaps in their story sequence [pun intended] *Kinda Spoilers*? 1. We know that Biosyn has that barbasol shaving cream can. How did they get it? What's the story there? We've always wanted to know what happened to that can [JP The Game aside]. Did they realize Nedry wasn't coming and send in a backup team they had on standby or something? Did they have a tracker on it and send in a squad of people that have to retrieve it, and now they're on Nublar where the dinos are free and they have to get the can and get out? That's a pretty interesting story to me. Way better and more plot driven than just getting stranded on an island again. That could be a movie. 2. What really happened at Sorna leading up to the evacuation? We know that storm wiped it out. But were there other problems that the people working for InGen faced? Were the raptors an issue at the village already, and coinciding with the storm it wrecked what they were trying to do there? What were the issues and events going on on Isla Sorna that we don't know about. Including any secretive, mysterious backstory that could be added leading up to that evacuation as a climax? That could be a movie. 3. What was it like for Masrani/InGen to reclaim Nublar and round up all the animals they did on both islands? What compelling stories and situations could be played out from that that we don't know? How hard was it to do so? I think it could be interesting to show ACU teams tracking down Dinosaurs on Nublar AND Sorna [could even bring back the Spino in that sense], and flesh out how they could be the hunters that are also fighting to survive on the islands. That could be a movie. It could even be an anthology type series too. And that's just stuff I thought up that you yourself have discussed plenty. And I'm no Hollywood writer lol there's so much more they could attempt to fill up the JP legacy in the way Disney does with Star Wars and Marvel, going back in time to add stories and origins like Obi-Wan or Black Widow. Who knows. I just think if they wanted to, they could add a ton of cool stuff to this franchise without having to make it up on the fly. It's already in the background of the story they have.
So long as it isn’t milked, similar with other extended IPs, I think this could be what the franchise needs to have life birthed back into it following fallen kingdom. Given that this has now brought the story’s setting to real world locations, there’s a much more vast plane for possibilities of storytelling in the Jurassic universe now, and especially since as it’s continuing it doesn’t necessarily mean that Nublar or Sorna will never return for future endeavours. What I mainly hope is that they work out how to keep the series alive without reusing the hybrid trope, as (albeit a really cool gimmick) it was milked dry through the reuse in games and Camp Cretaceous, not to mention with 2 films in a row having a hybrid antagonist creature. Overall I think this is really good news, but this needs to mean that the IP will be continuing with proper care, as if otherwise I think it’s be better to cut it off than drag it through the dirt.
I dont like the term milked personally. I want MORE of my favorite stuff. I get some people can be happy just with what they get but personally give me this shit till I die.
Some reviewers love being negative, but with this movie all of my favourite reviewers seem to agree that this is not a good movie. The best part of it is in the end where they do what they did in the first part of Jurassic World: copy Jurassic Park. The whole concept of the World-trilogy was bad: the need for a mutation that always needs to be a crazy T-rex-raptor-thing, the need for using dinosaurs as weapons, the total lack of respect and fear for these animals (they are treated like they are normal mammals).
I would absolutely LOVE to see a TV Show on the Origin stories of the Characters! Showing a young Hammond, how he founded InGen and why he built the park. Right up to just before the events of the original movie. I just don't think this could be as effectively done as a movie. Also having a Mini-Series for the Origin stories of the secondary characters! We know Henry Wu was very young when Hammond recruited him, We know that Muldoon and Tembo were Game hunters in Africa, That Ray Arnold was an Engineer, Eddie Carr was a Technician and Sarah Harding was an animal behaviorist. But in movie canon we don't know much more than that! How/Why did they decide to come on board with Hammond? As for a Movie, I could see one done on the backstory of Simon Masrani, His rise to success and the purchase of InGen. The eventual creation and success of Jurassic world! I would LOVE to see the success story of Jurassic World and a fully functioning dinosaur theme park!
After watching Dominion. I'm certain its setting us up for an original 1960 lost worlds movie. Dinos in a lost land locked valley and dominion even shows us for the first time the dino on the cover for the 1960 movie.
I am absolutely all for more movies. That being said I PRAY the film makers do more than just make a film to bank on nostalgia. I hope they make GENUINELY good movies to expand the Jurassic franchise.
