Nice work. I did something very similar to this on a 1987 Yamaha FZR250 which also has a hollow swingarm except used aluminium instead of Delrin. Will watch out for your updates to see how your project goes. I’m using the QS273 17in 6kW hub motor so very interested how the 8kW one goes 👍👍👍
Consider a lower-cost set of annular cutters and a drill adapter. They cut materials like Delryn, polycarbonite, aluminum, walnut very efficiently and cleanly. Someday we want a mag-drill, which takes great advantage of them for fabrication work. For now, a good drill and an adapter work well enough.

You needed turn a litle bit more until the hub motor cable stay under the frame not from the top
