This is not about the "real Peaky Blinders" at all ! They are only mentioned as the gang, where the leader of the Brahamjams spent his teenage years as a apprentice ! Get your titles right, Real Stories, wrong title, wrong story !

So not a story about the peeky blinders, just clickbait about modern gang wars.
It's the name of a series about birmingham gangs, and they named the series (seven seasons?) after a well known gang.....which would get their own episode if I remember. And if you call this modern gang wars, then I don't know what to tell you....the series dig it's way down the decades, and that's the real world. Get with it.

@@pavelpuza2383 Kimber isn't an Irish name. Peaky Blinders were not a gang exactly it was name for criminal criminal youth, who graduated into gang life. The Brummigain Boys
The only real connection to Ireland was the time this was happening and what the police believed that attack to be.
The Sabinis, Billy Kimber, 1920's Birmingham. It looks to be about the era when the peaky blinders were also roaming the streets though. Peaky Blinders just weren't as big as they want you to believe in the Netflix series. There were bigger players out there.
When I lived in Birmingham I lived next door to some gangsters and they were most displeased when they found out that I had been mugged outside my front door one night.
They said to me that I should have come to them because the would’ve got my wallet back

This documentary is about the gang that the TV series were based on. There was an actual gang called The Peaky Blinders, but they were a 2 bit gang in comparison to what we see on TV. In essence, the producers of the show took tha name of one gang and the actions of another an combined them.
Thank youu
wrong. Billy Kimber was one of the most prolific gangsters of the era. him and some of his gangsters moved to the US and Canada and continued and then possibly moved back to England. it is unknown what happened to him but it is quite certain that he never quit. He was still murdering in the US when he moved there
Set to music - sexing up what was basically just a bunch of thugs & sociopaths who use violence as their modus operandi.
@@ejbh3160 sounds like an decent analogy of the goverment
They actually based most of it on stories that the writer was told by relatives as he grew up in Birmingham.

Not even close to being the same.
Marcia is an absolute tower of strength, such a powerfully positive person.
Its just sad her message wont change anything she doesn't have the power to change the socioeconomics involved
The way she puts her experience across is brilliant. She doesn't tell them what to do, let's be real the kids would naturally rebel. She gives them the information and treats them like adults when she tells them it's down to them to decide. It takes a strong person to turn pain into something positive.

What is enlightening to me is the physical descriptions accompanying the mug shots. These guys were between 5’2” and 5’6”!
They were undernourished.
A lot of working class people were smaller then, lack of food, no social security system like now. If you didn't work you could starve to death very quickly
I read a book about the gangs of New York (the ones who Scorsese based his film on) and they were the same, all around the five and a half feet tops mark. Everyone was poor and undernourished back then in the places where these gangs flourished.
Don’t underestimate us short folk. I’m 5’2

Why jump back and forth from the 1920's to the 1990's.? What! not enough research done to do a story on each.? Shallow entertainment when there must be a lot more details to uncover.
