FACTS
The thing I'd be most excited to see in a potential remake is how new lore and concepts would be incorporated into the story. One of those being an explanation on who Shirou was before the fire, more specifically his family. Muramasa metinoned that Shirou could be a descendent of his which creates alot of interesting ideas and routes to explore for him and Archer.
I'm reading a fanfic that uses this idea of Shirou being the descendent of Muramasa. It's super awesome.

As suggestion for a Remake of Fate route, i would likes to see a different situation with Caster, in that she manages to stabs Saber with the Rule Breaker and enslaves Artoria.
But unlike in UBW, in this situation, Saber, by her newfound loves toward her Master, she will resist enough the Command Spell to avoid injures Shirou during the battle, allowing him to fights Caster to rescue Saber.
Adding that in her arrogance, Medea instead to uses a second Command Spell to fully submit Saber, she will simply fights Shirou by herself, as manner to taunts Saber to forces her to see as she kills Shirou without Saber can do anything.
But her arrogance proves be her undoing, because while she has the upperhand in most time of the battle, in a surprising maneuver, Shirou manages to sever Caster's hand with his projection of Caliburn, setting free Saber from Caster's control, and allowing Shirou to remake his contract with Saber again, making that this outcome fix their previous connection issue that was avoiding that Saber could get a proper mana source.
And regarding Caster, after flee injured and defeated, she is ambushed by Gilgamesh, who is very disgusted from her, for tried to takes "his property", making that he kills her, much like in the original version.
As someone who recently watched the original Fate/Stay Night anime, I would very much like to see a Fate route adaptation remake. I don’t think the original is as bad as some claim it to be, and there were some elements that I did enjoy.
However, I do think the Fate route can overall benefit from a new adaptation with updated animation, as well as better pacing and accuracy to the source material.
Seriously. After reading Tusikihime remake I'm sure that whatever they come up with now would be amazing.
I would like Type-moon to give it the same treatment as they did for the Tsukihime remake. By that I don't mean to bring in the same elements, but rather more content to fill in specifically for the Fate route. There could even be more screentime for each character! And tbh I think there's already enough characters in the VN, however, some characters (if I'm not mistaken) were not drawn besides appearing in Hollow Ataraxia.
Bazett, more screentime for Medusa, the trio of school girls, Mitsuzuri's brother, all of those only appeared in HA
Illya Route. Hands down the only thing needed.

Here's what I want; a proper happy ending between Shirou and Artoria where she lives her life as a human with him. They get married, maybe have some children and she gets to live the ordinary life she wanted. No bittersweet compromise, just a true, happy ending for her.
After everything she's been through, I think Artoria has the right to be a little bit selfish for once and just have a proper happy ending.

@@BygoneTI'm talking about Artoria actually being ALIVE. You know how Shioru goes out with both Rin and Artoria in the alternate Sunny Day ending? Something like that but with just Artoria and Shirou.
If they did a remake of the Saber Route anime? I'd like to see them delve into Shirou's psyche a bit more. Never made the time to play the VN, but one thing I heard about that game is it does a good job at delving into the psyche of Shirou.
You only get signs of Shirou’s twisted mindset in the Fate Route, told outright in UBW, and explored into Heavens Feel.
Besides the obvious Fate route adaptation if they were to remake fate/stay night I got a few things I'd hope to happen for UBW.
Ideally I'd like if Rin was given her own storyline by fleshing out her dynamic with Kirei and let him sort of give her an identity crisis where she has to choose between fully embracing what it means to be human vs what it means to be a mage since that's one of the major internal struggles she grows through and I feel like her dynamic with Kirei was under utilized given their circumstances. Maybe even throw in a Rin vs Kirei somewhere in there.
It would also be nice to flesh out Shirou and Gilgamesh’s dynamic in a way where the final fight between them has more weight in regards to fake vs real but in a more show vs tell sort of way which could also be implemented as an overarching storyline that’s sprinkled throughout the story.
The hard part would be trying to incorporate all that within the existing story without changing too much but that's why they're just ideas lmao
If there ever will be a Fate vn remake, I want them to update the OG servant cast to current day power levels. Cuz they have been powercrept hard.
Richard has a better kit, with or without Ayaka. Heracles got powercrept by Achilles and Orion. I can't tell how many Caster servants have pretty much surpassed Medea at this point. Cu Chulainn, the guy who's supposed to be Ireland's strongest hero got powercrept by his own alter form. Heck, even Caladbolg has been getting better showings.