I honestly want the series to restart and forget that the World series even happened. There's quite a lot they could do with the series that revolve around the original trilogy, such as a film on the dinosaurs terrorizing the Costa Rican mainland right around the first film (based on the book) or a film based around the US military's involvement after the 3rd film to contain the dinosaur infestation/biohazards, etc Lastly, they could go with a wild card by having a competing company create their own cloning technology for different prehistoric animals, such as ice age era creatures or Permian with giant insects or mammoths playing a part
I think what should come after dominion is a sequel series. What this series called? It called Jurassic hunter. Then what the series plot? basically a survival story in the new lands of saurica (what saurica: after the event’s of dominion north and South America have become a continents overpopulated by dinosaurs) which sounds like some old dinosaurs story or movie but the only difference is that all the dinosaurs have evolved into new species. Leave you question in the reply if you find it interesting or not
There is a lot of meat in the SPOILER Underground Dino Trafficking Ring. I could use a whole series on Barry working with the CIA, with Vivian and Lowery. That is honestly awesome. Or maybe A Meg style movie of trying to keep the Mosasaurus from ruining the Ocean ecosystem. Or you could pull something from the Lost World storyboards, and have a story of hang-gliders vs pterosaurs. There is too much good from the dinos on the mainland idea for it to go to waste.
Don't think the mosasaurus getting its own movie is necessary but I would love a scene similar to the one at the start of dominion but instead of a oil rig it's like a single fishing boat just so you can really get a grasp on how big it is compared to a normal person
The thing I would most love to see is a Jurassic World: Dominion director's cut. The crew shot 6-7 hours of footage, and only 2:27 of it is being used (excuse the timestamp). If they do go down the line of a directors cut, I would personally like it to be 3-4 hours. In a director's cut, quality won't mean much to me, it is just the dinosaur scenes. But hey, that's just my opinion.
Either more movies or more series would work just fine. However there is something to consider nothing says these new things will be set after Dominion or even in the same timeline as the JP story. Some could be set before Dominion to explain what Biosyn has been up too and why they may or may not have either changed their name or bought out another company (that being Manta-Corp). Nobody is saying these new Dino movies will be set in the same timeline as the current ones either so they could go ahead and make all kinds of new movies and shows.
I don't know which one to choose. I just hope whatever they do next, they'll handle it and get it right. Nice to hear from you again, my man. Can't wait to see Jurassic World: Dominion!!
There could easily be a new trilogy that’s about how humans and animals and the food chain adapts to dinosaurs living with them again. And it being more focused on sea life with sea districts researching them going on dangerous missions and such. And of course what role blue, beta and maisie will play in it
No television series! Some of us don't even watch TV anymore. And no more hybrid dinosaurs! Unless you want to call it a Prius-Saurus! You now have all the dinosaurs gathered in the mountains of Italy, right? How about someone buys the mountains and tries to build another Jurassic Park or Jurassic World. There are plenty of things that could go wrong with that. They have to keep going, but they need to come up with more believable scripts, perhaps a bit more cerebral, and a dash fewer jump scares. But I love all six movies, and eagerly await the next trilogy. And the next...
ive said this here many times, but a TV series set as a prequel would be fantastic, focus on John Hammond and his creation of the original park all the way up to the point the first movie starts. the Tresspasser audio logs really gives us some small light into those days of creation, and I'm sure a very good very jurassic park feeling drama could be made as a tv series focused on that few decades it took to create the park
Have Claire be in shoe commercials in universe. "I was able to run away from a T-Rex in these heels without them breaking" is a very big testament to the sturdiness of those heels.
Had real first ruff year in college and got to say thanks cause these Jurassic videos are very nostalgic and gave me something to watch when going through shit
I agree that if there is more movies after Dominion, they should be in between of the movies, doing what Camp cretaceous is doing, that is expanding the established canon as well as explaining some questions that past movies established in the fan base
I love dinosaurs. My favorite movies growing up was the original Jurassic park even tho it used to scare me in some parts. With that said, a dinosaur TV show would be super cool but I also think they can expand the Jurassic universe and do some kind of TV show with Human cloning. They introduced to the franchise in Fallen Kingdom and i think they should expand it too
I feel that dominon sure be the end of the Jurassic series. If they keep making more sequels, it's going to feel like the terminator, predator, and alien franchise just run down to the ground. I love the Jurassic Franchise but sometimes you know when enough is enough.
