As a person who plays Phighting (Also mains skate) I have a few tips and infos on Skate. 1. His trick can deal 5 damage, abuse this for maximum damage. 2. Off-Board Q has 2 different damage type (Initial 15, Lingers 10.) Shake your screen to guarantee to land the maximum blow. 3. Subspace isn't that great of a counter to Skate if you think about it. (Only subs M2 and Ult can force skate offboard which skateboard can easily avoid if hes good enough, Q if skate for some reason stays in the poison zone for its entire duration.) I'd say AOE, Crowd control and KB phighters are more a threat. 4. Dont hesitate to stay off the battle zone to regenerate your shield. 5. Target low HP players, Skate's role is to flank and put pressure into enemies.
Yeah you are right about other people being bigger threats than subspace. Katana and Banhammer can be especially difficult due to their high health pools and the ability to outdamage you both on or off the board if they can time their attacks right. Not to mention they can both knock you off your board.
@@levisiqueira745 I don't play skate or boombox, but that does make a lot of sense. Boombox is pretty good at hard to hit enemies that are nearby, along with negating chip damage quite well.
OMLLL IM LEARNING HOW TO MAIN SKATEBOARD IN MOBILE AND I REMEMBERED YOU EXISTED 😭😭😭 TYSM ONCE AGAIN!, 3:30 oh and abt this… his max speed is NOT 40. i’ve reached like 60 if you trick right after your ult soo yea and some tips i’d like to add: 1. if youre on low hp and got offboarded, always attempt to use mobility abilities to get away until your E resets. 2. even if it isn’t a crowd, holding E to get off your skateboard can help killing a single person (on low hp preferably). i wouldn’t get off my skateboard in crowds since it increases the chances for me to die 3. slightly similar to the last one, use your ult at full hp. the windup is long and can get you killed if you perform it at 50hp or less 4. to help with the last one’s problem, in your ult’s windup (after the animation) you can prees m1 to perform it faster. if your targets moved from the spot, you can leave the windup to aim at them again (i explained myself really badly there lol) 5. i recommend using your phinisher at ALL times on crowds, even if their hp is full. your team will help take them down, specially with the 2-second stun

Finnaly, a skate board guide. Actually, i noticed your user, and i was playing medkit, i didnt know i saved you, but W gameplay, even with my ace phigter, i couldnt win with someone with those skills XD
This is pretty well-known I think but a tip for skateboard users is to have high sensitivity as you’ll need it for catching yourself on ledges and stuff, especially when using it to trick off the same ledge multiple times in a row.
highest speed is NOT 40 u can even get up to 60 without ultimate by doing tricks off edges at the points where you can perform a trick but it doesnt give you the speed boost from the previous one

His aoe dmg can be very dangerous i have killed and hit alot of skates just by pressing q and m2

Did you know if you use m2 and then jump in the air it'll do a trick thats why its good if you use Q and m2 after on board
