omg i miss kyoto so much... i didnt get to go kyoto this year but last year i went to kyoto alone and it was so much chill vibe compare to tokyo, downside its just super crowded in touristy area with tourist lol but the town is so peaceful and romantic

Maybe then the crowds would be a lot less. We went to Japan last Year and we visited e.g. fushimi Inari at around 8 in the morning and it was totally fine. Hello Rion, I was there just last week! It was beautiful but crowded as expected. Biggest challenge traveling in Kyoto is the buses and public transportation. Not sure why you board the bus at the rear door this makes it challenging to get off at the front door when buses are always so packed. I also tried that same famous oyako don restaurant but the entrance is actually at the side, not on the front, so maybe you missed it.
Folks, quick comment from a american living in Okinawa. My family recommends Ootoya restaurant. Food is very good with good prices. Food options include grilled chicken and fish choices. Most options 1100 yen or cheaper. Jolly Pasta is also good for spagetti and pasta and they also have pizza. Happy holidays to everyone!

If you do, maybe you can take us to places which are interesting and probably only accessible by private vehicle. Or head to other cities which are less traveled by most tourist, this would keep the content fresh. Just a suggestion.

Hi Rion, some small suggestions, if you can, try and cut down on your use of the phrase “seems like” . Maybe spend more time showing food/meals you actually order instead of showing your window shopping of the menus of outside restaurants. Since you enjoy showing so much of train stations in every video , maybe consider having a dedicated separate channel just for walking around train stations 🚊

Rion, I have been to kiyomizudera early in the morning. 6am to be exact. It’s never empty, it’s always crowded.. that’s Kyoto haha
