Thank you for taking us along at the Conclave. My dad, who is 93 owned the Silverstone that you showed at the outdoor car show for 63 years. He just sold in 2023 and the new owner brought it. My dad had to stop driving due to age and mobility getting in and out of the car. Glad to see it made the cut for your video.
Little #12 doesn't like to start when it's hot. And then we used up the clutch disc enough that we discovered a geometry problem between the annular throw-out and the MED clutch assembly. But my crew-person Sam got nine gymkhana runs in before the clutch gave up. Rich, in the #4 Sebring tribute Sprite, won the race-class in the gymkhaha. What a fun week!
That looked to be a great show and a really good turn out. I could not choose the best car out of all of those Austins they were well presented even the barn find looked good! The racing looked like fun and the drive around town was interesting with all its scenery and buildings. Thanks for taking us along Steve and well done on your win. 👍👍
Now I can't decide if my new favorite car is the Nash Healey or that hotel lobby Sebring or the Silverstone. Love your videos from shows like this, so many beauties
What a gathering. I doubt they’ve had that many Healeys in one meet in the UK. We’ll done and what a great setting. Irate to say it but Branson doesn’t hold a candle to Elkhart Lake.
That checkered / striped Bugeye race car at 28:13 has the same wheels I do, they look like authentic/vintage American Racing Equipment wheels. I think they're aluminum. I'm trying to find acorn lug nuts for them now so I can mount them on my bugeye daily driver. I plan to put them on my race car in the future. They came off my father's bugeye race car he built in 81 or 82.
That was really cool to see Steve! Thanks Did you meet Jack Rawles while you were there? That light gray #4 Sebring Sprite is amazing. I saw that one get sold on Bring A Trailer a while back for about $43,000. Wish I had the dough for it 👍
I just finished my father's BJ8. 145k. And other than it was dad's it's relatively unremarkable. I would spend it no matter what, just wish I could have afforded to when he was alive. However, his grandkids (who came after his passing) will experience the car like I did with him as a child.

Great to see so many Healeys saved and driven. Thanks for taking us along.

Thanks Steve. That was fun.
What a supreme pleasure to watch this video, especially seeing Bob Newhart discussing the Healy Silverstone. I have missed him recently.
Great video and that was quite the turn out for the conclave. Well done, Steve.

Thanks for the video.
great stuff thanks
Not enough shots of my Sprite. Hahaha Great video, looking forward to seeing you in May.
Which Sprite was yours?
Great video
Planned on making it, Steve, but went to retrieve another Sprite instead! Thanks for putting this up. Only flaw was a paucity of square Sprite's!
I was also surprised that there was a total of only one Jensen-Healey in attendance.

Yes I talked to Jack several times a day.
Would have been nice to make it out there. Already planning to make Tahoe.
Was that 106, or 100/6..?..
Much appreciated Steve... in the spirit of my 63 Sprite 1098..👍
The original Austin Healey is a 4 cylinder called the 100. Later they came out with the 6-cylinder 100-6 which looks more like a 3000 than a 100.
Steve, you must be in hog heaven😊
There must be billions of dollars spent every year in the USA on car restorations!!!!!!!!
Estimated to have been $5.5 Billion Globally in 2022

@@AuAgGeo My comment was born of admiration, not criticism, good on you for keeping your dad's memory alive in metal and glass!
@@paulhall170 oh I know sir. There was no offense taken.
