@tumbleteach His stage presence is one of the best in magic. Watch his chop cup routine and you get the reason.

@tumbleteach Just watch some of his other stuff. He has AMAZING stage presence. These illusions just didn't call for flashy tricks and fast talking.
@richishard I disagree. He was more famous for being a comedian,although a magician he rarely did magic seriously.

inelegantly large and fiddly apparatus, compared to when he first did the impaler on TV in the mid-80s, when not a lot of British had seen it
The last illusion is ok, but this guy has no stage presence.
