thanks for the reply. is it possible to do such a surgical procedure independently " without medical supervision" and which tools would you recommend? and do you perform frontal sinus surgery?
Sinuses are spaces within bones. Only one frontal bone with frontal sinus seperated to two by intersinus septa. Only one ethmoid bone with 20-200 ethmoid sinuses on each side. Only one sphenoid bone, with sinus seperated by intersphenoidal septum. But there are two maxillary bones on either side of face and each contain one maxillary sinus inside.
@@DrSujathasENTClasses ohkay ma'am thank you so much...I did not hear the word bone in the lecture....that's why got confused with the paired and unpaired thing...thank you for such an elaborate answer to my question😊😊
Is it possible for a foreign object to enter a frontal sinus e.g in a car accident or forcibly etc and how can it be removed and what would an estimated cost be involved if performed professionally -

Maam all sinuses are paired only.
I did not understand the first line in the starting of your lecture about the unpaired thing

one of the commonest sites of foreign body penetration. Removal is by elevating frontal sinus, anterior table flap. Not that costly job.
