- Hello! Please make sure your playback settings display 1080p60 full HD, as I've filmed this video in those higher definition settings!
Sorry for the mix of vertical video clips mixed with horizontal, I filmed this with the intent of using it just for "shorts" which is setup to be filmed in a vertical format. I liked the final video so much, I wanted to add it to my normal video archive, so I'm stuck with some vertical shots. Regardless, enjoy!
No one in this hobby really has a sense of humor, here's my humor! If you don't like it, smash that dislike button, OH YA BROTHER!!!
Ah yes, good old Luzerne County, Pennsylvania! Free heat and energy! You can even steam all of your favorite meats for FREE! Just be careful where you walk...and breathe!

Sorry for the weird mix of vertical video with horizontal video. The reason for this is in the description.
I love this video. Just drive on Giants Despair. 🔥🔥🔥
@@eleveneleven9033 You wouldn't believe the air temps they've recorded from the underground tunnels under that road! Thanks for the kind words though!
Loved it! Looks cold back there.
@@AbandonedMines11 Thanks man! It's always cold anymore! Every time I decide to go up there, there's like a debilitating wind chill it seems, LOL.
That’s was pretty funny man!
@@BuckYaSaws thanks man. I liked it, hahaha. I felt creative that day up there while steaming some meat.
@ that old school voice over voice was great!
@BuckYaSaws I appreciate it, it's actually me talking, but obviously with a filter LOL
A nice PSA for NEPA!😂
@@babayaga2977 let's see them air this on wvia or the local news affiliates lol!
@AnthraciteHorrorStories 😁
@@babayaga2977 it's the ultimate Green Energy...
@AnthraciteHorrorStories I have questioned why none of it is harvested for many years. Such a total waste.
@babayaga2977 it really is a waste. What intrigues me is that they mined the coal in the late 1800s, who knows when it began, then it catches fire in 1915, they continue to mine underground well into the 1950s...then abandoned the mine and it just continues to burn. They mined the hell out of it, plus it's been burning for 110 years and shows no signs of stopping. How much coal is there?! It's unbelievable.
You cheeky thing 😂
@@BuckYaSaws 💂
My mom grew up on a dairy farm and they lived in an old housen. It was warmed by a big stove and she used to talk about how grandma would use coal in the stove instead of wood because it burned longer and hotter. I dont know what kind of coal it was.
@@melissakronenwetter6014 probably Anthracite! Ya, gives off a great heat.
My dad grew up in Forest City,
Pa , we'd travel from Binghamton to Carbondale and other local places . You could see the smoke coming out of the ground all over the place .
Like a small piece of hell on Earth!
mmmm....coal fire smoked Spam! 🤣