I’d like a Illya route, but more so a Caster route.
Agreed. A Caster route could be interesting.
Even, maybe in this route, besides to that Shirou be who finds Medea and forges a contract with her, Caster in turn could uses Avalon within Shirou as catalyst, to summons Saber like her personal Servant, than Assassin like in the other routes.
Adding that with this outcome, perhaps True Assassin also appears in Caster route, but this time, Caster and Saber will have the chance to get a payback against their murderer of Heaven's Feels route, with Saber protecting Caster from the frontal attacks of Hassan, while that Caster supports Saber with her spells to keeps True Assassin away from her, particulary if she ends trapped again by the Shadow, yet, thanks to Caster, Saber will manages to break free from the Shadow with her Mana Burst, and both girls will think in a strategy to brings him down.
And as final point, it would be cute and funny see a date of Shirou with Caster, with Saber acting like a third wheel 😅

If its is a Fate Route renake, there are several things i hope that get animated:
1) Obviously the Last Episode from Realta Nua
2) The basement scene where Shirou confronts his path
3) The flashback of Kiritsugu dying next to Kid Shirou
4) Emiya Vs Hercules Battle
We don't need to see Emiya and Hercules fight.
At that time, absolutely nothing is known about him, except for a few clues, and he is just a nameless Archer who killed Berserker in close combat 6 times! At a disadvantage for yourself.
Berserker was so impressed with him that he wanted to fight him when he was in another class.
And when his identity was known, it would make this feat even more incredible! Emiya, who was not a demigod, but a hero who received powers from deities. He is just an ordinary person in the world of the children of the gods and those who received power from them.
That's what I always thought and always will be, we don't need to see him fight Berserker

What I want from a remake is more screen time for Sakura in all routes. Cause god damn if it weren't for heaven's feel I would have forgotten her completely
I agree so much. I would also add that we ought to see her having dreams of rider's past (why nasu kept these out is beyond me) as the parallels between the two make hf more impact full. Also, it may never happened but a rin and archer vs sakura and medusa would be awesome.
I just want expanded scenes, more lore dumb, and making the fight scenes bigger/larger... Or give people what they truly want, a Rider route!

ufotable have stated, that they won't do a Fate Remake of Saber, because the past Director of the Deen Adaption has died many years ago and they wanted to respect his work, so the decision was to only make UBW and Heavens Feel and let the Fate route be how it is. But yeah, it would be very nice.

Here's what I'd love to see. For changes, if the remake has an eroge version, make the sweet lovin's magic cres transfer between Rin and Shirou less awkward. He's trying to be gentle, but she's wants to rush through and get it over with. As for routes, a Taiga route would be fun, and for something off the wall, have a Bazette route where she fights in the Fifth HGW, and how much it would turn the war upside down. I know it's been somewhat addressed in Hollow Ataraxia, but I really would love to see how it would be with her and Cu fighting together, especially taking on Gilgamesh.
Hope is a combination of all routes as a complete story or a new anime adaptation for Saber's route

