It sure was! Although, I couldn’t bring myself to listen to the real one. The storyboard version was infinitely better, in my opinion. It’s a crime the fanbase was never supposed to see that version. 😂
@@ACriticalRetrospective Thanks. ^^ Although I'm definitely biased considering well umm. Bryce's singing is heaven compared to the off key songs I heard as a kid. From Thomas and friends. My poor ears suffered a lot from those songs as a kid.😅
7:59 To me "Re-creation" was like giving the middle finger to the audience who wanted the terror*st and child abuser, Gabriel Agreste, to get what he freaking deserves 😡😡😡
Im glad you put Deflegration in the top 5 since it felt like the "actual" finale episode since you had high stakes with Monarch knowing the new heroes Identities, You had adrien playing an important role in this episode unlike Recreation & Marinette & Adriens relationship is put to the test and progresses further. Monarch had both miraculous' at his disposal and lost from a close call with Plagg and Tiki's help, everyone was also on their guard and using their brains like when they captured Sole Destroyer and Marinette created a costume emphasizing her skills for fashion in a crisis like this too. The writing for this episode was underrated in my opinion.
22:57 I’ve always assumed Monarch was able to make the deduction of Luka knowing Ladybug and Chat Noir’s identities because Monarch knows Luka was Viperon.
@@kenslycarpel3140true, but to be fair kagami wasn’t as sure as luka (as he saw both of them detransform in real time) + luka as viperion is more frequent than kagami as ryuko
I’m glad you made this I haven’t checked out your season 4 one yet but I’m getting to it and all and all I can agree that emotion is the best S5 episode like felix’s song is spectacular
I'll give my own ranking. 27. Action - Pointless. 26. Re-Creation - How can you even mess up this bad? 25. Derision - Marinette has trauma since when? Now? Okay- 24. Confrontation - How irrelevant you want Adrien to be? Yes. 23. Revolution - It's not even funny. 22. Collusion - Are you kidding me? 21. Confrontation - So you gonna redeem Sabrina? Sure, whatever. 20. Representation - Why fairytale? 19. Evolution - Gabriel you absolute clown. 18. Destruction - JUST USE YOU'RE HAND LADYBUG! 17. Intuiton - I get the point but it's boring. 16. Elation - Andre I swear to God- 15. Adoration - Oh of course she has a crush on Marinette. 14. Jubilation - Emotional damage. 13. Revelation - Wait...Lila isn't Lila? 12. Deflagration - That was fast. 11. Migration - The ending ruined it. 10. Transmission - Interesting but I kind of don't care- 9. Perfection - Adrien please, never sing again. 8. Pretention - Feligami's not for me. 7. Illusion - I mean it is entertaining. 6. Determination - Adrien, seriously? 5. Multiplication - Nice. 4. Protection - Come on Kagami finish the job! 3. Reunion - Forgetable. 2. Passion - Okay Nathalie. 1. Emotion - Felix. No further explenation needed. Gosh it was hard I don't hate like 3 episodes...
