I bought this Eton Elite Executive, from Amazon, USA, sometime in November 2021. It has been working fine, till a few days back, when I found there was NO sound. The dial lights up, channels and time are stored, and all keys functioning, but there is no sound. I did a factory reset, by long pressing 1, and quick pressed the reset button, still no result. All stored channels and time zone…are erased, still not even a scratch of sound. Please help and guide me on trouble shooting, I hope there's nothing very serious, Thanks,
How well does this work? I just got my C. Crane CC Skywave yesterday and so far have found only one Air Band frequency that I can hear anything. Also, I played around with it last night and really didn't get many channels on any of the bands to really come in well. If you or anyone else has the Skywave and the one in this video, I'd love to hear your thoughts on each one. If I need a bigger radio to get more band reception, I'm fine with that, as long as I can find one with the Air Band.
i returned my executive to amazon today. i dont like the clicking sound when turning tuning knob. LCD display that showing unwanted text on some angle is annoying.
The only negative I've experienced with it is that the clock sometimes goes wacky and is often inaccurate and I switch back to FM for it to re-set. Otherwise, it's pretty good.
Do you have video of your top 10 portable shortwave radios? It would be cool to watch. Cheers!
When I turn mine on its in sleep mode and shuts off, I have to play with turning off and on to not have the sleep mode on?

The one I bought doesn't have that issue...lolol...I love mine as long as I don't break the thing

My clock is off like 2 minutes a day. But other than that, it's not a bad radio.