Thats honestly how I feel, I love all of the JP movies and can not wait for Dominion, but I feel like they should realize when enough is enough and let Dominion be the closing chapter.
I’m with you, Jurassic Park & Lost World have always been the best ones in my opinion. They were very on brand and kept the feel of the franchise intact.
I always thought it would be cool to see a story set after JP1 where Biosyn send a team in to recover the dino DNA. Exploring the old facility, looking for Dennis Nedry and the can. Would be great way to bring back the dinosaurs and old sets.
This was literally what was supposed to be "The Lost World" as in, the first sequel in the franchise was meant to be exactly what you just mentioned. Steven mentioned in an interview yearrrrs ago, that he filmed the shaving cream-can so attentively with a purpose (like any single scene in a Spielberg movie) was due to the fact that he was already planning the sequel which was thw retrieval of that can and involve Biosyn more eventually.
A spin-off after dominion about a ranch or something that has to deal with dinosaur pochers and stuff would be really cool. Like, small post dominion side stories to see how the humans are adapting
An R-rated Jurassic Park film that is heavily based Crichton's first book would be very cool in my opinion. The title could be "Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park" or something like that
@@delmaplain6823 OK yes iwatched it all so far waiting for next season but I meant to say real life. Terranova was good but got canceled after first season I wanna see a real life jurassic world/park series
I'd like to see them go back in time to when the shaving cream canister was retrieved. It would be cool to see the island a year or two after the original.
I honestly just really don’t get that if they have enough inspiration and money to make another movie, how come they couldn’t make another season of camp Cretaceous based on dominion. Like the camp Cretaceous series was based on what happened each movie but from a different point of view so it would make sense but also make lots of fans happy
JP is definitely more than just a dinosaur movie, there is so much story left in the novels to go of as well, kind of what Jurassic world has been doing already. I think they should make a R rated adult show in the future.
I agree, if they could make any direction of missing plot questions. Or renewed/past scenarios into a series. I feel like the change of entertainment from the current market. The best bet would be to make a show out of it. And release episodes with sheer anticipation, leaving you hanging with excitement for the next week's episode!
Personally, I love Jurassic Park. It's my favorite franchises. But, even as a major fan, I do believe that Dominion should probably be the Grand Finale. I hope Dominion gives us good closure to the series, and doesn't tease another three movies in 10 years. Though, if they do, I'll definitely be there.
IDK if this franchise really needs to continue but if it were to continue, Bryce Dallas Howard is the only choice to take it into the future. She is a great director and, from what I can tell, loves the franchise and her character and would not half-ass anything related to it.
they're DEFINITELY gonna continue the franchise. whether it'll be Jurassic (Enter New Word Here) or something else but dino-centric and big budget, it's something that both kids and adults enjoy. though I do deeply hope for an R rated horror-esque big budget installment
honestly (as much of a fan that I am) I hope that there are NO more sequels after dominion. film franchises that go beyond there initial planned number of films typically loose quality over time. Ice Age, Star Wars, the Showa Godzilla movies, they all start off relatively good but fall into mediocrity after a while.
if they make them, you can just not watch them which is the next best thing to them not being made and that way the rest of us can continue to enjoy them.
So true. This franchise is ready to get ruined and I'm already seeing its downfall with things like the fourth season of Camp Cretaceous and Fallen Kingdom.
Great stuff here! Love your explorations and deep dives and your content all around. After seeing Dominion- I had gotten into a lengthy discussion about this same topic with a good friend of mine. The speculations are numerous! An idea I have put some thought into since Fallen Kingdom came out, and what I think could be a really engaging story to tell in this universe: A film or even a mini-series that focuses on characters and events that take place in the time leading up to and during the downfall Isla Sorna- SITE B. I could go way in depth with all kinds of characters and plot elements that I’ve brainstormed lol. If it were a darker, grittier and more character-driven story, but also delivered on the good old dinosaur and human chaos- I would 100% watch that Lol. My buddy and I both thought it was an interesting idea and it could be a neat point in time to explore further! It could also bring a lot of new understanding to the films as a whole- primarily the first three. I don’t comment on anything much at all, but hell, I couldn’t hold this one in anymore haha 🤙🏻🦖🦕
I honestly feel it’s better to end things completely after Dominion. But if they continue on with Jurassic Park, yeah, they need to continue the way Jurassic World saga was done. Klayton, have you acquired the Jurassic Visual History books yet? They have actually answered some questions I have had for a while. You should if you haven’t yet. After you mentioned them a while back, I acquired the first one just recently.
