Really appreciate your video. Although not an exact match the instructions you provided really helped me to install the set I bought with pretty much no issues.

YES! I think they redesign the crash bars. They deliver them now with four silent blocks. Before the crash bars where directly mounted to the engine block. So there must be a reason for that change. That change happened 2 month ago

Someone bought the first design and cracked thier engine case. Wunderlich paid for a new engine which cost $18k .

Don't fancy using third party engine or frame bolts to replace the existing OEM. If i drop the bike then will use the insurance to cover the damage if necessary. If i drop the bike at speed then engine or frame damage possibility may be increased as a result of using protection bars, bobbins and the like.

Great product however I would advise to attach the protection tape to the rad hose before installation.

Have you improved this product's design recently? I have heard of an individual who purchased your engine protection bars and had his local dealership install them. He returned to the dealership a week or so later, citing an oil leak. As it turned out, the oil leak was caused by damage to his engine case (a crack) which resulted from undue stress placed on it by the mounting of the protection bars. As a result, his bike ultimately required replacement. This information came to me through a third party but I believe the source to be reliable.

St Hr that is why I don't fancy direct mount on the engine block on any bike

i had on my cbr 600 mounted rg mushrooms and after an accident the right mushroom had pressed the block of the engine ending in crack.I was lucky because I could fix it and mushroom saved the frame but i would advise only sliders replacements in the place of stator and clutch plates. It is less protective but it has the less crash impact problems on both frame and engine.Remember an engine you can fix or replace it but a frame once you hit your bike is a write off!

Andrés Padilla that’s good enough to stop me buying this product 😳

Is there any cutting of the right side fairing required, like with the Givi bars?
And what about these comments about not mounting them to the engine block? The video only shows two silent blocks being installed.
