For anyone finding this video not useful... In may case I have an NodeMcu 12E and it had integrated in it a CH chip. I reinstaled the CH chip driver for my board and the code worked perfectly. The problem is that you need to do that every time you want to upload a new code...
Can you help me with this? Im using a CH340 "Arduino Uno" and LoLin new NodeMCU V3.
Thanks. It helped me solve my code upload problem. I had to use com 3 port instead of com 1. Switching port in arduino ide, solved my problem.
after trying eveything on the net.. I solved mine by reheating the IC and the whole board with a hot air gun. it seems like some of the smd pins of the ic have diconnected.. because of me handling and flexing the board while prototyping and working with it..
I had the same problem and yes this problem about bad connection with COM port. My problem was with low power on ESP8266.

Just check your circuit connectivity..
This is not the reason, please load the CH340 driver first.
The problem can arise from various reasons and may vary from user to user...like usb cable , driver issue etc

this problem is because of wrong connections circuit or remove your wires and upload the code it worked for me

Is this the same with arduino uno + esp-01s
I tried with nodemcu board. Not sure about Arduino Uno & esp 01 you may try .I thik it will work
