No need. Have you driven one? I have owned more than a dozen Triumphs including Spits (forgot how many, 1 presently), TR3's (2), GT6's (2), TR6's (2, 1 presently) and I think the TR7 (1 presently) is the best driving of them all. Roomiest too.
@@philtucker1224 Indeed! A 5-speed! And power brakes! And pop-up head lights (are we getting home from the pub tonight?) I'm just finishing rebuilding the motor and will say that with the exception of the water pump design (got rid of it and went electric) it really is a nice (OK "interesting") motor. I think the water pump was the root of most evils.
Nice change of pace from the Spitfire vids. It’s not difficult to see why the Japanese won over western car markets when the attention to detail was so lacking. Bad training, bad execution, bad quality control. It doesn’t take a genius to see those poppers are just in the wrong place does it? 🤦
I remember this one Elin, (it was a while before you broke your leg I think?) - you were walking a lot easier then. Stay safe buddy 🙏
HAHAHHAHA YOU DIDNT SHOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
This re-edit coincides with the Chef doing the Alfa soft top !! Be interesting how the brits and Italians compare.
And the day before the Alfa Top, I helped Elin put a new cloth top on a TR6 😉
I was thinking the same thing 😃
As a Briton, I apologise to the world for the TR7.
That may not be enough C! - ( it was really awful 😞)….
Made up for it a little bit with the V8
