- The MG Cyberster is a two-seat electric roadster expected in Ireland this summer, priced in the region of €70,000. I was in Dublin this week for an exclusive preview.

Seen this today at the NEVO show. Stunning car. Not very practical for Ireland do.
I’d take it with standard doors!
Great review I love it.🍀🍀🍀
Thanks Keith!
Its nice but scissors doors wouldnt do it for me. Also is the price a little heavy, thinking in comparison to mx5 ....or is this on a different segmemt? Either way its nice to see someone making a fun looking ev sick of the SUV trend. Look forward to the review proper.
Yep I hope they offer standard doors because these would be very impractical in real life. It’s a good deal bigger than an mx-5 and will be more powerful so it’s not an affordable lightweight roadster. Look forward to a drive at some point
Its not the same segment. This Mercedes SL segment or F Type dimensions. People need to stop comparing it with MX5. Its not trying to be
With the doors you can park up next to the wall where you wouldn't be able to get in. Also summon function allows you to pull it out of the space to get in.
They forgot to finish off the MG logo on the steering wheel
Interior colors are good, but the bad this only EV not hybrid
Will they let you take it around mondello for a few laps ? ;)
Not this weekend but I’ll ask nicely for the summer 😀🚘🔥👍
Mad money
A bargain given the performance, technology, and design. Great value. Compared with equal gas competitors it's head and shoulders better. Hence I've got one on order.
Dad had a MGB 1965 roadster British racing green lots of memories me and my Dad going to meets somehow I think those times will never come back for MG 😢
Nice memory for you. I think the days of the combustion engines sports car are numbered but the classics will live on and we could see synthetic fuels taking over or hydrogen combustion engines 😀
@@changinglanes_ie it’s a sad reality Caroline but the fact of the matter is we simply don’t have the infrastructure to support EV cars and probably won’t for many years until our current government pulls there useless fingers out 😉
Great review. I love it. Happy its not built in Birmingham (-:
Thanks for watching!
do you need to read the Manual for use it
Sorry but for me this is not a MG , its someone else nice car with money to use the MG logo
MG went bust. Finito. SAIC saved them. Its not original MG but times have changed. Adapt or Perish thats evolution
@@blademanx I understand what you mean and I don't want to be incorrect in any way but I couldn't disagree more, you assume that there was a rescue but that wasn't what happened at all, you say it's evolution but at the moment the mg doesn't exist to be able to evolve, It's just marketing tricks

This is by far the best product to ever adorn the MG badge. On all fronts, performance, design, quality etc. I huge step forward from the "MG of yesterday".
I don't dispute that, that's not my point
