That was a really nice and informative one! I'm currently using a T-1 and a Syntakt so there were lots of nuggets I could steal. After watching this I definitely think I'll upgrade to the Oxi One at some point, but I'll see how much I can get out of the T-1 first, for now.
This was super useful and fun. Thanks for sharing the tips and tricks on your workflow. I have a feature request for the Oxi team which I’ll post on the forum on their website. It would be great if it was able to support Camelot scales. A little trick I used when I’m playing tracks. Lastly, I’d love to see sound design videos of you for inspiration. Love the sounds coming out of your synths 🎉
I think that with any piece of gear it's only as good as what it adds to your workflow or creative process. @ezbot_ and I are playing live very differently, so the slight variations in our setups address those different needs and different skillsets. He's much better than I am at writing melodic parts, and his music takes advantage of that. His setup is great for that. I'm doing more random generation to create those parts live and I need more help to do that quickly on the fly and have it not sound awful. :) One of my favorite things about live hardware is how everyone customizes their rig to their workflow.
Once again great content...thank you very much🙏🙏. The trick with the offset for the CV Osc is very clever. Is it that you can only adjust this with semitone steps and how do you compensate the cents so that the tunig is correct? Have a wonderful Christmas time.
