If there's one thing I genuinely enjoyed about Ace Combat Assault Horizon is that they finally gave us a voiced protagonist. This is the closest that we're gonna get, and giving Trigger the Razgriz F-14 was a nice touch. Holy shit you saved Wit!
I wish Assault Horizon didn't have the wacky dog fighting... It really did have a lot of cool aspects. Thanks! It felts like a good opportunity... Plus they had so many references to AC5.

Personally, I like to think that instead of that, which is also a nice headcannon, that Mobius 1 became an instructor and Trigger was his student, maybe even his protégé. Would be an explanation on how Trigger's natural talent got cultivated and allowed him to perform to the levels he did, even though at the start of the game he was just a rookie who had just been transferred to his first real squadron. As we all know, experience is the most valuable asset to a pilot and that was something that Trigger was only able to acquire throughout the war/game, yet he still beat Mihaly, who, while he could be argued to not be in his prime, was flying an experimental aircraft with a flight suit that enabled him to bring out his best capabilities, with what is likely a difference of total flight hours an order of magnitude inferior to Mihaly's flight hours. I shudder at the thought of Trigger being called into action again in another war after his experiences in 7 and whatever other activities they get him up to in between (making him a base commander and having him test experimental aircraft sounds just like the perfect thing to keep him sharp in times of peace). He could possibly even take the Grim Reaper title for himself from Mobius 1, considering the fact that his body count is in the thousands.
To be honest, Trigger mentioning the Ghosts of Razgriz in the beginning of the video kinda reminds me of my headcanon where Blaze is actually Trigger's aunt (yes, female Blaze is better imo) So in my eyes, it's good to see Trigger mentioning a family member. Edit: Holy shit, talk about dedication! you even put the Razgriz skin on the Tomcat! I can see Auntie Blaze and her waifu Nagase looking down from Pilgrim 1. Yup! Blaze was a huge inspiration to Trigger. I like to think Trigger had something to do with the declassification of the Circum-Pacific War events, but who knows!
Gotta hand it to you, ya pretty much went all out on this one, Razgriz F-14, Ravens getting lines, instead of gunning down the enemies easily, going for the missiles and giving Zip a role, saving Wit and some aftermath lines during credit Pretty much enjoyed it, Nice work

It took me a while to get back tothis series, but man am I glad I did!!! Love how it all panned out! Half of me thought you were gonna use the starfighter for the last mission, but a Razgriz tribute is more than welcome!
Yeah! I think it turned out okay! In an alternate reality without Zip, I would imagine that Trigger would have used the A-10, and ultimately the F-22 for the final mission, but this felt right. Thanks for the comment!

Since you said Andrew is Blaze....i'm now hoping when you get to AC5 to frame it as sort of a flashback with Blaze helping Trigger get over some final hangups from the lighthouse war. (maybe even have trigger commenting on things in gameplay) (thought it might conflict with the split missions (unless you hand wave it as those were done as well))
Hoooooly crap you did it. I am uncertain how you managed to make such a cool ending to this story, and headcanon for that matter. Having Trigger end up as a potential base commander, playing chess with old grandpa archangel, and of course my personal favorite, having Solitary meme man get court martialed. I don't have much to say in the negative, so I'll simply state that this entire series has been a blast to watch. You my good sir have a talent for writing and it damn well shows. Well, Trigger would be Blaze's younger brother. It's unlikely, but maybe. XD I imagined it would be just a random F-14, but who knows? The idea is that Trigger visualized himself as Blaze, since he has the livery number of 016.
