    These stations have a catastrophic design flaw that causes two problems:
    1. When the tip is touched to ground, the thermal sensing is disabled, causing them to lose temperature regulation. (Firmware updates partially fix, partially hide this.)
    2. Massive ground leakage through the tip. Many volts, easily enough to damage some components.
    This should disqualify it for practicality all electronics use.

    I love my t3b only downside for me is that c115 tips breaks very easy if you put a bit of downforce to it. Apart from that this station is the best station you can get i would say in the 100 to 400 euros range

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  Рік тому

      Hi, I agree with you, and they know released a "light" version of the T3A and T3B without the awesome stand that is much cheaper. Is now in the 80€ range without the stand. It seems the stand is a bit part on the final price of the soldering station... but it is really good, love it! Thanks for watching!

      It's one of the best in the 100-200€, but for 400€ you can get a true JBC soldering station : better quality, better warranty and better customer service, everything is better 😜

    Is there any mirror of the software? There is a new software but it is mandatory to create an account and login. Account creating is not working properly. Maybe, new program is under development.

      Hi, weird, let's see if someone else complains. You used the link in the description? Anyeay, thank you so much for using the link, there should be a major selling season comming this end of the month, start next month that has great discounts. To give an idea, the T3A was at 99€ freeshipping last month and now is also 140€... it makes a difference! Also, I have always discount coupons on that seasons that I can share, so if you're interested, before buying ping me here or by e-mail, you have the address in the about page. We have to use this discount seasons, is when I buy everything. Last month I bought a air compressor, a air solder dispenser, a router, everything on sale! Can I use original JBC handles like AN115 nano tweezers with this device?

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  Рік тому

      Hi, never tested, but since it recognises the handle that is connected, I really don't know if it will work. Thanks for watching!

      @TechCornerTV  Рік тому

      Hi, yes, it will be cool if you can find it in a european warehouse, but the manufacturer doesn't have any presence in europe and that I'm aware of, no other place in the world too. Thanks for watching!

    Worth it????

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  Рік тому +1

      Hi, yes, totally worth it, but, they have the model T3A that I think for most prople might be better since this is more dedicated to micro soldering, due the tips, but again, you can always get different tips 😁 but I mean is if you need that tips to solder large blobs, like cables on a 3D printer heatbed or something like that, go with the T3A. It has more power for that kind of jobs. Thanks for watching!
