I have to admit it, I was wrong. I thought Aljo would win by heavy-duty wrestling but with accuracy and precision of that punch was one of the most beautiful shots I've seen. Congratulations, new fan from Ireland. O'Malley is a very old Irish warrior clann name in Ireland.
Congrats!!! As someone who's been training for way longer than I care to admit, I knew there was something special about Suga Sean since the first time I saw him fight.
Been saying we’d be here Sug. All the ones who watch this week to week didn’t doubt it! Feels good to be at the top, now time for the first defense! Welcome to the Suga Show. To Mr Tim Welch you deserve that belt just as much with the journey you’ve had in this space. Let’s ride boys!🎉
so happy to see. I have never been so nervous watching a fight, then you shocked the world brother. you and Tim deserve the world.
I knew this would happen one day and I had full faith that you could pull it off. and you did it! I even predicted on mma gurus Chanel a 2nd round ko..
lets fucking go boys the sugar show takeover
hahah that Henry part had me cracking up. Henry did make a reaction video. his wife thought suga would win
This time for UFC with Suga is going to be remembered for Decades. Insane fight, insane ending at the very very best of timings. Huggggeee.
HELL YES !!!! God it’s been a long wait brother but I’m so happy for you and proud of you for handling everything so well I can see you are becoming a great champion it’s been an awesome show I’ve watched since you started and it’s amazing ti see the transformation of a young hungry fighter ti a great champion you’ve definitely matured and are at the top of your game and I’m looking forward ti seeing you plow through every talent in the game bro !!! Just make em earn it dude
I remember on one of the embedded episodes when Sean was sitting on TimboSugarshow and he mentioned that "next time when we do this, there will be a belt on this table". I laughed in my mind and said sorry thats not happening sean. But here he is, proved many of us wrong. Proud of you. You deserved to win.
Tim is 3 for his last 3 in terms of giving corner advice in between rounds. Round 2 vs Yan- “Look for that left hand when he switches south paw”➡️suga drops him with left hand in SP. Round 3- “throw the knee when he ducks under your punches” ➡️ Suga cuts him with a knee in the third. First round Aljo- “don’t force anything, wait for him to come to you and make a mistake you can capitalize on”➡️ right hand from suga land. best duo the sports ever seen👊🔥👑👑
Exactly. Nobody can do it alone .
Honoured to have been there live, it was one of the best nights of my life!! Never felt an energy like that before, TD Garden was absolutely electric ⚡️⚡️
So happy for you Top G's. Congrats this is just the start of the SUGGGGAAA ERAAAAA LET'S GO!
Congratulations from the bottom of my heart Brother! U both absolutely deserve this!!! #SUGASHOW
That "don't drown" made me laugh out loud dude, well in lads both of you are fucking champs
And peep how Suga got the belt towards Tim just goes to show how much love he got for him and the way he fixed the belt was just wholesome
The CHAMP is HEREEE!! All aboard the Suga show… 🚂 Congratulations everyone involved!
This pod felt so good, like we're all here with ya boys. You did it like we knew you would. Timbo suga all day baby
LONG LIVE THE TIMBO SUGAR SHOW 🔥🔥💥✨ GOD BLESS THE TWO LEGENDS 🙏🇺🇸
Suga has people scared of that right hand and with each fight his faints are becoming more and more effective! It is a beautiful thing to see! Congrats to you, Tim, and the whole team!!
How come he couldn’t beat yan with it!
@@kevinhunt1202How come anyone you root for in bantam weight isn’t champion?
@@kevinhunt1202 Has Yan ever even been knocked down?? he is the toughest BW fs even then Suga did the most damage to him out of anyone!
@@kevinhunt1202 That is because Yan is a beast and has top 5 standup skill in the UFC. Problem with Yan is that he fights like he spars.
@@kevinhunt1202he dropped yan with it lol
I’m so glad the Suga show got it done…and in style no less! Somehow MY life feels a little better bc of it!
Belt in studio looks great. Congrats to you both.
My thoughts are that Timbo is 1 of the greatest coaches of all time! The way he helped suga grow from day 1 and seein that raw talent in champ makes me believe in visualization way more
Yeah man definitely belongs there
@@MrMleclerc was amazing to see a coach and student pull it off hats off to the Timbo suga show
Brought it home for the skinny guys, congrats champ
This is why we love Suga. "If i lost i was gonna get on here and say: well thay sh!t was easy" 😅😅
For the past 2 weeks I have been rewatching a lot of old podcasts from 2018. Watching how you were talking about what a team and mindset you are and now watching you became champ. Love you
Thanks for the winnings champ 🤙 Congrats to you.
Dude I'm SO happy for you! Been watching from Australia since you came on the scene. Congratulations, Champ!
