Benevides already has a contractual agreement to a fight. You can't just jump off one fight to go fight another fight just because... boxing does not work that way

They train to box. It's a very physical sport and there's punching involve. Injuries will happen from time to time. Relax. Does not mean they won't fight just means delayed or postpone for a later date or time. 😅😂

I was watching one of Beterbiev's intense training videos a few days ago and I suddenly remembered Dimitry Pirog screwing up his back so bad training he had to retire. I sure hope his knee heals up.....a ruptured meniscus is a serious injury.

It's a bad movement. the feet is stick on the floor and the knee turn... It can happen to everybody , No proof it's related how he is trained.
This proves that he's trying hard to match Bivol's tremendous speed and extremely fluid movement despite of his old age. Bivol is pretty difficult to be cornered on the ropes.

I can't believe people are getting mad at Beterbiev for getting injured but when Fury gets injured, no one says anything. Everyone is claiming Beterbiev is doing steroids and needs more time to get off a supposed "cycle" but I just think he actually got injured and can't fight. He has never tested positive for any major banned substances in any of his fights and seems like a chill dude who just works hard and is devout in his religion like Khabib or Islam Makhachev from the UFC
Fury got criticized as well. He was also accused of ducking Usyk.

Artur seems to keep getting into injuries lately. Same thing happened with Yarde, then the jaw surgery with Callum smith. I say this respectfully but bro's getting old. hope he recovers, and should he win, retire, or go win a belt in Cruiserweight then retire.

This is the outcome when a great fighter like beterbiev used to be a beast then all of a sudden at training camp as not supposed to be he is injured prone due of his Father Time as he aged now! After surgery of Arthur I do think positively he would not the same he will be 40 if the move in another schedule against still his prime peak younger dmitry bivol! This clash of unified between beterbiev vs Bivol supposedly be taken place at least 4 years ago now we saw Arthur getting injured means Father Time sought him! Sad I been waiting for this unified clash this is a fight of a decade supposedly.
It says it will take 4 to 6 months for anyone over 35 to recover. Then you got to get sharp for Bivol. Ominous.

I thought this was one of those clickbait lying boxing channels, then after being patient and watching I realized it was true, oh wow, I feel more for Bivol on this one, he loves to stay active and he finally got some rest and now he really doesn't have many challengers other than beterbiev in this division, I know people will say "david" but it's far too premature for that. Anyway not beterbievs fault either. but I knew beterbiev was over confident going into all the interviews. it's not like his persona. But ohwell rest up champ and can't wait for both fighters to be healthy!

The bigger issue is despite the injury being less serious, 4 to 8 weeks maybe less depending on how long he left it. There is nothing for bivol left except beterbiev in the 175 division. And he cannot move down or up until he reaches his goal. If they throw him a buatsi or a yarde, it will be a waste of time and he will demolish either. Heartbreaking for boxing fans!

The difference with your Mike tyson analogy is the fact tyson was messed up in his head and the mind is a mans biggest weapon, there isn't a fighter with a stronger mind than bivol right now in boxing. Even beterbiev looks emotional compared to him. But that is largely due to upbringing and influence and what you allow into your life. But if for a moment he fights with his emotions then sure anything can happen. When you get to a particular level of skills in any realm of fighting and you know how to throw a punch even without gifted power, if you make a big enough mistake, you can be knocked out. In saying that, this would be a 1% chance. If you do the odds, you will see why I see no chance of this happening. But I do understand your point too.
4-6 weeks before sport activities and 12 months he cannot make some move. +3-4 month of training... minimum January 2025 at the best.

Bertabeiv is 40 and has had multiple injuries within the past couple of years. We know Bertabeiv trains like a beast but at 40 your body's not going to be able to hold up against those rigors. If Bertabeiv does recover he should retire after this fight! His body has definitely been through alot throughout the years and it's starting to take its toll

@@nirogalactoid8398 he floored Usyk 2 times and would have won if the fight went past 3 rounds, and Usyk is way bigger and has better movement. Beterbiev's style is better longer fights, which is why long fights favour him. Bivol wouldn't have be able to keep him off for 12 rounds, but after surgery, i highly doubt he'll be recovered fully to be able to be 100%, i'm not sure how fully can you recover from such strong injuries
