UFC 2 definitely had the best physics, and whilst the controls were a bit wild, the physics-based strikes definitely felt the most realistic, like an actual fight. 4 and especially 5 feel too scripted and stiff.

Undisputed 3 is fun but it really is dated. I own the game but to go ad far as to say Undisputed 3 is just flat out better I would disagree, it just did a lot of things you would want from the current ones. But in terms of the fighting it wasn't as good as it is now, you could like 20 jab straights and not get a rock lol
@awaken554 no it isn't my guy, you can still recover 3 times sometimes even 4 in undisputed if you know how, the point is jabs and straights don't ko people how it should realistically, and you can take like multiple damn headkicks and be fine
@@Freeezieif you use moving jab on certain fighters it drops them and rocks. And signature straights rock and ko. If your fighter isn't good with straights you get no rock but you can interrupt setting up hooks, uppercut, and kicks. As well as get a drop. I'm pretty sure you just played the game wrong. Plus jabs smell up eyes and cause cuts that drain stamina and make the next shot do more dmg. Only thing that you can say is fucked about ud3 is that footwork stats matters too much If you are an outside fighter and sways. Otherwise striking is 10 times more cerebral than ea ufc. Also when was the last time you've seen à fighter rocked from a jab. You can't even rock with jabs in fight night champion.

My comment still stands and I even made it on another post where people liked it more, and NO the games fighting is not cerebral at all. It takes way too long to ko somebody unless you playing easy difficulty the health system is literally random, you can hit someone with the most perfect meaty counter and they will still eat it. Getting a 1 punch ko is so rare, and facial damage doesn't ever make a damn difference. Not once have I ever gotten a doctors stoppage in the game and if u watch my clips, I've beaten them up on the ground for the sole purpose of messing there faces up and still never got one, and your saying signature straights but that's literally a special power attack. Not just a simple straight, if your character doesn't have it you can't do it. I can literally argue against all the points you made basically. The game lacks true realism concepts other than the fact it looks good and has a lot of ground positions to simulate better. But you can't slip the jab and rock them with just 1 perfectly placed punch or even get an instant ko, I can literally post a video rn of ufc 5 of the fight just starting and I slept him with 1 punch cause I slipped his kick, you can't do that in Undisputed
Man, I recently bought UFC 1 because I'm absolutely obsessed with the UFC games ever since I learned the basics, and one of the things that made UFC 1 so fun to play, is the knockout animation. I was telling my friend the other day that UFC 1 is the type of game you can play while drunk and just d*e laughing your a** off at the ko animations. When you knocked our McGregor and I saw the animation, it cracked me up, and I wasn't even drunk 😂
I’ve played 1,2,5,4,3 in that order and can see the method in the madness.. They’ve created five good games added taken out different things all for one purpose to encourage us to try them all which I think is kinda genius from a business standpoint.

UFC 1 was good. I started with ufc 1 and when they changed the mechanics in ufc 2. I stopped playing until ufc 5. So from then to now it’s kind of hard. But I’m getting there though.
As someone who’s only played ufc 5 I really expected ufc 1-2 and maybe even 3 to look really low quality and I was surprised to see they actually look very good for the time. And to see how ufc 3-4 essentially look like 5…really make you realize how lazy they were when they made ufc 5 tbh

I personally would rather have and arcade fighter because honestly I’m never going to be able to learn how to read people I’m just not that fast and there are way too many combos for me to try and *read* , plus the input lag is just something I will never be able to get around.
UFC 1 : A game of its own, while it re-uses some assets from EA MMA. Its arcadey and not really that good, mediocre at best UFC 2 : UFC 1 with improved gameplay + ragdoll knockouts. While those knockouts were a bit off, they felt so satisying, Out of all EA UFC games, this is the most fun to play UFC 3 : A reworked game, more of a simulation approach than the arcade style of previous games. I dont know if its better than its predecessor, but its definitely better than its successors UFC 4 : basically a dumbed down version of UFC 3, with elbows and hammer fists removed, ground game and clinch simplified. and the game now is more of a casual fan oriented, rather than old school MMA community. but added some nice features like kumite and backyard etc UFC 5 : clone of UFC 4. just copypasted to the next gen. but it feels even more clunky
I think ufc 1 3 and 5 should mix together to get six. The ko idea in my opinion where they lose conciousness standing was really good. It could be a feature they can add. And ufc 3 was amazing. It just felt so good to play. And then the graphics of ufc 5. Perfect ufc created.

Now they reusing they models like Roby Lawler and Aldo as an example Just add 4 dlc packs with removed fighters from 1 to 2 2 to 3 3 to 4 4 to 5 And don't give me "oh but they are not in ufc no more" Well Mike parry , Luke rockhold in bare knuckle Rampage and machida in belator And maaaaany fighters not EVEN under ufc contract for years who in the ufc 5 roster And there is lot more examples but you get the point

I love how the first 3 games had follow up strikes. Finishing the fight felt so much more frantic and visceral. UFC 4 and 5 just feel so lacking, like theres no energy. Knock a fighter out and the victorious fighter just walks off.......what kinda shit is that. And why did the first 4 games have multiple UFC refs and UFC 5 has Herb Dean and nobody else. Something tells me the dev team doesn't have much passion for the sport of MMA. Would be like if I helped develop a basketball game. I dont care for basketball, so Im sure Id leave out tons of details.
The series really peaked at UFC 3 lol......maybe UFC 2 for some of us. Personally I preferred UFC 3 although the knockouts in UFC 2 were infinitely better. UFC 4 was a massive downgrade in almost every aspect, and UFC 5 didn't do much to get the series back on track. I still love your videos BTW, but I dont care to play UFC 5, at least not in its present state. Maybe with a couple good patches I can find some enjoyment with it