@@KlaytonFioriti Indeed it was. But as you said in this video, I really like how they through the Jurassic World saga through compared to the Park saga. Also I didn’t know there was a second script where Muldoon was scripted to die. I do believe Spielberg wanted his death to maximize the impact of the Raptors.
I'm an amateur writer and I'm writing a jurassic Park story set in between JP3 and JW. That deals with what happened with isla nublar, the masrani takeover with ingen, what biosyn was planning during this time also with a familiar but new story thrown in the mix.
I Actually written a script that serve as a short film, but it also could be serve as a t.v pilot, not sure, when I could say what it is, but when the movie is closer to released, we'll see what's up
I think that series would be best after Dominion, like the ones you mentioned and also something more focused on Wu for example, there is so much that can be done with him alone, in any direction: Sci-Fi, Terror, Suspense, emotional drama, mystery... There's a lot that can be done in between movies, Camp Cretaceous is a prime example of something that can work really well when we see "what happening on the other side of the fence". I think we would need a break from movies and more focus on series, bring Brice for the series, after a few years (no to many thought) let's go back to the big screen. Hopefully there is a big focus on the movie itself and not products like toys, it's dangerous to have too many mascots
There should be a series set during the Mesozoic era on Netflix. Would love to see prehistoric Rexy hatching from an egg up until adulthood where she gets killed by the Giga.
maybe the fact that site c is still an unknown location can be a good theme for continuing the story due to the fact that we know close to nothing on the site and what the scientists where up to on that island so who know a story about scientists trying to survive a troodon escape on their secret facility where no one knows about their trouble could be a good scenario
I just hope hollywood doesn't try to turn any more Jurassic Park/World movies into comedies. I'm not saying Jurassic World 1 &2 were bad movies, but to me, it feels like there is just WAY too much humor in these movies which I think would be awesome if they played out more like the books. Because usually, when somebody is having their intestines eaten out by a veloceraptor, I think that adding a joke right after that is kinda in bad taste.
I actually want a tv series, they just have more time to develop characters, and explore plotlines. I really want a Jurassic show that uses the same formula as the marvel shows releasing like Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and Loki where there are only around six episodes but they're all an hour long. And with all the intense amount of time periods a new Jurassic project could take place in like during the construction of the original Jurassic park, before the breakout in the original Jurassic World, or the countless plotlines introduced in Fallen Kingdom and Dominion with dinosaurs throughout the world. So, no matter what, I just really want a good live action Jurassic show. I have heard rumors of a tv show following Hammond and the construction of Jurassic Park, so something like that I think could be ground breaking and a lot of fun for the Jurassic series.
A prequel show following the construction of the original Jurassic Park would be a dream come true for me. Could really delve into Muldoon, Hammond and Biosyn's past attempts to infiltrate etc. Soooo much potential there.
I kinda don’t want more movies after dominion. I would really love live action shows or a prequel movie for something really important in this franchise. I’m just skeptical about a sequel movie tis all.
Anyone who thinks a studio would willingly retire a hugely profitable franchise simply because they’ve run out of good ideas or natural ways to progress the story is, well, incorrect. Maybe they’ll do a Hellraiser or Friday 13th and have a cryogenically frozen pack of Raptors doing their thing on a space station.
Personally I would prefer if Dominion was the end. It would be much more impactful to know that this is the final ride. I think if they keep making movies on end the franchise will risk getting watered-down. If anything, I think they should make a standalone prequel film about the DNA extraction from the mosquito in amber and the creation of the first batch of dinosaurs. That would be a film worth making.
Yes, a movie about how releasing the dinosaurs was a massive mistake, how there's a major ecological catastrophe in the area these dinos are loose in, which is threatening many species with local extinction because they can't compete with these dinosaurs. Efforts to capture and remove are failures, pushing the humans into outright exterminating the dinosaurs they created in order to save the local ecosystems would make a very good ending to the movie series.
