I seriously hang on almost every word and he lives in my imagination. i am completely amazed that he can speak and act with his voice for such a long time. I'm sure he puts enormous work into each segment.... but he makes it look or sound easy. He has no equal.
+Wes Mahan oh wow you're so superior and more worldly than me since you're capable of being dismissive and condescending of my opinions! Please don't judge me further sir! Get fucked you pretentious loser.
Actually, that is what PHC has been. Over the past 40 years I've paid good money and sat in theatres with darkened stages and nothing happening in order to be part of the collective fantasy. I'm not being dismissive nor am I condescending. I'm just sorry for you that you missed it all.
He doesn't so much perform or recite but rather shuts his eyes and channels the genius of childhood awareness and comments from where he is now.
Just spent two wonderful weeks traveling to Alaska with him and all of the Prarie Home Companion folks
Duane is my FAVORITE! Thank you Garrison for so much laughter!

I didn't know there were people who actually enjoyed Garrison Keillor. I'd assumed it was just a long-running inside joke among public broadcasters.

I didn't know there were people who actually enjoyed Tool. I'd assumed it was just a drug-induced inside acid trip among hippie wannabees.
Guess the joke is on you.
The Battle Hymn of The Republic was written by someone from the South.
