Vila de Sintra

Sintra é uma vila portuguesa no distrito e área metropolitana de Lisboa, integrando a parte norte da Grande Lisboa.
É uma vila turística situada no sopé da serra de Sintra. Durante muito tempo foi um santuário real, e no seu terreno arborizado existem muitas quintas e casas apalaçadas. O Palácio Nacional de Sintra, de estilo mourisco e manuelino, distingue-se pelas duas deslumbrantes chaminés idênticas e pelos elaborados azulejos. O Palácio Nacional da Pena do século XIX, no topo da colina, é conhecido pelo design extravagante e pelas vistas deslumbrantes.
A Vila de Sintra é notável pela enorme presença de uma arquitetura romântica, resultando na sua classificação enquanto Paisagem Cultural de Sintra, Património Mundial da UNESCO.
Sintra is a Portuguese village in the district and metropolitan area of Lisbon, integrating the northern part of Greater Lisbon.
It is a tourist village located at the foot of the Sintra mountain range. For a long time it was a royal sanctuary, and on its wooded grounds there are many farms and palatial houses. The National Palace of Sintra, of Moorish and Manueline style, is distinguished by the two stunning identical chimneys and the elaborate tiles. The nineteenth-century Pena National Palace at the top of the hill is known for its extravagant design and stunning views.
The village of Sintra is notable for the huge presence of a romantic architecture, resulting in its classification as a Cultural Landscape of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
