Surprise my mans, I work in a gaming shop and I ordered some today! Strongly considering getting one of these myself since my H80i just packed up as well :D
Thanks for the great guide! I'm currently building a computer for the first time and I kinda regretted getting this cooler, due to how overwhelming it was, but i managed to get it all in! Hopefully it'll work though haha.
Love this video Nick. I installed my first AIO, Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R, following your video. I wish you gave the hot tip about the thumb screws on the mounting bracket on that video, as I nearly had a heat attack trying to wrench the 2nd bracket on the AM4 MOBO & not break the CPU 🤣🤣🤣. You are a legend Nick. Keep up the great work mate :-)
There's a reason your how to videos are amongst the most viewed on the channel. Super clear and concise instructions that even a monkey could follow, whilst blindfolded eating a banana. Excellent video fams.
Great Guide! getting this cooler in the next few days because the amd stock cooler certainly is not meeting the needs of cooling for my system. So glad you made this guide, understood this alot better than other guides I watched!
More of a general question - in all of your years building PCs, have you ever had an AIO leak on you? It seems like it's not really an issue with the current era of AIOs out there.
If you could also show beginners how to plug the pump connector into the aio 4 pin on the board would be handy. People will want to do it this way but it will confuse them ???? Otherwise this video is better than your previous instructions. Remember why you are creating these videos. It's for people who have no way near the knowledge you have. 2nd nature things which you and I think are easy are not for other people. So take a bit of the sarcasm away when you reference older how to videos. Many connectors here are different to previous gen products, changing the type of connectors on fans. Also connectors are different across brands. You showed how to do this in Asus. Gigabyte is different....
Thank you for this video. I followed your instructions and managed to successfully install and replaced my dead AIO cooler. There are some confusions on the some of the wiring and connectors (my motherboard's connectors naming differ from yours) but I managed to google and find the answers.
Wish me luck my AIO died last night and my CPU is bottlenecking so I have bought upgrades including this cooler, can I control the RBG without the controller and directly from the motherboard or do I need the controller?
Love your vids dude!!!! Awesome content!!! Got a question, would it be possible to mount the AIO like you did on minute 7:45, in a phanteks p500a? It looks very similar in the front like the p400a Best regards!!
Just put this aio in my mid tower, unfortunately I had to mount the radiator hose side up at the front of my case. I wish the hose were like 2 inches longer.. hopefully I don’t have to deal with a noisy pump in the future from this. Be aware if you have a mid tower you will probably have to mount the same way.
First of all, thank you for your excellent videos. I have a question, If I am installing the ML360 in a HAF 500, Do I need to use the included control or it is better to use the case control? thanks in advance
Thanks for making this guide! Putting together a build with the NV5 and using this cooler. The instructions aren't always very well made, so having video to reference is superb. Cheers!!
I made it like this, but my computer turns off for 10 minutes.....But if I put the computer on my back for the floor, the computer will work.....what do you think is wrong...?
You mentioned that the master plus software is not good at the moment. I am struggling with the current version on an ML360R. Do you have access to older versions that work with this controller?
just bought a cooler master ml360 mirror and mounted on front as you have done however there is a water gurgling sound every now and and ? this is my second unit same sounds
Do either the cooler master software or motherboard approach to setting up argb patterns allow you to give unique (non identical) profiles to each fan WHEN using the rgb splitter cables?
Can I connect the 3 pin pump connector to 4 pins on the motherboard? I don't have 3 pins on the MSI Z790-A motherboard. I don't know where to plug the pump connector. Please help me!
I have a CoolerMaster ML360 ILLUSION and I'm trying to add a MF140 Halo as an additional case fan. After I added the MF140 Halo, the RGB doesn't work on any of my fans...do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Why everyone create their own software and not just stick to the motherboard-provided sofware? Is it about locking buyer to their RGB ecosystem? The fact that almost all the sofware is crappy just confusing me. Great video as always bt
Hello! The halo fans are addressable in two ways? So if you want the fans light up blue and the halo purple you have to use the controller and their software?
So the 3 cooler fans, are rated at 0.37 amps, and the CPU fan header is rated at 1 amp. Is that gonna be an issue running more than 1 amp through a 1 amp rated header?