My opinion on s5 episodes: 1.Emotion( the best episode of this season and one of the best from entire show. This episode show that miraculous can be more powerfull if you have a open mind.) 2.Confrontation (the animation could have been better and why they deleted Alya and Marinette s moment) 3.Pretension (loved the fight between old generation and new, Marinette vs Gabriel, Kagami vs Tomoe ETC.) 4.Passion (Passion was much better than Reflektdoll ADRIEN was like A MAIN for this episode and he ate) 5.Adoration(love this episode, it is soo underrated) 6.Reunion ( love this type of episodes, i hope we will see more of old holders) 7.Deflagration (only at 7 bc i love others more) 8.Evolution (again like in destruction take not wait, but it was better) 9.Revelation ( Lila ate) 10.Elation (love marichat scenes, and i love night episodes, the problem is that Gabriel says he wants to exploit the relationship between Mari and CN but we never see that again) 11.Re-creation(i loved 70% of this episode, they could make adrien oppose his father and try to escape (that's how I would do this episode at least) ) 12.Intution (it is down bc StarTrain and Paris Special says that Gabriel has a limited range but he akumatized Ada on space and he could speak to her) 13.Protection( another episode Nathalie carried, Adrinette too) 14.Transmission(at 1st this episode was as last but i like it more after watching 2nd time all the season in order) 15.Perfection(my comfort episode tbh) 16.Illusion ( it was a wonder to see gabriel as a thinker, funniest episode in this season) 17.Jubilation ( it is soo low bc i liked more others, loved Ladynoir moment + the new location ,i love it) 18.Destruction ( i watched this episode i think 12 times, but has problems like why they gave them both dialogs than rush made Gabriel and Ladybug weak) 19.Revolution(why people let a teen to be mayor? like she is 14-15) 20.Multiplication (Tomoe it is such an interesting character i would like to know more about her) 21.Migration( i dont like this episode, the animation in some cases is ugly, and who would sign a contract without reading) 22.Conformation (loved Nathalie and last scene from this episode) 23.Action (hated the animation but it was soo funny to watch like a s1 episode) 24.Collusion(loved the animation but idk it wasnt feeling miraculous) 25.Derision (Socqueline carried this episode) 26.Determination( didnt loved this episode, like how young bunnyx is there, who stops her bc she can travel time) 27.Representation( aka filler episode the only think i liked was CN vs Gabriel) Conclusion: 1-7 PERFECT 8-14 GOOD 15-23 OK/something missing 24-27 HATE/Delete Them keep only Determination but make the animation better and i will put between 13-17 S5 animation - I hated the most animation this season except SAMG. S4 had a better plot line than s5 by far. I love how S2 and S4 is better. S1 has iconic episodes but doesnt compare. and S3 had wow episodes but bad main plot.
It’s so amazing. I cannot stop watching it. I have lost count of how many times I have watched it. There are different interesting bits scattered through out the video so I keep going back and forth to enjoy those great moments of joy. THANKS A LOT FOR THIS HARD WORK YOU ARE DOING TO NOT ONLY ENTERTAIN US BUT EDUCATE US AT THE SAME TIME . JAK.
I understand why some don't like Representation. But I honestly enjoy it. Mostly. All I can say is thankfully Colt is dead. Because good lord. Being abused from Birth. Yeah. Felix's bitter attitude definitely makes more sense now.
1:12:28. I actually agree with @mimiquoi7380's comment about Chloe's story arc. Although its a shame that she didnt get the character development back in season 2. I believe that rather than sending the message that some people are irredemable, its more about making the same mistakes despite the chances you were given. Old and unhealthy habits are hard to change, it is a long and difficult process, and may not be a linear path upwards either. People make mistakes and sometimes a single mistake isn't enough to wake them up, so they end up making the same mistake over and over again. For Chloe, she chose to chase after the little power she can still manage over others rather than taking the harder path to admit that she has done many wrongs and she should try to become a better person. I agree that the writers did write Chloe into becoming dumber, but she's still a 14 year old girl with hardly anybody to turn to for advice or support. She looks towards her parents and her mother especially as the only source of authority figure to emulate and has lived her entire 14 years of life trying to be like them, be a powerful and influential person others respect just like them. I know its probably unlikely for Chloe to get another chance for redemption because of the plans the writers have for her, but I feel like its not too late. At this point she's made so many mistakes and lost everything she once had. At her lowest of lowest points, perhaps she would finally start to reflect and change to become a better person if the writers are willing to give her that chance. This would drive back the same message they wanted to send in the begining, that everyone is capable of change. Even for someone like Chloe, who's made so many mistakes despite the chance of redemption she was once given, maybe its never too late for her to get back up on their feet. Afterall, when you hit your lowest point, the only way left is up, right?