Dude UFC 3 feels and plays so much better than 5, the way the characters throw punches and their stance actually looks like how the fighters actually move I was stunned when I went back and played wonderboy in 3 and now I feel like I’ve downgraded playing 5
I don't know if Naz made the game look nicer, but ufc 2 looked a lot like 5 it's brighter than 3 and 4, and the character models are way more nice the main thing that weirds me out is the lighting and brightness I play ufc 2 on ps5 but it looks way darker and the character models look different
What do I do if I am going backwards and we all know you can’t really sway and it drains your stamina a lot, but they just keep throwing jabs/straights and a lot of hooks and when I try and stop to get a neutral position to throw my combos they back up and I’ve wasted my stamina and I’m against the cage trying to recover but they’ve already recovered and then they go back to fucking me up.
Can we shareplay in UFC 1? I am thinking about buy it and play with a friend, but since ufc 2 shut down servers and i wasnt able to shareplay anymore, i dont know....
ufc 2 is for real fighters 😂 i have every ufc and said the rest is simulation , if your fighting well enough legendary come back k.o's ,real timed punches, and weaving and parry was simple
I went back to UFC 3 and while tracking is no problem compared to 5 i find being an offline player only the AI in UFC 5 is by far the best. I find the fights more exciting in 5 and loving the ground submission game with the struggle mechanics and no mini game. There could be more clinch transitions like 3 which would make 5 the clear winner. ps- i am giving benifit of the doubt that EA is going to eventually fix camera and tracking issues fingers crossed.

THQ made the best UFC games and we took them for granted😢 now they're gone. I think it took playing EA's games before many of us realized just how good we had it in 2009-2012. I still play Undisputed 3. Not a perfect game but it at least feels like an MMA fight as far as how it plays out, the ground game, strikes doing enough damage, fighters actually feel unique and not reskins. Plus they gave us Pride mode, and it wasn't a half assed attempt, they put a ton of effort into it and ot showed.
UFC 1 and 2 are 100% better then ufc3 ufc4 and ufc5 UFC 5 is so bad you have a major reach disadvantage the coloring is poor the game mechanics are extremely rigid UFC1 and UFC2 the gameplay is smooth deeper more 1:23 vibrant colours more unique character attributes and moves and it just feels in place with each character. For that reason among many others I’m going back to ufc1 and ufc2

The clinch system was so much better back then, I absolutely hate the clinch system they made for 4/5

I love how the first 3 games had follow up strikes. Finishing the fight felt so much more frantic and visceral. UFC 4 and 5 just feel so lacking, like theres no energy. Knock a fighter out and the victorious fighter just walks off.......what kinda shit is that. And why did the first 4 games have multiple UFC refs and UFC 5 has Herb Dean and nobody else. Something tells me the dev team doesn't have much passion for the sport of MMA. Would be like if I helped develop a basketball game. I dont care for basketball, so Im sure Id leave out tons of details.

The series really peaked at UFC 3 lol......maybe UFC 2 for some of us. Personally I preferred UFC 3 although the knockouts in UFC 2 were infinitely better. UFC 4 was a massive downgrade in almost every aspect, and UFC 5 didn't do much to get the series back on track. I still love your videos BTW, but I dont care to play UFC 5, at least not in its present state. Maybe with a couple good patches I can find some enjoyment with it

I don't know if Naz made the game look nicer, but ufc 2 looked a lot like 5 it's brighter than 3 and 4, and the character models are way more nice the main thing that weirds me out is the lighting and brightness I play ufc 2 on ps5 but it looks way darker and the character models look different

What do I do if I am going backwards and we all know you can’t really sway and it drains your stamina a lot, but they just keep throwing jabs/straights and a lot of hooks and when I try and stop to get a neutral position to throw my combos they back up and I’ve wasted my stamina and I’m against the cage trying to recover but they’ve already recovered and then they go back to fucking me up.
Try to slip and counter one of the jabs, stop moving straight back and instead move sideways

I went back to UFC 3 and while tracking is no problem compared to 5 i find being an offline player only the AI in UFC 5 is by far the best. I find the fights more exciting in 5 and loving the ground submission game with the struggle mechanics and no mini game. There could be more clinch transitions like 3 which would make 5 the clear winner. ps- i am giving benifit of the doubt that EA is going to eventually fix camera and tracking issues fingers crossed.
The ragdoll knockouts were better in 2 but I like UFC 5 more.

I got to say it ea sports ufc games are horrible
THQ made the best UFC games and we took them for granted😢 now they're gone. I think it took playing EA's games before many of us realized just how good we had it in 2009-2012. I still play Undisputed 3. Not a perfect game but it at least feels like an MMA fight as far as how it plays out, the ground game, strikes doing enough damage, fighters actually feel unique and not reskins. Plus they gave us Pride mode, and it wasn't a half assed attempt, they put a ton of effort into it and ot showed.

UFC 1 and 2 are 100% better then ufc3 ufc4 and ufc5 UFC 5 is so bad you have a major reach disadvantage the coloring is poor the game mechanics are extremely rigid UFC1 and UFC2 the gameplay is smooth deeper more 1:23 vibrant colours more unique character attributes and moves and it just feels in place with each character. For that reason among many others I’m going back to ufc1 and ufc2