My MOBO doesn't have a 5V RGB header but it has 2 available 12V RGB header. IF I will plug it to the 12V RGB Header, it will cause me a problem later on, right?
buen video, lo usé para ver el cobre del bloque d ela bomba, también se ve sin pulir. Cambie mi msi 360 con fallas por este pero el otro estaba pulido y este hasta se siente que no está lizo, no es menos eficiente así? conviene pulirlo?
Will the cooler work with an am5 motherboard considering that the new am5 motherboard (asus tuf gaming x670 - e plus wifi in my case) won't allow the pre-installed am5 backplate to be removed?
Question on 11:35 as im not to good with understanding fan cables but why does the 3 way fan splitter (the 2 black ones) have 3 pins? to connect to the fan connector which has 4 holes? and that there is also a red colour in the fan splitter that contains 4 pins? in which should't the black end cables also have 4 pins to use up all the 4 pin holes on the fans?
I've a lian li 215 case, has 2 200 mm fans, I installed the radiator in front, 2 cooler master fans on top and one on tha back (exhaust) my cooler manual says to connect the pump and the fans to the controller and connect the controller to pump fan header, I then connected the case fans to the cpu fan header, is that right ?
I have phanteks Eclipse G360A Case with 3 additional rgb fans, i want to connect it to the controller, i got it to spin but now its the obly rgb that works. Any ideas what im doing wrong? Couldnt connect it to the controller due to the connector cabel not going into the controller slot.
When i tried connecting using the controller i was unable to get any of the RGB lighting to work on the fans or the pump. I plugged it into the motherboard directly now I have two lower fans with RGB working continuously (even when computer is shut down) and the top fan and pump do not have the RGB working.. really confused what might be the case here I think its faulty wiring maybe? any thoughts
i have a question here. I have an old Asus Z170-k mobo and it doesn't have an ARGB header. can i connect just the USB header to the mobo, and be able to control the lighting using aura sync? thanks.
Wonderful video. Sadly, the screws included to secure the radiator to my case are waaaay too short. Maybe my case is too thick (Paean mid-tower)? But you’d think Cool Master wouldn’t risk this with such unnecessarily short screws in the first place. Now I’m stuck with going to the hardware store to guess the screw size and replace them with longer versions.
How did that go for you? I ran into same issue with a different AIO. My case had 2mm raised mounting spots for the front fans. Even though the case specs said it supports front radiators, there was no way i was going to work without longer screws. So ended up driving to Home Depot for screw sizes a bit longer than the AIO. Worked out well.
Can you please do a review on CoolerMaster ARGB Controller vs CoolerMaster ARGB Controller A1 and let me know if both will worth other branded AIOs and fans and allow Individual LED control and Brightness control Note: Found that the old CoolerMaster ARGB Controller allows other branded AIO and fans to control lighting but no idea about individual LED and brightness Found the new CoolerMaster ARGB Controller A1 allows control of individual devices even if they are daisy chained but not sure if it will work with other brands
Can you mount the rad on the outside with the fans on the inside of the case for a pull config please? Meaning, do the rad hose barbs prevent screwing in the top fan? Very informative vid, thanks 👍
i dont think that would work as well because you dont have any push fans, which do most of the work leading to worse temps id assume. also just mounting the fans on the inside for a video is a bit of a waste of time
Short update, mounted the coolers on the inside for a pull config since it allows for much easier dust cleaning. Push is nice but when you inevitably get dust pads between the coolers and the rad, you have to disassemble the whole thing for cleanup, whereas in a pull config I just lightly vacuum the surface of the rad with a brush and I'm done 👍
@@DTXGaming nice, thanks for replies, hadn’t even thought of the filters! We had no space to fit the rad and push fan configuration in the case, so had to go for rad/pull. After a bit of research it seems as though with certain heat exchange/ rad styles you don’t get even cooling due to the air taking path of least resistance (around the sides rather than across the entire surface). However, the radiator we used is in a case and the fans now have a gasket seal to the rad case. Temps looked good.
hello there, seems that your mobo hv a 3 pin for the pump header but mine came with 4 pins both on cpu_fan & cpu_opt. can i know what is the solution for my problem ? looking forward on installing this aio. my mobo - B550 aorus elite v2
Hahaha you're so done with the questions that you spent two minutes clearing as much as possible 🤣 great video as always.
lol that gamers nexus disclaimer was great
We have this FAQ section on all of our installation guides
Another sick AIO that you won't get in SoUtH aFrIcA until a year later :(
but man you walk so we rookies can run with these installation guides