UBW & Heaven's Feel are already solid, Fate route could do some improvements, make it less bland
other than that, an additional route where Shirou learns of his lineage as a descendant of Muramasa would be great, maybe make that route have no heroines or something
I only want a few things for a Stay Night Remake. Story are already good enough, more than a remake why not just make new route ? And make a modern remaster of the originals in the same time.
First thing to fix, the Power creep of the franchise. Actually it's more for Cu and Saber, others already are strong enough (maybe let Medea summon her dragon but her actual power is enough). News route could easily fix that without rewrite the old ones.
First route I want is Illya Route (no need to make her and shirou dating.) Who could focus on Her, Heracles and Shirou. There's a possibility to show and tease the power of Heracles in other classes. Maybe Shirou could see Heracles past with the help of illya and become able to trace some of the weapons Heracles use in others class. And why not give this the Route the biggest and hardest fight. Medea could summon her Dragon, Medusa turn into Gorgon... And Cu could have a full power fight without Kirei hold him back where he would use is Riastrad to make a brutal fight.
Then for a second route I could only recommend Tachie, she was an original characters for Fate stay night but she was cut from the final product. It would be great to rewrite her to be more than Mash Prototype. This route could focus on her and Saber (who will get is full power back and fix the power creep for her). Maybe they could also put Morgan in the whole thing as a main antagonist with all her plot to recreate arthoria. That could also make possible to show Lord el Melio and Gray in this route.
I can feel that too with the localizations and translations of the nasuverse works, as being part of the brazilian community of the nasuverse, along with that we have even less works that got translated (we kinda blend in with the english community because we only have 3 anime that got dubbed and i repeat 3 fate that have gotten Dubbed in our language and all of their dubbing sucked btw those animes are Fate/stay night from studio deen, Fate/apocrypha and Fate/extra last encore with FA with the best dub even though it sounded like an fan doing an dub despite the brazilian dub in major part being so good with the localizations and funny stuff that comes out of it)
While in English you guys have almost all (or all) of fate anime dubbed and have gotten some translated works, but putting those issues aside for not getting in an deep discussion, i agree with all in the video we do really need more translated works of the nasuverse not only in english but in other languages (such as mine which is portugese), if they translated more their works the nasuverse would skyrocket in popularity and in money and turning into one of the biggest anime franchises for real and being compared to things like dragon ball or pokemon from which both have translations all around the world to everyone meet that story/game

Add a Sella, Leysritt, Bazett, Medea Caster, Rider, Ayako, Makidera, Himuro, Saegusa, Mashu and lancer Scathach route. I'll be happy with even just four of those.
Also, a route with some of those characters but with Shirou if he joined the church and was raised by Kotomine. Shirou in the field would be glorious.
More of shiro after the war becoming archer showing what he did and how after each route how he chose different ways to live with some things still being the same or none at all leading up to him becoming a counter guardian (or the full archer chant being used in battle all we hear is but a fraction of what ive seen his chant of how he is just a part of unlimited blade works )

After watching this video I reflected on 1 thing and if its a fate route remake I honestly think it can be an anime remake instead(but I ain't nasu so who knows).
What I'm getting at here is nasu can do a tite kubo(if he were to go with this) for those who don't know, bleach anime ended way back in 2012 now the manga ended at 2016, kubo decided to adapt the final arc being thousand year blood war arc last year of 2022 however in this installment kubo was very active in what needs to be adapted in the anime for instance some plot holes were answered such as how juha got pernaida. One of the major changes was the fight between the 5 royal guards vs the elite sternritter where kubo change how the fight goes as seen in season 2 ending, all in all it wouldn't be bad to see a vn remake as well but if that's the case the anime might be around 2030 lol.
Well if Nasu gana make a new fate maybe incrobarte a new conspets like mystic eyes shirou maybe even explore the idea of muramasa shirou maybe use the story of the master blacksmith and his student by river story to interduse a new oc , reinterdose Issei as martial artist Buddhist monk that investigating area because I refuse to believe the monks didn't fell off about the fire or expolre new creative way to use ubw like maybe instead using its full power maybe have shirou use it as trap like maybe make his able to shoot sword form it or maybe use ubw in the corners of closed room like imagine like those ancient tomp trap that shoot spears and arrows, the option is not the hgw but after it like waver maybe interdose Ciel and have her and shirou becoming friends and she giving him the shroud that will Cool

The best thing I would think of is adding new routes with big alternatives like between SN and UBW routes comapred to Heavens feel.
What if thay could add the route that essencially would be totaly different game like, playing with thing that people knew. What if saber survive in zero instead of Gil, What if Sakura stays in Tohsakas and Rin goes to Matoi, What if classess changes (few servants too) like f.e. Heracles Saber, Medea Rider, or Medusa Assassin.
I would that in (What if it comes) remake. Its big copium but that would be very good imo

