Had a lip flip last year, for the first few days it’s true it’s hard to form an S or blow a whistle. It soon wears of and it gave me a nice shaped top lip as mine is quite thin. It looked nice on my holiday photos. It was a freeby when I got wrinkle treatment. I only get this once a year so I’ve booked to have it again this month at a small cost. I would never get fillers anywhere on my face.
Not so… if possible to avoid filler I recommend lip flip. You do need to be consulted. As long as you exercise your muscle above your lip you’ll be fine. Lip flip does not have a major effect as when your drinking or sipping. Just remind yourself small amounts of liquid or food in your mouth. I think filler can effect speech and a syringe of filler can change the way you eat. I say this with full respect …good luck!

I wish I'd seen this before getting it. Great smile, but when I try to say the letters p and b my mouth moves down and I sound like I have a speech impediment
I got a lip flip 12 days ago. Aside from the obvious ( not being able to blow out a candle or hold a smoke in my mouth) I love it. Made my lips look lush af. Love the look of it!
Very informative! Thank you! I was also wondering about long-term effects. If a lip flip works for you and you decide to get it redone, what effect would atrophy of that muscle have? Would the muscle stay atrophied at injection sites or fill itself back in?

I had both done and yeah bottox works better for my lips 😊
