Very pretty. I'm going to get one for myself. I like the fact it's not shiny, too many of the foundations lately look like women have Vaseline on their face. This has just enough glow to it.

Great review!! I just got back from Europe. I got this right before my trip after only having tested it out for one day because I did carry on only and was having a liquids crisis. I was super impressed. It was hot and 90% humidity where I was and there was a lot of sweating and outdoor activity involved. It held up surprisingly well. I used a sponge.

Yeah Shelly we watched the same video of Marlene!! I did take note of the setting spray she used on her décolleté! I wouldn’t do that without an excellent setting spray!

I am impressed w/how this Fenty stick is performing for several of my favorite YT channels( yours is one of course 😊), on seemingly all manner of skin types, ie: oily, dry, textured etc..... I haven’t worn a stick style foundation since, wait for it.........Max Factors’ foundation stick from late 80’s/early 90’s- yes shellie, I’ve got a few years on you, I’m 52! I love your humor, ur dedication to the love of makeup, and most obviously- the CATS 😻😻😻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😻👏🏻 Yes, yes, I’m here as much for the kiki’s as I am the makeup! I've been wearing the Fenty stick to work A LOT since I got it and it is all around great. Super fast and easy to blend and lasts well. I'm shocked really.
Beautiful. I love the shade, the finish, and how it looked especially in outdoor lighting.
I want to try this one for its silky smooth finish. Also, I'm so glad Ziva made her appearance. She's almost achieved costar status😅

That finish is gorgeous, even in the daylight check-in! I'm impressed. I can't think of a stick that truly degrades gracefully, so can't ding it too much for that. This would be a good travel option for an event like a wedding etc. Another Big Story here is your brows! Those are the 80s/90s supermodel brows we love! I didn't think I needed any more Jones Road, but I might have to try that brow gel--if I do, I will for sure write to let them know that your channel is the reason. Have JR sent you any of their new lip pencils in PR? Hope so! Looking forward to the Hourglass review.
I have been so curious about this as their eaze drop was the only skin tint (besides the wet n wild) that I really liked out of the bunch that all came out! I have really loved the Basma stick (except it broke) which opened me back up to stick foundation after years of not great experiences! Thank you! Love your hair❤

this looks great Shelly but the only reason I won't be trying this is because it looks like there is barely an inch of product in the packaging!
That's the one bummer with sticks (and cushions) - the prices are the same for such a tiny amount of product relative to a liquid bottle. I should've started a "use count" on the stick to see how many wears I get out of it. But I've worn it a ton to work the past few weeks so I'm deep already lol.

I was in the kohls Sephora this morning and almost bought this, but they ended up not having all the shades. The sales girl also said the coverage was as light as the drops, which I wasn't happy about, but this felt so smooth and seemed to cover more than the drops. Well... I always prefer to order Sephora on line anyway, the sample selection is better.
I had to replay that to make sure I heard right… you said you got some colour in Ireland!! I’m in Ireland and we usually have to go on holiday outside of Ireland to get any colour!! 😂

I just tried MOB because of you and I’m going to have to try this one too. For oil stains try using Dreft stain spray. It’s a line of baby detergent but I have used the stain spray on my clothes for years now, and much more than on my son’s clothes. Douse it liberally and work it in a bit, wash it, dry it flat and not with heat. If the oil doesn’t come out in the first pass, spray and wash again!
I'm going to try this. I'm experimenting with liquid/cream foundations and this looks like exactly the kind of formula I'd like. Thank you!
Cat bite/cat scratches -- Apply a little benadryl cream to the holes. It stops inflammation and itch and the injuries heal faster. Cat housemate to cat housemate. 🙂

Have faith. I made it through and now I put on a THICK LAYER of Tretinoiin EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. No flakes, no irritation (I mean, unless i cleanse with a bamboo washcloth a little too zealously.) Anyweay, I thought I'd never make it, thought Tret wasn't for me. That I would have to lay out for whatever the other stuff is that is SUPER expensive. I don't remember when or how it happened, but my skin finally either just snapped to, or wait, maybe it was when I abandoned all experimentation and just used my LRP Toleriane Cream (Dermallergo) oh, the great leveler. My skin be so HAPPY now!
In the future for kitty abuse.... cleanse, neosporin or bacitracin... ARNICA GEL BEFORE the antibiotic ... will keep the swelling down and lessen any bruising ... and also helps to heal.
I always seem to get clawed on the face somewhere right before an important event... so I know this drill well!

Correct! And I've been wearing the Fenty stick to work a lot the past couple weeks and it has been fantastic (even using it as concealer).

Hey Shelly! This stick foundation just might get me to try that formula after many - MANY! years of avoiding them. Ever since Max Factor's PanStik days, which I used to cover rosacea bc green color correctors didn't blend well and left me looking like Lily Munster...then I learned about better skincare products and techniques that didn't inflame my skin from the getgo...One question: Does that Fenty stick have any fragrance? I still have the rosacea, and it hates fragranced products. Love the video!
It doesn't have fragrance listed in the ingredients and I don't notice any when I apply it, so my guess is you'd be good. It's a pretty minimal ingredient list though it does have some natural extracts.
I also have rosacea, and I just picked up and tried this stick and noticed no fragrance.

What do you think about this versus the iconic London tint?
I like both but I've been wearing this pretty much nonstop to work since I got it (the past 3 weeks or so now) and it has been fantastic. I'd say the coverage is a little higher on the Fenty, similar in finish.
My life is also flakes. Hahaha
The foundation looks good, held up well.... Curious if anyone has tips for the polka dot pores.. Any primer or foundation application/product tips to help reduce the issue.. I exfoliate and have a decent skin care routine... It is a frustrating issue and severe for me at times.. I have found elf hydro primer and wet n wild dewy photo focus foundation is a good combo it just doesnt last as long as Id like it.. Maybe 2 hr wear time? I havent found a good setting powder or spray that helps it just gets cakey with powders.. The sprays almost seem to fade the coverage of the foundation..
I wish I had a solution and I'd love if anybody has suggestions!!
How did the Jones road brow gel hold up?
It's awesome. It's my new go-to :) The only consideration is to be sure not to over-apply it because when I've got too much of it in my brows, by the end of the night I can get flaking like a mascara. But I've figured it out now so that hasn't happened in a long time. I apply a few strokes then switch to a clean spoolie to prevent applying too much product.
Can you try the new MAC foundation?
Just filmed it! (No surprise - it's lovely - but my usual shade is way darker!! That was a sad surprise).
Can anyone tell me if the tube can be rolled all the way down? I am worried that I will ruin the top by closing it. I was so bummed because I found my perfect match with the drops in shade two but the drops were just too messy for me so I’m considering trying the stick. But I am disabled, and I am worried that I will ruin the top of the foundation when I go to close it with the secondary top. Also, have you tried Fenty’s Foundation what did you think of it and what was your shade since we are twins in the Eaze drop formula? Thanks for any help you can give me. I love this channel!
Mine goes back down enough to put the top on without touching it.

I get confused between the shades „fair“ and „light“. What is the difference?
Fair is typically the lightest shades (so, lighter than light). Light would be darker than fair but lighter than medium or tan.