Don't you think you're being a tad optimistic? Thomas has made it known on regular occasions that he despises Chloe, and will make it his personal mission that nothing good ever happens to her. Which basically means: She'll grow progressively more evil and intolerable, she'll lose whatever complexity she had in the last few seasons, all her friends and family (apart from her tyrannical mother) will abandon her, and she's doomed to live in misery and hatred for the rest of her life. YAYYYY(?) But who cares, right? I mean, we have ZOE (aka Mary Sue) as her flashy, brand new replacement! You know, the blandly sweet girl we never heard about till S4 without a flaw, who's nice to everyone so everyone loves her, who gets a Miraculous after her SECOND appearance, who's a confirmed lesbian so if you do hate on her for ANY reason you're homophobic... er, why do I suddenly feel like rolling my eyes and being sick?
21:05 To be a dumping grounds for people’s complaints about Fu put in the worst most exaggerated light, and now to be a dumping ground for people’s issues with Marionette as guardian put in the worst most exaggerated light.
tbh i hate how the show tries to treat Marinette's stalking as not a flaw, it is ok to have flawed character's as long they treat the flaws as flaws, but instead they write themselves into hole whilst somewhat justifying Mari behaviour.
Episode 18 Emotion🦚 is my favorite and I think that it's the best episode too I just ❤ Argos🦚 singing🎵 and the battle of 🐞 vs 🦚 was amazing and fabulous🤩.
I still pissed about this Marinette get ptsd from having crush on Kim.Like there were no hints in previous season and was so obvious to make justify Marinette stalking syndrom and just make Chloe worse.I would believe if she had crush on some guy who never saw in previous seasons who actually did it to her and that Chloe was not involved.I mean, she would be like bully but bully we knew in season 1,if this was like that written then I am ok with Marinette having ptsd and still hates Chloe, but this? This episode just make on sense! If feels more like AU as canon!Which...be honest, some episodes are feels like that.
12:12 And let's not forget they knew Gabriel had the Miraculous book since S1E26/S2E1! You know, the book Master Fu lost alongside the Butterfly & Peacock Miraculouses in the exact same place??? How the hell was Gabriel not their #1 suspect since Season 2? Master Fu should've known that a Butterfly holder could use the power on himself, geez. And why didn't Plagg react to the Peacock Miraculous hidden inside Gabriel's safe? Come to think of it, how did Plagg never find Gabriel's secret lair? He LOVES disrespecting other people's privacy. And he can phase through walls! And cameras can't see him! I can't even...
Tomoe should be in prison! Like seriously! You tried to kill Felix! Yes. He's not the best person. But he's still just a kid! You can literally be arrested for hurting a child. But killing them?! Pretty sure she'd be put in prison for that!
And what does she get? Does she get hanged from the gallows, or face some form of torture like a Saw Trap? Nope! She gets Gabe’s business, all his money, and possibly made Adrien go broke. Thanks Mari.
I actually loved this finale. It was great seeing Marinette combine the miraculous and the writers knew what they wanted to do in the next season or the special. And the animation was AMAZING
Manipula’s episode was one of my favorites, not because of the storyline, but because they straight up kill her! They drop a chandelier on her, and she doesn’t move until the lucky charm fixes everything. I don’t know if this is canon, but it is to me. I also loved how Chat, throughout this entire season, was fully ready to kill a man.
A funny thing about Kim is that he sais in the episode Darkblade that he is afraid of spiders. He seems to have temporary overcome his fear to prank poor Marinette in the pool.
Note: Episode 27 of Season 5 titled “Action”, isn’t actually canon during the events of season 5. Which would explain when watching this episode after the season finale (“The Last Day Part 1 & 2), feels so boring and lackluster.
