Depends on the build, you could use Midas and stack the burn with the right relic and heavy spell. That almost breaks the game spamming reload when overheating Where richochet you could build into lighting/fire so many options. The ammo I think they tried to match the total damage out put per ammo amount as richochet is almost double the damage. I believe all guns are pretty balanced. They all shine with supporting builds.
i imagine utilizing soul sigil stun mechanic for double damage would swing the scale a lot for these guns vs bosses. they kinda excell at shooting soul sigils
Im currently in love with Ricochet over a Midas. Because well Midas has one great downfall a that is its heating mechanics, because you can never go full auto with that gun. There is another reason Ricochet has higher range than Midas and well question of Ammo. Ricochet has not such a high fire rate as midas. So thats why there is little bit less ammo. Im using richochet in combination with close range weapon and it allows me to kill or seriously injure few enemies before they get to close to finish them with shotgun or cricket. There is one thing about the Richochet that i hate. It has no boss killing qualities. The damage against the bosses and or armored enemies is rather low. If you want to use Ricochet against the bosses be prepared for some serious kiting and hiding. Midas is maybe better in this department but well as ive said you cannot go full auto with midas. (Btw. cricket has less ammo than this if you use it properly. Its always about the fire rate.
@@Nenril_plays first off, I like your point of view. You made some good points and that is one thing I love about this game. Everything is super balanced. I personally don't like the autorifles that much, but that may just be that my play style doesn't suit them. Thanks for the comment!
@@lunchwithlegion9431 I dont like them that much as well. I was more revolver/sniper rifle at the begining, but as I progres the game sniper rifles starts to get obsolete especialy in the closed enviroment of the Irongate Castle. But as you say whaterver suit the player most.

@@damechanik218 good points and I do agree with the balancing. Maybe i just don't vibe with the autos but I can see them doing well, especially midas

@@freeman2582 you are right. But I feel that for bosses you can't beat the revolvers or rifles. Or at least it wouldn't be easy