Suga u recently made me start to full comit and follow my dreams
You're the champ 🏆
I've watched the fight 3x already. Makes me want to watch again... you didn't even flinch an eye when Sterling threw that last head shot.. legendary bro!
This is why people like Sean: he was legitimately happy that Aljo got a good paycheck from this fight. That shows his real generosity and character. But at the same time, the way Aljo lost and conducted himself like a champion was just as admirable. Congrats to both champs
Wow Suga gave tim the 50k bonus from the performance of the night, love the friendship ❤
Anyone fighting Suga: "All you gotta do is grab em" 😂
What most people don't understand is that Sean is still learning and growing as a martial artist. He's always improving and putting in work to grow his skills. Sean also stopped two shots from Aljo which is the best to do it.
Listening to JRE mma show #30 w/ omalley and tim welch in 2018 on a long drive back home... i just cant believe he did it 👑🎊
Suga Show is the only fighter to never lose me a bet! 5-0 in bets on this dude. Love that guy. 😂
Lol I bet he wins against marlon make that 6 and 0 real quick
@@crystaltisckos5457 straight to the bank if he ends up fighting Chito next
@@mave734 I really want to see that Chito fight, first one was such a fluke
Chito kicked his leg and then knocked him out with elbows lmao hes a bad match up for Sean
@@Caygill-co3nx Chito hasnt looked the same the past couple fights. He looked decent vs Pedro but Cory just tore him up not too long ago. Ill take Suga in that rematch all day.
I first seen O’Malley at 248 on the undercard of my other favourite fighter Izzy, ever since then they’ve both been my 2 favourites, now they’re both champs at the same time, what a time to be alive
My English is bad ,but I wanna say the same thint
So much respect for Tim. Not only is he an amazing coach he's a great friend. Well done boys.
for the jobins champ that was legendary what an inspiration
The feeling these 2 mfs have right now is what life is all about
“ he probably punched a hole like real low on the wall” , why can’t I stop laughing at that haha
My brother said he wished he would be been recording me when we watched it. I ran around screaming like a chicken with its head cut off. Welcome BACK to the Suga Show
Fire pod. Congrats champ. 🔥
Use this as the SUGA = GOAT button!!!
Suga is literally living the UFC career mode with restarts on
We did it champ. Never been so emotional for a ufc fight. I’ve been here for 4 years now listening to podcast every week. So proud❤
Heck yeah dope, me too great peeps
We?
We lmao 😂
you guys have been killing it, I've been following you for years Sean and I'm not surprised that you got to where you are. Keep it up homie!
So glad to see Suga getting his moment after all the doubters and nonsense! 💯👏
Suga congratulations you’re that guy. It was truly beautiful watching Tim being so happy, even the replays on nelk he was glowing. Goat team and welcome to the SUGA ERA till 2035
CONGRATULATIONS CHAMP!!!! WE LOVE YOU IN MEXICO 🇲🇽 🇲🇽 Mr Elastico Ooomalley !!
I think it’s hilarious how candid Sean is about how he’d fight pretty much anyone but Volkanovski 😂
He said he fight Topuria😂 like if its an easier fight😂😂
@@TheCeembee Topuria is definitely a better matchup for Sean. Topuria is well rounded, but Alex is extremely evasive and is able to go in and out so fast, not to mention he could manhandle him on the ground.
@@kurtglathar5162 Topuria is bjj blackbelt and did greco roman since he was a child. And hes veery good on the feet. And hits like a truck
@@TheCeembee oh he’s no joke for sure, and would probably beat Sean to be honest, but Volk is an absolute nightmare matchup. Another thing is he has the highest fight IQ I’ve ever seen, and arguably the best in the UFC. His ability to adjust mid fight is crazy. Everyone looks like a world beater until they step in the cage with Alex. Ortega, Holloway, Yair, Islam, they all looked unstoppable in the fights beforehand
@@TheCeembee Not to mention Topuria’s best wins are against Bryce Mitchell and a past-his-prime Josh Emmett who got submitted within 2 rounds by Yair. We don’t actually know how good Ilia is yet
So stoked for SUGA but dude Tim is for real insane at coaching. Maybe it’s just because he’s been working so long with Sean that they’re that in tune. But i swear man he’s one of if not the best coach in the UFC. the dude is a legend. you two deserve it all man. hard work and determination are key to success. bravo boys. enjoy the partying. I’m jealous.
Sean has such a tight group around him. They are all champions for this. Its impressive. Timbo is GOAT coach.
My buddy literally will not pick up his phone after Saturday night 😆
He was so confident Sean would get “rag dolled” I think he might need therapy at this point to accept reality 😭
