Austin’s a beast!!! Met him at HOB Anaheim Ca. Him and the rest of the boys from Lorna Shore were awesome!! He’s the real deal. No fakery there man. Keep it up!!!
I can understand that this video is advertising Paiste. Please, no offence but it feels as 80% of the interesting moments the camera is pointing at the wrong spot. Would love to see a version focusing specifically on the best and tastiest parts.
Great drummer and incredible timing but the double pedal, IMO gets to be too much. Buddy Rich always said to never stay to long on one drum, "play the kit not the drum". Hey I'm an old guy so what do I know?
Each to their own preferences, but at the end of the day... this is a playthrough of a deathcore/metal track. As a whole, this side of extreme metal often sees drummers drive the double kick like there's no tomorrow. Not condemning you, or even trying to argue, but perhaps looking for drummers outside of the deathcore/metal persuasion would see you finding results that do more for your personal tastes?
I think different artists have different approaches to create their music. Obviously Buddy Rich was a band leader and had tons of time to solo and go crazy with whatever he wanted, but in a metal band the drums aren't exactly in the spotlight, but rather as a compliment and the band functions at a whole, so perhaps it favors more consistency rather than dynamics in this case
His double kick rhythms are legendary. Plus syncing kicks/bass guitar/elec guitar really adds to the power of a track. There's reasons for all the blast and kicks. Its all apart of the genre. Itd almost be like claiming that rappers rhyme to much lol. All apart of the experience my friend
look up any live video, austin will go down as one of the best drummers ever for metal, without a question. dude is cool as hell and absolutely legendary behind a kit. he sounds just as good live as he does on an album.
I’ve seen Lorna Shore live and met Austin afterwards. I’ve personally seen him drum like this for over an hour. The guy is an ungodly player and a super nice guy in person.

@@chuzcr8441 hazlo tu
@@chuzcr8441 no sabia que los triggers se tocan solos
This video is one of the reasons I went with Paiste 900 cymbals over Meinl or Zildjian.
Beast Mode
He's with Meinl now , it's for the best
How does one get to be a Paiste artist? I have been playing them since 1983
You must be good at drums
Be in a band that doesn’t suck apparently

The cymbals sound so muted in this recording.
What’s the song?
"Darkest Spawn"
👌
Name song?
Darkest Spawn off of the Immortal record

Super cool ...kind of the evolution of humans 300 rpms with bass drums...🤔

The pedals,the blastbeats n stuff
Mmmm yummy 🖤🖤🖤
I guess one of the cymbals broke in the last part of the song and Paiste just decided to cut that part out to save face, eh?
In this context it's very dimmu borgir

вот тебе и 300bpm )))

Archie Single kick is faster than Lars Ulrich with 3 kicks
i dare him to post playing without triggers and showing his feet play fast for more than 2 seconds

So what if austin playing with trigger mate? So you would be better than him?
You do realize that every hit still has to be there? Triggers don't make you faster.
Cringe comment