I want them to keep going. Maybe make a tv series or something. Add Dino’s as animal and people as animals. Focus on humans having to figure out how to deal with dinosaurs and each other.

Well said.
He'll be better than Feige.

I don’t think those films were money grabs. I think they genuinely added to the franchise lore.
If they want a new trilogy they can go both ways:
- Jurassic Dream Trilogy: A story about how Jurassic Park came to be
- Jurassic War Trilogy: Normally after dominion there will be groups that will use dino's for war stuff, so this is kinda realistic.
Jurassic Planet maybe?
Have you read the book Primitive War? It’s kinda like that and it’s a really entertaining story.
@@suspiciouslookingbanana6017 that would be sick!
In Dominion I wanted to see the Trex at the drive in movie theater scene! But didn't see it at all. What's up with that
I'd love a prequel on Site B for a few seasons personally, getting it up and running and transition to Jurassic Park
I’ll take a series over more movies. Movies have a standard where they all have to be a hit Everytime or there’s a loss of hype. I want to see a show set in the 90s with younger Hammond and his flea circus or a spin off based on the comics
Thats more expensive my guy not happening
If they continue the franchise, then I think it should focus on the aftermath of the events of Dominion and what happened to the dinosaurs after the movie.
I feel like they might expand more on the black market dealers creating more dinos or something like they there a new villain for the film
@@kurumilover6999 I would love to see more of that
That would be awful imo, JW trilogy has been getting out of hands and it’s getting terrible reviews because of it. I think a JP origins movie would be interesting as a reboot, like taking place in the 80’s without any of the futuristic woke stuff from the JW trilogy, more dino action, likable characters and tension building like in the original JP trilogy.
@@Oklm23 bruh what woke action? More than two female characters in the movie?

After watching Dominion, I’m honestly scratching my head as to how this trilogy was at all planned out.
Your videos are always in my recommendeds but never watched them. That has changed. You earned a sub with excellent editing, tone, and information on this series. Now to go back and binge your stuff!
I think if you're Universal and you want to do right by the story [which they definitely should want], you have a great flashback trilogy right in front of you that would not only be compelling as stories in the universe, but also fill in gaps in their story sequence [pun intended]
*Kinda Spoilers*?
This last movie has been the second best movie for this franchise, could never beat the first but it was awesome.

Great video... i like the fact that you weren't poisonous on it. All reviews on Dominion are by people who think they're cool being negative.
Agreed. Also, what you just described about some of these other reviewers immediately made me think of Michael Crichton.
Great graphics for this video. Loved the pause/zoom technique.
I would like to see a hard reboot HBO Max series that sticks extremely close to Crichton's original novel
I would like to see both of Crichton’s novels portrayed on the new series if possible.
There's quite a lot they could do with the series that revolve around the original trilogy, such as a film on the dinosaurs terrorizing the Costa Rican mainland right around the first film (based on the book) or a film based around the US military's involvement after the 3rd film to contain the dinosaur infestation/biohazards, etc
Lastly, they could go with a wild card by having a competing company create their own cloning technology for different prehistoric animals, such as ice age era creatures or Permian with giant insects or mammoths playing a part
I would love if Sam Neil narrated a dino documentary in character as Allan Grant. It would be like an in-universe documentary.
Agreed. Sam Neill has done some narrating work anyway so he’d do good.
Leave you question in the reply if you find it interesting or not
I'd love to see a Jurassic Park prequel, that explores all the stuff from the book about how Hammond conceived the idea, funded it, achieved it etc.
There is a lot of meat in the SPOILER
Underground Dino Trafficking Ring.
A bit off topic, but the visuals are amazing in this video!

There could easily be a new trilogy that’s about how humans and animals and the food chain adapts to dinosaurs living with them again. And it being more focused on sea life with sea districts researching them going on dangerous missions and such. And of course what role blue, beta and maisie will play in it
I got a feeling these new movies are gonna have something to do with Camp cretacious.
I had the idea for a short film where a US or Russian Submarine has do fight the mosasouras or a megladon
Maybe they could make The Evolution of Claire into a movie 🤷♀️ I'd also be very happy with another Jurassic Park related book.
