      +Darcy Cocom I have felt the same way. A friend of mine and I have started our own hairbow business and these bows have been the toughest challenge for me to make. Every other video I have seen has not helped at all. I just get frustrated and start another type of bow. +Jay Dee is a life savor.

    I use my little plastic scraper for cleaning skillets, pots, to scrape glue, other gunk off my glue guns, counters, crafting surfaces, then use Fantastic with bleach to make it look like new. If you have stubborn stains or sticky residue, try Goof-Off or Goo-Be-Gone, type oil based cleaner and spot clean, and then Magic Eraser to get any stains still noticeable. Acetone is also a great thing to pick up at hardware store for removing gunk, paint, sticky residue, etc. from many surfaces, but as always, use cotton swab and test small surfaces first which are inconspicuous, and follow all product directions to prevent any harm to yourself, lungs, skin, eyes, or surface, when any chemical cleaners are used. Thanks for your wonderful tutorial. God bless!

      Jay Dee A little bit of Everything Are you in TN? WV, KY? NC? I'm trying to figure it out by your accent, but curious. Also, do you sell your products on Etsy or anywhere? Also, just a suggestion, but I love it when tutorials add measurements, supplies, etc. to description box. This one it wasn't really necessary, pretty self-explanatory, but it is very helpful and a lot don't provide that info. I always look for and subscribe to those crafters who provide good info and links to websites they suggest during their videos. Good presentation, other than your hands/bow moving out of view for a bit. That's understandable when you're trying to do it all by yourself, though. I laughed at your trying to hang onto your bow and get another thin ribbon untaped and cut to finish. I'd have let go of the bow, because I'd have felt like an idiot, wasting time, and edited. But that's me. I often get ahead of myself, end up taking longer because I am trying to do something one handed, or with my toes or mouth! haha! You got it quicker than I thought you would, though. So no need to edit, but I'd have been flustered, started over.

    • @houseofbows
      @houseofbows  6 років тому

      myohmy451 i am just south of there on the east coast. I will keep the description box idea in mind in the future. I don't have any fancy tripod or editing software so I do what I can lol. I used to sell my things on Facebook but haven't in years now. It was stressful. I'd rather teach people to do it so they will be happy it's made how they want it.