The intro is great showcasing the pc build when finished

Never
I used to see leaks with the first Master Liquids way back when the first ones were coning out.
Your intro track is very very Mass Effect
I have just replaced my Cooler Master ml240l v2 for this cooler and it is godly with the cooling and RGB.
Mind blown. So you actually CAN mount fans in the P400A in the front and still be able to close the panel.
If you hated this video, hit the dislike button twice! 😂 Love it.
i'm expecting to get my Cooler Master next week, thank you for this video
love the video. thanks for the details. Love the cyberpunk style music with the lighting demo at the end so much
hot tip is gold !! always had problems with these type of mounting, thank you !!
14:46 Are your kaleidoscope transitions completely custom? That was insane!
Great installation guide. Love from India ❤️
that looks awesome makes me want to build a pc using coolmaster items
great editing as always
What a god with the questions 😂

Is this compatible with my 1997 Honda civic?
Nice guide. First time watcher shopping around.
Thumbs up.
Oh and I'm with you, cooler master need to get their sh*t together with masterplus. These MF120 halo have a lot of potential wasted because of it.
hi, could you please do a review how this 360mm AIO compete to other AIO, because I want to buy it but I have to be sure about the temps
Huh they gave a 6 pwm 6 argb hub for the ml360L v2. Wonder why they switched that out because that hub was mighty useful

Pre ordered 🤩
Repeat! This will not kill your pump, love it 😍 all questions answered!
This is the same as the ML360R video, I actually used that video for my build.
Nice video! which way is the fan blowing? Blow into the case or outside the case?
Best video explication.
is it better to put the radiator on front than on top?

got here in 4 mins of the video being uploaded
Unfortunately my cooler had parts missing. The buckle with these thumb screws are gone so I have no idea what to do now
nice, what about the temps? planning to buy one but just want to know if its worth it. :) Thank you bro
I REALLY hope they sell this cooler in New Zealand. Coolermaster are damnnear MIA here. Wish they'd also make the damn mounting hardware BLACK.

Really nice cooler, 👌 I'm on the 240 cooler master , is there a 240 version, if not I'll maybe upgrade to the 360 when I change my case 😀
I have ML240, I am using the fans as exhaust. Should we use these fans as intake?

that plastic where you mount the brackets? they are brittle

Can I connect the water cooler pump cable to the TD500 Mesh case controller and then connect the controller cable to the pwm cpu opt connection?
Putting the fans in that direction aren't they take the inside air??
what if we use it on a mobo with a 4pin RGB header, will it work as ARGB or RGB only?
i have a question here.
I have an old Asus Z170-k mobo and it doesn't have an ARGB header.
can i connect just the USB header to the mobo, and be able to control the lighting using aura sync? thanks.
Do i have to buy a controller or something because i have the same aio but 6 more fans from cooler master
Any word if they fixed their RGB software, or is it still bad?
is there enough slot on the controller/splitter to mount 2x MF200r front fans another MF140 Halo fan as an exhaust fan?
So this cooler is better for Intel CPU's rather than AMD?
Nick loves cooler master and aorus
But I used an ROG board in a Phanteks case for this video?
Why should I wait to ask questions?
is there a way to rotate the logo i have on and mine looks crooked

What about pump speed? I searched for a long time but it doesn't appear at all, official website too.
i have no AIO pump or cup opt! where do i plug it in now? need help asap @Gear Seekers
How do I know when to stop tightening the pump?
Was wondering if it was possible to add additional RGB fans to this rgb controller, and how many total you could use with it? Thanks
yes
Is that how videos work? they aren't interactive?
My RGB turns on when I start my computer but when it gets to the profile part it shuts off. Idk what’s happening, can someone help?
Thanks
