Comme Des Garçons Homme x New Balance 1906R "White": Review & On-Feet

Comme Des Garçons Homme released two colourways of the New Balance 1906R late last year, one of which I'm reviewing today. The "White" colourway features white mesh with genuine leather overlays, contrasted against a solid black midsole and heel cup. Utilizing more premium materials than usual, are these worth the significant price bump? Check out my video and decide for yourselves!

1906R is a great sneaker. I wore it to walk a trade show for 3 days and 25K steps each, I survived without any issues. The shoes did suffer a little bit of separation between the mesh and the outsole in the right forefoot but nothing a bit of glue won't fix.

the 1906D White/Turtledove is a great alternative which also share similar mono tones and also uses leather paneling like the review here.

Love them 🔥🧼!! When I bought them last year I was undecided between the white or the black pair but i ended up getting the white ones and it was the best choice . Yes they were pricey but worth it with high quality materials.

I have a wide foot and this seems to be a narrow silhouette and I'm stuck at an odd shoe size because there's no half size between 12 and 13, should I go with the 12 or the 13 or just skip the shoe all together, normally size 12

Weird question maybe, what is more comfortable 2002r or 1906r, I know they have the same midsole, but the 1906 has an Ortholite insole, some like some don't any differences I should know before purchasing one of the two

I have both, it honestly depends. If you want just plush ultraboost-like feel, 1906 is the way to go. If you’re going for a very soft but just enough support feel, 2002 is the move

You have a true size of US 10.
Tell me, please, what is the length of your largest foot in cm (or inches) (for example, if you lean your heel against the wall and mark the end of the longest finger on paper or on the floor)?

i’ve never measured my foot in cm, but i use a brannock device at shoe stores and my big toe hits the “10” line

​@@SeanGoDo I understand correctly that when measuring on a Brannock device, your largest finger stands directly on the "10" line, that is, on the very border of the sizes US 10 and 10.5 (the space behind the "10" line already refers to the size 10.5)?
