I loved Raelle and Scylla’s garden scene. They both belong together. This is literally the BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!
I love the entire show but the Raelle and Scylla storyline pulled me in. I can’t get enough of them.
I find Scylla such an interesting character. I do hope to see more of Raelle developing her power and to see her connecting with Abigail and Tally.

It keeps getting better and better each episode
This week was a roller coaster and I just knew the whole Scylla been a spree was bigger than just Scylla.
She’s also being used, she is a pawn. Her feelings/motives being manipulated by others to their advantage. She is truly in love with Raelle and they are now upset at her.
This episode it was apparent that Scylla is starting to fall for raelle but is still manipulating her.
Love Scylla. By far the most interesting character on the show.

She killed Porter how can you root for a ruthless killer
I really love these After the Storm videos. They add some extra info on the episode but they don't need to explain what happened in the episode because the writers have done a great job into saying everything already. I enjoy these videos immensely, and everyone that takes part in them, because you can see how much they like and enjoy the work they've done and are clearly happy and proud to talk about it.
Raelle and Scylla are the reason why I binge watched all the episodes TODAY and I NEED MORE!
I totally LOVE Scylla's character, I know she's killed people but if one thinks about it, we don't know what she's been through nor what she was taught, we know almost nothing about her life till now. Just that:
1. She's with the spree.
2. Her parents were killed by the military just to make a point.
3. She's just a teen.
4. The spree tortures her in a way that makes me think they made her this way.
5. She looks like she really is falling in love with Raelle.
In my opinion, I think Scylla is just a teenager that made wrong choices based on what the supposedly "good" guys did to her parents. Something that would make her ask "if they are good guys, why did they kill my parents?" the thing, I assume, was what she loved the most as a child. Plus, the abuse the spree does to her. I do hope though that she can redeem herself and make the right decision.
Aresty i think if Scylla was a guy, we would be shouting why can’t Raelle get a new guy. Cos it’s the only lesbian relationship on the show we are all accepting them as endgame even if one of them is clearly evil! Lol
@@princecaleb07 I can't talk for everyone but for me, it's not like that. It has nothing to do with gender. But like I said it was my opinion. Either way I don't think it's bad if they think like that bc it's a girl, everyone wants different things for different reasons. Plus, many evil (male) characters turn good, so I don't see why it would be just bc Scylla is a girl.
@@princecaleb07 Nope. If she was a guy, she'd be just as interesting. It's the duality and the conflict of her motivations that make her interesting, not the fact she's a lesbian. Well, admitting of course they find an actor who can play GuyScylla as convincingly and with as much charm as Amalia, which is a tall order.

I'm enjoying the journey so far. I'm curious how it all will develop. I love Scylla and Raelle together, there scenes were beautiful, amazing camera work, the colours, love it. The chemistry is of the charts. This episode was interesting, very curious about the next one. Let the wedding bells ring
this show is incredible. invested in the characters, great world-building and storytelling, few plotholes rn and not big ones at that, love the feminism and the ethnic and age diversity seen in every episode.

Yeah, I totally feel the same way. I love this show especially because of these two characters (but not only). But I'm so afraid that Scylla will die. I'm actually afraid to get too invested in these two, because of that. But maybe this show's writers have learned from other shows (fingers crossed).

@@Cassandratwins2 tbh, I think most shows that kill lesbians left and right are just trying to get the same publicity people gave The 100 with their 5 years of whining.
Sadly it only made things worse, not better and now shows that use vaguely supporting lesbian characters to create social media buzz and have no respect for the characters or the audience, are just killing them off to get publicity because they're so unimportant to the shows, they don't risk anything. That's obviously not the case here.

The thing I can't get past is that Scylla lied to Raelle that she didn't see Porter the night before he was killed. If Scylla knew Raelle would have his memory of Scylla seeing him that night through linking, why would she lie?

Very good video about a great episode, as always. Interesting to get some insight about Eliot regarding the place of LGBT in the Witchworld, as I was wondering, with all these witches losing their lives on the battlefield, and some of the matrilines dying, if LGBT witchers had an obligation to fulfill when it comes to prolonging their lines. Now I know. You thought of everything!
I get his ‘logic’ but it is disgusting and very much so conversion therapy rhetoric especially when they are witches for cryin out loud they could easily use artificial insemination or even a spell work to unite two people’s dna hell its even surprising that they dont have a spell work to unite two dnas of the same sex

@@leahm8166 But in this world, there is no shame associated with sexuality so it makes sense that nobody would struggle with it and just be attracted to who they are attracted to without shame and without being closeted. I think Scylla wasn't expecting just how attracted she would be to Raelle when she met her and she wasn't expecting to fall in love with her so it would make sense to believe she is not gay.