Thanks for the video I'm happy to see new ppl making MLB videos I really wish I could really like season 5 but for some reason I don't like this season at all that much maybe because it got spoiled and the leaks ruined for 90% of the fans Or is that a lot of the writing decisions just seemed really specially the decisions in episode 1 cuz once they got the bunny miraculous from future Alex they should have took it back to the past and stopped ladybug from becoming Penny bug at all and giving Felix the dog And they could have set the rest of the season up with Marinette and Adrien getting together a lot better it feels like when they got the green light to get a few more seasons they decided that all we have to add like fluff and filler to the season because a lot of the stuff just feels like they rushed you through a few things and I wish that maybe they had used season 6 To finish the agreste ark because there's a lot more we could get from it I think And then they had the nerve to show us the miraculous special that's it around episode 3 of this season and the writing for it was just amazing and then I looked back at season 5 and the writing just feels like like they had new writers making this season who may be only just watch season 4 I'm hoping since they have a lot more time and they haven't really started the writing yet that they'll actually look back at a lot of the mistakes they made throughout the past few seasons and try to do better in season 6
@@ACriticalRetrospective I remember we all hoped that the leaks were fake because a lot of the scenarios and descriptions for the episodes just didn't sound real and when we all read the description of the few of the last few episodes we really thought the leaks were fake but sadly they turned out I know a few of us had at least hope that that maybe since the people working on miraculous ladybug knew that season 5 have been leaked that maybe they would try to change the last episode but they didn't
bunnyx: no cause thats a disaster from the universes perspective 👴👴👴👴 we are stopping him from traveling through time cause he is ruining our timeline 😇😇 so we have to stop him until its the end 🤓🤓🤓🤓 we are trying not to interfere with the past as much as possible otherwise we might have not existed then the world wouldnt be going on anymore 😘😘😘 so we have to stop him before anything happens 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
@@ACriticalRetrospective oh, and also, technicly not an akumatization, but Hoaxer made her hate Marinette too, yet neither her or Alya relevald Marinette's secret.....
22:38 why would luka trust the manager in the first place when Luka literally got akumatized because of he stole from his band and was mad that he was threatening his friends. Like, that in itself seem out of character for him to do, especially once you factor in how Luka is incredibly aware of the emotions of others around him, meaning he would be able to tell that something is off about this proposal even if he did entrain the idea. (They might have explained it in the episode, but I haven't watched it yet and this is just my opinions right off the bat).
Season 5 had so many issues 1. It doesn't make sense that Ladybug 🐞 And Cat Noir 😺 had the opportunity to grab the miraculouses but didn't do it in Evolution and Destruction. 2. Andre getting an undeserved reedemption and ditches his own daughter for his affair baby. 3. Monarch dies without facing any consequences for what he does 4. Adrien being sidelined 5. There were lots of inconsistencies
The fact that characters that only appeared in the specials had more impact on the finale than a TITLE CHARACTER is unforgivable. Also, I take issue with the idea that Mari and Adrien are all considered grown up at 14/15. I can understand if they were STARTING to grow up, but you are NOT an adult at 14/15, you SHOULD NOT be an adult at 14/15. And that the only thing they have to do to delay deformation is to think REALLY hard on it…?…It felt like such an ass pull. Easily the worst official finale of any show I’ve watched for me. Also Mari had no business knowing the Agreste family drama, especially before ADRIEN.
Why no one talks about Felix and Lady Bug’s fight scene. in one episode they told us that Felix is a pro at kungfu and he really uses his fight skills in that scene.
