@Sash12 in fact the Sega Genesis or Mega Drive does actually have the sound chip from the master system and game gear
actually neither had a dedicated sound chip, both used a PSG that was integrated into the VDP, and for backwards compatibility with the Master System VDP, the PSG was kept in the Mega Drive's version
as a side note, the Game Gear had a different version of the VDP which had a PSG that was capable of stereo

Past < Still the original, but the drums is replaced with the Launch Base bongos and one of the instruments is replaced with the flute.
Bad Future < A metal and streets of rage-esque theme with the drums being replaced with the Knuckles drums
Good Future < Two instruments are replaced with one in Diamond Dust Act 1 and one in Ice Cap Zone Act 2
But isn't this a water based level?

At minute 1:50 now you know that this song is from dust hill or showe from Sonic 2 because there is a whistle in the song that this whistle is from desert songs the best example is mirage Saloon from Sonic mania which has the same ringtone of whistle notes if you think it's just a reference or a consistency, look at other desert songs from games, movies, etc.

What does PSG and DAC stand for?
PSG is like when you make that sst sound with your mouth. DAC means that its the percussion (drums).
DAC = Drums and Cimbles (?)
@@lilithtboifemale4922 DAC is used for samples, for example: the drums or the "SEEEGAAAAA!" scream
DAC sounds for Digital to Analogue converter, and is actually a mislabeling of it, because the YM2612 doesn't have a DAC built-in, it's more of a sample mixer
