I think one of the big reasons @Lloyd's ASMR is so great is how deliberate and on purpose he is. A lot of people try too hard to cram as many triggers in as possible that it actually has the opposite effect. The mind doesn't relax. It goes off like a hamster trying to catch everything. The very best artists are methodical. Maria, Gibi, Fred, Latte, Rapunzel, and of course, Lloyd all share this trait.

One thing I realized after subscribing to this channel is: nowadays our days pass rapidly. Work, recreation etc require too much of our daily lives. We are always in a rush to cram so much into our finite days. But Lloyd shows and reminds us (with his original ASMR style) how things were before modernity became rampant. People could take things slow and let the moment soak in. Sometimes our minds need to slow down and cool off, thanks for making this possible, Lloyd.

Oh man, this popped up and I thought: this is going to be special!
Loyd, I have a great story for you and your fans. As a child I had a teacher who's voice and breathing put me in to a trance when she leaned over my desk to talk to me. As an adult my little 2 year old niece would comb my hair and touch my face and breath gently which also put me in the same trance.I have told many people over the years that some day there would be a name for this tingly feeling and scientists would be able to offer much insight in to this phenomena. ASMR of course can also incorporate many sounds . I theorize that the soft touch from someone along with a soothing gentle voice is reminding our brains of the times our mothers would cuddle, kiss and whisper to us until we were asleep. on your next live chat I would love to hear if you had a childhood awareness of this like I did, Thanks much!
