I didnt have time lapse though, sold my Canon DSLR recently for a Sony RX100 so i can put it in my pocket and shoot while doing MX and MTB rides as well...

Nice edit man! I liked the timelapse at 2:08. I would suggest a little color correction to make your footage look even better.

Canon 7D, and a Slidetracked Timelapse Dolly Rig. 30 Second exposures, 45 second interval and 4-5 hours of sitting and waiting.
