This video alone is evidence that Pete Trewavas doesnt hear nearly the amount of recognition he deserves for his bass playing. That bassline is SO FUCKING GOOD
The bridge starting at 3:20 gives me goosebumps every time. It was Hoggarth's singing on this and King of Sunset Town that won me over when he first joined the band. Just listen to how the drums punctuate the syllables, and the last note, sustained and then with the last step up just a sixteenth note before Rothery's guitar chord... Goosebumps, I tell you. Thanks again!
Wow. What an impressive song. Hogarth is quite impressive as well. I'm sold on Hogarth being an equal to Fish when it comes to Marillion's greatness. I'm guessing the song is about an inmate at the Holloway Womens Penitentiary?
I'm fairly new to these guys. FM radio in America kind of abandoned the British prog rock scene after the '80's which is a shame. They sound very good.
If you live in Southern California, we have a station called 95.5 KLOS. They played Kayleigh on something called Rock & Roll A To Z. They also had Nighttime Nuggets hosted by Bob Coburn. He played Easter on his show.
Hogarths live vocals are awesome. A really underated singer.
🎶Cada canción de Marillion tiene su magia que aún me emociona enormemente, son Únicos y Maravillosos 🎵💙🎶💙
He is so so much under rated . His lines are awesome. Unreal bass player. True musical talent
I just love Petes bass playing on this...

I was there. About six feet from the stage. Proud to be able to say that I am.

One of my favorite Marillion track, and beautifully performed here.

Dubious clothes and hair style - love the music though !
Nice to see Rothery that slim, is he sick nowadays?
"This is Holloway Girl..." *polite cheers* H is great but this is the weakest track on the album.
