This video is brilliant. I have a film essay due at UCT on Thursday and this has been great help, im definitely subscribing because god knows i need your content.
I've just come across your channel and this is a great video! I've been trying to find theorists to go along with Mad Max and have had no luck until now, thank you so much for providing amazing content like this!
I’ve recently discovered your channel and would like to show my love and support. I love everything about this channel as it is very well made and Informative ☺️
Hello!! I would just like to say your content is very helpful!! Also, wanted to ask whether you will be doing videos on the new media studies for the 2 year A-Level course which includes a range of CSP's from radio to print and more? Thank you for your help!!
Thank you so much for your videos. I've learned so many things watching them. I was wondering--for someone new in the field of television studies, what readings would you recommend as a start?
Actually I think Star Wars can be better classified as a space fantasy movie that has sci-fi elements, because it is not taking place in the same world as ours. I know it was just used as a general example though. I loved the video!
The Media Insider Great video! I was wondering How would I paragraph my question if I was given a 25 marker on magazine analysis? This is for AS media by the way
I hear critics whom I otherwise respect (such as Kermode) referring to genre films and genre film directors. I don't entirely get it because aren't 99% of films in a given genre? And if so doesn't this make the term "genre film" meaningless? Yes, of course I accept that "horror genre" or "sci-fi genre" etc are meaningful terms because they are specific, but the generic "genre film" I just don't get because it applies to almost all films. Comments welcome.
who else is watching this for a media class...

Isn't this theory used in comparative literature as well?