If they do remake FSN the i would like an ending in the fate route that more closely matches how Shirou would later grow into EMIYA.
As much as I would absolutely love to have a Fate Remake it would be so fucking bawler if Nasu launched a new story, and I think he more wants to do that since he has talked about ending FGO so he can move on to other works, so I wonder if he might not want to make a remake cause he doesnt want to feel bogged down by having the fit the narrative of FSN but either way I think Nasu's Disicion will be best, better than what we can speculate, aslong as he writes what he wants to it will be peak
What i want for a remake:
- modernizing of the art stil. The old on is ok. But can look a little weird, compaired to the modern time from the anime and fgo.
- addition of the 2 missing routes. Illiyas and Shinjis route wasnt able to come into the game. It could be nice, if they would create that storys for a remake
- maybe addition of some more h-/ecchi scene: It was added for selling points. And i think, that even now, is it better to have that, for a route based game. Where you practicly choice between on of multiple girl. Why should someone play more or less the same story multiple times, without something of a reward, like the h scene. Or, at last, some ecchi scene, similary to the SAO games (with there bed scene or bath scene). For people who dont like that stuff, can they simply add the buttom, to hide that scene (similary to the realta Nue version, that you can find in the internet).
The additional scene can even combinied with the 2 addiotnals routes, that i would want.
- some animation of the action scene: The old game has it very little allready. But, its mostly a text based game. Where its sometimes hard to image, how the action would be look. The addition of some animated scene for the fights, the death scene and maybe h-scene (similarty to the school days/shiny days game) could be nice. Downside would be the raise of the age for the game (when it is not allready a 18+game).
- or, maybe a version, where one of the girls becomes the MC and can have some choices and actions
One of the things I would probably want in the remake is the endings of each route being more clear with where Shirou is in life. Reason being is that some people still seems to think (moreso of the UBW route) that Shirou will still have the same fate as Archer, with Heaven's Feel route being the exception.
Option to have the adult scene. They can't erase them. The og knows! More scene and add what haan't made it in the og game. Fully voiced would be the extreme pleasure. I would buy it. But i would prefer a remake of the fate route. I love that route do much

Honestly yeah, I would love to see a change like that since I really like Extra Shinji and I believe the potential was there for FSN Shinji.
TAIGA ROUTE LETS GOOOOO (and also Ilya, I guess) let him put the stuff he couldn't put in originally and maybe release a polished F/SN and maybe a remake that way people get the things they love but can also try the new stuff if they choose.
If we got a remake with an additional route I genuine;y have no clue where it would go. All 3 main routes cover wuite a good range on Shirou's character and how his ideals are impacted by the world around him. I 100% would not want a Oath Under Snow style route because that would be horribly depressing and we've already seen it before. One route that would be interesting to see though should follow the same path of being horribly depressing is the Archer Emiya route, where we see Archer's grail war and how that was different from Shirou's. Though it is implied that he had a pretty similar route to the Fate one. The safest thing they could do would be to do all 3 routes as they are with updated visuals and improved pacing/flow, then after completing it you get access to Ataraxia. Wishful thinking but I would really like that.
All I want from a remake of the stay night either the route in anime form or an visual novel form is just a better version of the Deen anime version and actually expand upon what the visual novel did. Maybe some interesting twists could work but not to the final fantasy 7 remake level where it completely f**** over what happened from the original source material. In other words pull a star ocean second story R, have Ufotable do it and boom, The fate route will get the best version in anime form.

You won my man
I want to see kind of a completely new start… add another mc that works with shirou and Rin. Keep the original servants and all that and add fights and situations like herc vs Emiya and a new kind of ending… I’ve been writing stuff up actually where the new mc had relations with rin when they were younger, he is very skilled with a lance and he doesn’t summon a servant but gets involved in the holy grail, teams up with rin and shirou, and he can keep his own with servants. The ending I had on it had caster summoning another servant and he pretty much wiped out caster, Hercules and lancer; he gets control over archer Emiya and final fight is between shirou the new character, Rin and saber. Then I would like it to have sequels and actually start a time line that makes sense lol. I would actually like to make my own little story but I don’t have enough knowledge over the franchise or even the resources.
In my opinion fate stay night port is likely to happen most likely. A fate route anime is not likely right now becasue they are still animated Mahoyo movie.

