    Thanks, great guide.
    Btw, if your model has a DVD/CD Drive, you have to pull the DVD/CD drive right out and unscrew two screws that keep the base attached to the board.

      Also, if your model has a CD/DVD drive, you're on the wrong video. I have plenty others with the right model most likely. :P

    If I have this same exact model computer should I go with a W.2 SSD? My original HD seems to work, but this computer has always been crazy sluggish when just doing casual internet surfing, even after restoring system. Figured it might be worth a last ditch effort to bring my PC to life.

    Is there a way to set the SATA so that the HDD goes from disk 0 to disk 1 in Windows 10 and a newly installed SSD into that SSD slot becomes the new disk 0? By default after installing the SSD in the SSD slot, it becomes disk 1 while the HDD remains as disk 0. Thx!

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  3 роки тому

      No, it's determined by where it's connected, but don't worry, it doesn't affect anything.

    Can the hdd drive be replaced with and 1tb ssd or is it specific?

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  2 роки тому

      Yes, it also supports an m.2 SSD if you want a regular SATA drive, this is best. amzn.to/3iFjSaN If you want a faster drive this will work. amzn.to/3logFOV it connects to the right of the battery, but you'll need a screw to hold it in place.

    how long does the battery lasts??
    actually my inspiron 5570 is like 1.5 years old and is showing false battery percent... i mean I can use it at 0% for reasonable time.,. which shows that there is software not a hardware issue. please guide how to deal with this issue

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  3 роки тому

      No idea. I don't own the computers. Drain to 2%, then charge completely and repeat twice.

    • @xxDarkGregxx
      @xxDarkGregxx 3 роки тому

      Sounds like you need to "train your battery." Kinda like he said, you gotta cycle the battery & try to emphasize in the single digit percentage. Let it die out past 0% a few times & recharge completely. May just be calibration with battery life.

    • @xxDarkGregxx
      @xxDarkGregxx 3 роки тому

      My homie showed me you could "train" batteries to last longer when in battery saving mode in lower percentage. After a few cycles of full death followed by full charge may fix it.