I can't get over the fact that Scylla killed that innocent guy.
She literally had no choice. She tried to warn him off. Twice. She couldn't let him blow her cover. It was him or her.

I love them both. I truly love their relationship. But I can't bare the fact that Scylla is the Spree in the mall during 1st ep and killed so many innocent people (base on the face changes and the clothes when she changed showed throughout the series). I really do hope that wasn't Scylla, because there's not direct evident in the series showing that she truly did it (and don't forget this series have twists too), although she did kill Porter and she had personal reasons (her family and witch liberation) for her doings and lying. But a terrorist who killed hundreds of people, I don't want Scylla really become that person. But afterall, if Scylla did enjoy killing people like the joyful expression in the 1st ep, she wouldn't show that sad/regret face when she pushed Porter to suicide and also wouldn't truly love Raelle that much. I hope we can get a great explanation about that, and also Scylla's persuasive history and good changes, redemption in season 2. So that Raelle can forgive her and get back to her. Because they truly love rach other, an extememly beautiful relationship (without some Scylla's bad things and lies). God I love this ship so much and they must be the endgame!!!! Oh my lil heart, be still... T-T

Seeing this series, I do not blame Scylla for being a part of The Spree. Yes, a mass murder is wrong, but the non-witches aren't innocent either.

Well, the people she killed has nothing to do with politics so they were innocent but let's compare history to see how many witches were killed all over the world by normies and I'm sure the Spree is way way behind. Honestly, for me Raelle forgiving Scylla in the 4 episode wasn't justified, why didn't Porter say Scylla killed him also isn't very justifiable by them being lovers in the past, it could have been a more interesting scene and still keeping it a secret, and we could have seen a bit more regret on the Scyllas behalf. And honestly where the director made a mistake, in my opinion, was portraying Scylla as a mass murderer in the first scene of the show(and also giving her a false face made me question if this is her real face), which somehow isn't a problem? I'm sorry but justifying a terrorist attack is a bit more difficult than giving the character a hard past and a love interest, we have to see someone has an actual sense of morality and conscience, maybe a bit of doubt? and especially when I think the whole spree thing is very vague, not enough thought trough and its mission is not very clear, which makes us question for what cause exactly would someone be a mass killer?? I'm sorry if I bored anyone, just saying this from a stance of a young director myself, thanks
very late, but this part caught my eye: ''why didn't Porter say Scylla killed him''. Porter didn't expose Scylla because the Spree intervened somehow. As per the red headed Spree lady posing as Raelle at the end of the episode said to Scylla: ''Porter, who do you think cleaned that up ?!''
If you're a young director, you should start by learning the difference between the director and the writer. The writer writers the show. The director takes care of the filming. It's the writer who showed us Scylla killing people. Second, they're not justifying anything. I loved that they made the hard choice of portraying Scylla taking part in such a heinous and seemingly gratuitous act. She's a kid. She's angry. She made a huge mistake that cost over a thousand lives. She's going to need to forgive herself and make it up to herself if she wants to go on.

Hey, I think Scylla is the brunette and the leader of the Spree is the red head. I think once Scylla showed the Spree that she is on their side (trying to recruit Raelle), she was grant with the power to change into many forms. Note..it seems like the Spree has to have a special lighter (Scylla and the fake Realle has one) but the red had from episode 1 was able to use any flame. Also noted that Porter knew the brunette Scylla and they grew up together.

@Siti Khairunnisa Good catch. But now two question raise from that. If Syclla is indeed using the red head for when she do bad things...why change faces twice in the first episode? I switching from red head to another one doesn't make since. And if there was not leader why would Syclla be threading in the episode four? I feel there is a leader for the Spree just unknown to us. Personally I think its Sarah....she giving me an uneasy vibe.
@@xRoyal187x The leader of spree is a mystery and interesting question. Let's leave that for now since this series is still on 4th episode and they do not even fight spree yet .. haha.. But, again we will back to what Anacostia mentioned that the spree is based on parallel hierarchy and that can be collapsed anytime following the situation. Cannot say that syclla limited to change to one appearance only since she can disguised as Helen Grace in Episode 2. I think Spree only has Sycla as their double agent at Fort Salem. What's your opinion?

I found myself questing what was the point of Scylla even being there. Unless Raelle or her Unit post a bigger threat.
