Yup. With my late Chihuahua girl, Montana, she learned to give me five after two tries. Even years later she remembered how to gimme five. It took her two times to learn sit. And it only took a week to litter box train her as she hated snow and rain.

You could get some elastic and put it around the bottom of Maya’s hat and adjust it to be a bit smaller. You could also fold over the bottom making a tunnel of sorts and thread a cord through and then when she has it on tighten it to fit her head, then to remove it just stretch the hat bottom back out.
We love having you share Cedric and Maya they are both so sweet.
Cedric will be back to a chunky monkey in no time with the love from his family and of course the lamb purée.

Oh the struggle of a Chihuahua.
I love those sweatshirts! I used to have one similar but it was a little too stretchy. My girl who is about 12 lb, I think that is 6 kilos? Anyway, it would kind of bend too far forward or too far down and cause weight in the wrong places. I always thought of modifying them to have some sort of harness situation that would keep the dog up higher yet still allow the fleece to look like there was nothing on the inside lol!
I hear you, it is so hard to find the right fit for our tiny ones! Ours tend to slide down too, but somehow it makes them every happier to be in it 😆🐾🐶😉