The last Chapter of Illya made me cry from the epicness of what was happening
My ideal Stay Night remake: rewrite Fate route ala Ciel route in TsukiRe, a lot of stuff that happens off-screen: Bazett's death, Lancer vs Gil, Archer vs Berserker, should be shown to the player so we can be fully invested, remove Sakura's rape since it's an overstatement given the violated aspect is already covered by the weird worms and also ruins anything enjoyable about Shinji, I don't really care how but we should get more info about the 2nd and 3rd Grail War i.e. some of the summoned servants just for lore purposes, show Zouken in all 3 routes, properly explain why Gil is insane in UBW and have him appear more in Fate route, for an obligatory 4th route it should be a quasi-sequel of Fate/UBW like Hollow Ataraxia where the corrupted grail appears again since we know that canonically the only route where the grail is gone for good is HF
And also remove the unnecessary nasuverse references in Heaven's Feel epilogue so proper explanation of plot points aren't handwaved with "read this other thing to find out why"
But like someone said in the comments, I would rather just get new Holy Grail War stories, anything about Stay Night has been already said and done, that's why this is just my ideal vision of what a remake would be. I'd rather Nasu be doing something better than writing for either Grand Order or Stay Night.

I hope its a stay night adaptation done right by Ufodable the source material should stay in the easy so localizers don’t woke it up with the translations. Though if it doesn’t get localized by crazy woke people not giving a 💯 faithful translation to give us a perfected version by Nasus current writing would absolutely love that especially a better Saber Shirou relationship better fight and background info brought into the fold.

Zouken just hanging out at home is crazy, he had to have been cooking something, in Heaven's Feel when he shows up to fight is like " bruh, how'd you even get here " how the fuck did he know, I swear Zouken be deep in the cut just planning and making moves and no one even know, Sakura giving control over to Shinji must have been such a scene cuz she legit did not want to take part and she only did cuz shit had hit the fan, her H-scenes are the only ones that actually plot imo, Saber and Rin is strictly just to sell the novel and I guess if you pick them over Sak- than I guess they did their job lol

I just want a happy ending for Illya where she lives a good long life. Whether or not it ends up in an incest route I could care less. If I can't have that. Give me Shirou's worst nightmare. Illya teaming up with Archer while still having Berserker. Something along the lines of threatening to kill Sakura if she doesn't get the command seals.
I would love to get continuation of the story and I know that Ataraxia sort of does it, but I wish to see How Shirou acts and lives in clock tower.
Like he completely doesn't fit there and that clash of morality and goals could be interesting.
We could even see clock tower from different point of view and see extension of Rin x Shirou relationship, we could also see Route (if novel) of Luvia, as currently we see only fractions of her.
They could even add Bazeth route if we think about it as Ataraxia continuation, They could then add fragments where saber, rider and the rest call Shirou, visit him, have small cutscenes of what happens at home without him etc. etc.
So ... Over all I hope that they would make continuation of Ataraxia story line but with Shirou going to clock tower and if it is a novel it could have routes for Rin, Luvia, Bazeth. They could even add Ilia route if they wanted and have her go to clock tower as well (as in other routes it is impossible as she is dead...), they could force in Saber/Rider/Sakura route by having them also go there as "bodyguards" and they could be staying in or not in the clock tower.

The Fate route was the wrakest so I don't see the appeal. I read and watched the VN and the old Anime.
Shiro does not come off looking good as he spends a lot of time putting her down and saying because she's a girl she shouldn't fight. Only when things get serious and the stakes are high does he cut that out.
Don't really need to know more lore about saber and do not care about giving her a more normal life ending like I see others mention.
Anything I do like about the fate route may be ruined with a remake. Like in UBW the shiro vs Archer sword fight was ruined with big flashy displays and being spoon feed the conflict between the two.

Honestly if you are going to redo a fate route, have the focus be on Bazett and saving her. King Arthur is the ideal goal of a hero but a relationship with Bazett puts him on that path.

Sorry! but this has to pass. What is the difference between a "TRUE" heroic spirit and a "FALSE" heroic spirit. For example in Fake strange fake servants like Hercules (Alcides),Hippolyta are true heroic spirits while servants like Gilgamesh, Enkidu and No Name Assassin are considered false ones.
