English version taken from the album with the same title, the Swedish version (and even one in Norwegian) released as a single only. Written by Anders Glenmark & Thomas H. Minor/Bruno Glenmark. In 1978 Ann-Louise made a slight turn musically and changed to a bit more towards country music, a very successful move as her first album in English sold 150,000 copies in Sweden only and remains to date her biggest commercial success. “Låt Inte Din Skugga Stanna Här” spent a maximum of 11 weeks on the radio chart Svensktoppen, 9 weeks in the top spot. Perhaps this was the reason why CBS decided to aim for the Spanish and Latin market. This single was released both in Spain and in Bolivia.
Swedish singer Ann-Louise Hanson started her career in 1961 and has since then made more than 600 recordings, competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 14 times and had 50 songs on the Swedish radio chart Svensktoppen. One of Sweden's most beloved artists and still active to this day. During the 60s and 70s she also had a very successful recording career in Germany.
