I've been making bows for years. I have made thousands of these, true story. Your technique is the absolute best I have ever seen. I am also very impressed with the way you narrated so articulately all the way through. Perfect explanation on every point. You are in your element. You are a natural born teacher that I am so happy I stumbled upon. I wish I had seen this technique 15 years ago, it would have saved a lot of burned fingers. Thank you for teaching this reluctant middle age bow maker new tricks.
I just subscribed to your channel today and I'm amazed on how simple and to the point your explanations are. Hope my bows turn out to be as beautiful as yours!
Hi Liz! You can still heat seal the white ribbon. However, if you are worried about leaving a dark line....we do have a product called "Fray Check" that can be used on the ends of the ribbon. Here is the link: www.theribbonretreat.com/Products/fray-check.aspx Have a wonderful day!
Hi Leslie! You can actual line the clips with 3/8" grosgrain ribbon. It is very easy. Here is a video to show you how to do that. ua-cam.com/video/isGIBt2vW8I/v-deo.html Have a great day!
Hi Chitr! In the description under the video, you will see the links to the materials needed to make this bow. You can also go to www.theribbonretreat.com. Have a wonderful day!
Hi Destini! You can definitely try using a glue gun. Using a needle and thread just makes it a bit "sturdier", and with a needle and thread, you can make the center of the bow a bit "tighter". Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for the excellent tutorial

does anyone have tips on heat sealing the "v" cut? i have the hardest time with it! i always mess up the center of it
huskypaws I keep it folded and seal it but make sure they don't melt together
I've heard clear nail polish works well

Couldn't you just use a glue gun instead of thread a d needle?