Have Claire be in shoe commercials in universe. "I was able to run away from a T-Rex in these heels without them breaking" is a very big testament to the sturdiness of those heels.

I love dinosaurs. My favorite movies growing up was the original Jurassic park even tho it used to scare me in some parts. I feel that dominon sure be the end of the Jurassic series. If they keep making more sequels, it's going to feel like the terminator, predator, and alien franchise just run down to the ground. I love the Jurassic Franchise but sometimes you know when enough is enough.

I honestly just really don’t get that if they have enough inspiration and money to make another movie, how come they couldn’t make another season of camp Cretaceous based on dominion.
Exactly!!!!!!
Welp...
IDK if this franchise really needs to continue but if it were to continue, Bryce Dallas Howard is the only choice to take it into the future. She is a great director and, from what I can tell, loves the franchise and her character and would not half-ass anything related to it.
GTFO with that shit
Dominion was crap 🤣 tried making Jurrasic Park into Fast & Furious
they're DEFINITELY gonna continue the franchise. whether it'll be Jurassic (Enter New Word Here) or something else but dino-centric and big budget, it's something that both kids and adults enjoy. though I do deeply hope for an R rated horror-esque big budget installment
honestly (as much of a fan that I am) I hope that there are NO more sequels after dominion. film franchises that go beyond there initial planned number of films typically loose quality over time.
@@MephProduction say what you want but the fact is this franchise is being hella milked
While I agree with you here, there were always plans to make Star Wars 1-9. The last 3 just fell into the wrong hands.
@@albertdb3 And you don't think the same will happen to JP?
I don’t comment on anything much at all, but hell, I couldn’t hold this one in anymore haha
🤙🏻🦖🦕
I honestly feel it’s better to end things completely after Dominion. But if they continue on with Jurassic Park, yeah, they need to continue the way Jurassic World saga was done.
Klayton, have you acquired the Jurassic Visual History books yet? They have actually answered some questions I have had for a while. You should if you haven’t yet. After you mentioned them a while back, I acquired the first one just recently.
I have the Jurassic Park book. I think the section on JP3 is the most interesting so far
We a Jurassic World live action series in the future i hope 🤞🏾
keep up your good work! always love to see your new videos and i totally agree about the television series. This would be awesome
Imagine Owen Grady & Claire Dearing returning as legacy characters in Jurassic Park 9
They should do a mini series on how biosyn found the barbesol can
What was I selected for?
Oh okay
On Instagram or what?
Okay cool
I downloaded it but it won't let me send messages
There should be a series set during the Mesozoic era on Netflix. Would love to see prehistoric Rexy hatching from an egg up until adulthood where she gets killed by the Giga.
maybe the fact that site c is still an unknown location can be a good theme for continuing the story due to the fact that we know close to nothing on the site and what the scientists where up to on that island
so who know a story about scientists trying to survive a troodon escape on their secret facility where no one knows about their trouble could be a good scenario
I personally hope that the Giga does not die and helps set up the plot for the next trilogy.
A Tv Show of Jurassic World would make it brilliant and to show how the staff get on with the dinosaurs too
What SHOULD be next?
Season-long, dark, hard R, horror focused adaptation of the original novel, set in the 80s.
Back to the roots, you could say
😎👍
For sure!
I think they can drag the episodes out to like 10 or 12. Just as long as they're careful about it without adding too much uninteresting subplot.
Wouldn’t work
A prequel show following the construction of the original Jurassic Park would be a dream come true for me.
Couldn’t agree more
@@islasornacommunications9179 thank you good sir
@@RedneckRapture
Na most animals will be fine.
I want them to keep going. Maybe make a tv series or something. Add Dino’s as animal and people as animals. Focus on humans having to figure out how to deal with dinosaurs and each other.
@@magnarcreed3801 A hunting rifle will deal with most dinosaurs. A .50 or better will deal with the larger ones.
@@magnarcreed3801 Psh, no. The current herbivore population has no defense against the carnivorous dinos we see in the movies. They also cannot compete against the herbivores, who are largely immune to attack by mammalian carnivores due to their size and capabilities. This girl literally released an entire series of invasive species the local wildlife has no chance against.
