I love it so much when metal bands make either accoustic versions of songs or straight up accoustic songs, because I can feel the same emotion and power that they put in their metal songs in these, but because it's accoustic you pay much more attention to the lyrics and lyrical flare, which just empowers the message in the song
I think one of my favorite parts of this song is the fact that it sounds like a love song, mostly due to the lyrics, but it’s not corny or sappy. In both, it sounds like a betrayal, and they’re forgiving each other. In the original, it sounds more hurt and slowly coming to terms. THIS one sounds like pure forgiveness and accepting. I love Noah’s vocals

Most of their softer songs (i.e. Just Pretend and Careful What You Wish For) always invoke the more humane and fragile part of me. They definitely can pull out the fragile parts of anyone.
