Why would you think that? Being Top 500 on Overwatch means that you're much better in non-hero shooters such as Counter Strike
to be fair he is a high ish level player in OW2 so it makes sense that it carries over.
@@VoltiumOG because unless you play hitscan like jay3, your knowledge on cs or any game like cod, even fortnite is just useless, like imagine being a junk/sombra/sym main, or a tank main, or a support thats not bap/ana, you would suck really bad on any game besides ow2 if you want to transition to another game
@@germanluque9756 I don't think that's true. Maybe you don't need to aim that much with the characters you mentioned but the self/game awareness and decision making skills are present in every single game you put as examples and even more

Well as he mentioned in the video, he used to play counterstrike, it's just been a really long time. He was definitely doing a lot worse at first, but once he got back into the hang of it he popped off

I would love to see more cs2 from you just as a fun thing on the side
Honestly I'd love to see all the current OW content creators come together and stream a session in a game like Rust or similar, where the core concept is so different from OW while still having shooter mechanics etc but with so much more potential for the social aspect to truly unfold in the most glorious ways.
Can this become a thing??
The problem is that there's just so much to learn with Rust that it ends up not being very entertaining to watch new people play it. Like Shroud has played with other Rust content creators before, so he did well because they supplied him and he just had to click heads. But if Shroud played solo or with a team of non-Rust players, they'd be prim locked the whole session guaranteed. Even if they did find guns, they'd end up killing neighbors on repeat until they came to raid them and you just know they'd have a wood shack that'd get destroyed in 10 seconds lol.
@@RealEllenDeGeneres the learning part is the fun stuff, the goofy ahh interactions where you are out to collect rocks and get mauled by a bear. The bow and arrow skirmishes. Just need a few who know the basics of the game and let them spread some knowledge. Hololive did it to great success, other content creators like xQc have done it too.
I'm enjoying seeing overwatch streamers broadening their horizons and watching their content on other games

For some reason I keep getting recommended other players playing cs2. For anyone who doesnt know, 3000 elo (where hes playing) is absolutely horrible. Hes either playing against people who dont own a mouse, or have serious mental disabilities.

No way cstrike is still playing same three 20-year old maps.
they are really not the same anymore.. Nuke is changed,Dust_2 is changed, Vertigo is changed.. Well Mirage is kinda the same as cpl_fire but some tweaks there too. Inferno is also changed :p
Cobblestone have been changed to many times(and isnt in the game yet),Train is getting reworked,Cache is getting reworked...
Anubis and Ancient are two new maps that are kinda good after youve get used to them :)
It might have the same names as the OG maps, but they arent really the same anymore :)

They're all trying new games because OW has been dying since before they launched OW2. But they had been holding onto OW with hopium, praying that they wouldn't have to abandon the game. Not because they still enjoy it, but because it's really hard to switch games as a content creator. You risk alienating the entire community you've built up, who specifically watch you because they like OW. Switching games can be a death sentence for content creators. Especially since your skills don't translate 1:1 to another game. So if people watch Jay because he's a god tier OW player, they won't necessarily have a reason to watch if he not only switches to a new game, but then also isn't god tier in that new game. I think Jay is fine though, his character/persona is really where his content value is and his skills translate pretty well anyway.

CS players were always like that non-functional anticheat plus the fact that majority is actually just dogshit at aiming to the point it's painful to spectate is the reason this is happening lol
Your gameplay looks cheaty because you have very good tracking and use taps to get headshots. Cs players would usually aim at the head and shoot in small burst to get 4-5 bullets on target in case they miss the headshot. So it's strange gameplay but still works because of great tracking

CS2 has a massive cheating problem so whenever someone is playing well they get accused of cheating, whether they are or not. I float around 15k and even at that rank there's still someone accusing someone else every other game. They're probably right half the time but what can ya do lol. Play more CS, Jay!
Just play faceit, i got 400 matches out of them like 5 were cheater matches.
