Karamo, you're spot on. Lagos to Ghana is about 5 to 7 hours drive or 45 mins by air; and for a Nigerian who owns a passport, movement along the West Africa region is visa free. For her to have come all the way to Ghana and the guy didn't make the effort to go see her is a huge red flag! She can't marry who she doesn't know very well. In Africa, we rarely jump into marriages until we know each other's relatives / background, and get approval from our elderly ones who bless the marriage with their prayers.

Karamo, you're spot on. Lagos to Ghana is about 5 to 7 hours drive or 45 mins by air; and for a Nigerian who owns a passport, movement along the West Africa region is visa free. For her to have come all the way to Ghana and the guy didn't make the effort to go see her is a huge red flag! She can't marry who she doesn't know very well. In Africa, we rarely jump into marriages until we know each other's relatives / background, and get approval from our elderly ones who bless the marriage with their prayers.