i literally skipped the last episode when i realized it was just a "dont use plastic" filler ep 😭 they couldve thrown it in the middle somewhere and not DELIBERATELY at the end after the craziest episode in the season
Wow. I didn't think someone would like Pretension as much as I did. But I was proven wrong! Glad to know you also enjoy that episode! Feligami was definitely an unexpected ship. But not an unwelcomed one. 😊🥰🤗💙💙💙🧡🧡🧡🦚
This video gave me an idea, a suggestion, if you will; A "grading" video; since S5 used concepts' name, not villains, how well was it integrated, both as given/used power and by story. Just ideas, like Emotion high point for having no akuma but only peacock power and showchasing Felix's wish/feelings about the word around him, or Pretention, the idea who owns whom destiny, maybe what do you think of Reunion mechanic, and your predictions on how it will return, what will Adrien use it... Maybe meets his father... Just an idea, but feels in your ally, as far as I see your videos, and nobody did this so far 😃
@@ACriticalRetrospective also, it's a personal thought, but I would go with x/3 for power, it feels either lesser used/used/well used, not mutch more to it, while concept can be x/5... But again, it's just personal idea, your video, you do you🙂
The worst part about the two part special was the entire premise of the rings tricking the entire world and causing everyone to get upset over ladybug and catnoir kidnapping Adrien and Kagami😭😭😭😭
27 - expected an epilogue when the episode was already known as not related to the show. 26 - but... it was corrected... she no longer stalks him and learned that she doesn't need to control everything to get what she seeks. It's how you see it. 25 - I believe this was done for the sake of S6 and if you think about it, based on what-if episodes, Adrien is not ready for this baggage to be bombed on him which would have caused identity reveals. He will know about all this differently and the secrets will start unfolding which would improve the relationship between the characters by facing the storm. If it was the last season, they would have included Adrien. 24 - Agreed, it's like she never understood what Felix showed her. There are other things she should have suspected based on her character. And again, for Adrien, read what I wrote on the previously ranked episode. 23 - It felt rushed and the storytelling was too subliminal xD Kagami wasn't 100% sure that she was Ladybug so she counted on chance and ig it wasn't too shocking for her...? She doesn't always react typically to things heh. 22 - She was a dictator giving empty promises on democratic elections for people to calm them. It wasn't just will. Growth is a form of maturity. Lila's bg works is to become the future Hawkmoth. And those plans were quite genius imo since using resources for one's advantage is clever (regardless for good or evil). 21 - It felt it missed like no one knew what to do. I didn't like it. 20 - Marinette was focused on the cause of her anxiety not her secret identity at the time. Not sure about Kagami. 19 - Just a marichat relief episode 😅 18 - Last Hurrah in this school~ Lila always managed to blind anyone but Adrien and Marinette so the direct "hear her admit how stupid you all are and how she fooled you" was needed. 17 - That one was truly clever. She gets revenge on Gabriel (her knowing wasn't surprising since she helped him and pulled the strings to connect the dots)by acting like the revenge for Marinette this time (really Gabriel? She can't just forget her anger on you). People were always blind so... 16 - You have to remove one mask to get a glimpse of the type of person she truly is~ And that was Lila testing her theory on Gabriel. Power is what got her as mayor, remember . 15 - I loved the plan but hated her monologue instead of gravbing the miraculous while explaining smh (that's when the paris special happens on that night). It would have worked without the monologue. 14 - It was not bad, just showed some character development for Zoe - don't focus on the stairs, but rather the way she stood up to her and allied with everyone.
13 - Ironic how the cringiest scene was what awoke Adrien. He always felt that way but was in denial... ig... oh well. I like how Ladybug's trauma effects is shown. 12 - That episode was a bombshell on Ladynoir. Ig they either like the other in superhero form too (you can have feelings for 2 people) considering they don't know it's the same person. Or it mixed with their similar wants and desires which councided with them being together in it. Ladybug has a strong will to manage to know it is a dream. Lucid dreams are not easy xD 11 - Kagami is still learning about friendships and dealing with her emotions so seemed logical, especially when it comes to breakups and not harming loved ones from feeling hurt to see them together. 10 - It was needed. They needed the break to talk things out and get rid of that wall. Zoe was logical to me for other people didn't seem suitable especially when Alya was taken haha. 9 - I liked how Nathalie is shown determined to "help" Gabriel but this time is to stop him. She literally fought to her last breath to a point of wanting to shoot him with an arrow. Gabriel's use of the snake miraculous just showed how Ladybug's lucky charms and intuition are too flexible for him. He wasted his time (and life). 8 - that episode was to highlight the imperfection of each character and how they put harsh expectations on themselves and misunderstand (Mariette to Kagami and vice versa). I felt Lila gave Kagami some bs buzzfeed checklist and honestly, Kagami is very likely to take it seriously. I wondered how Monarch would benefit from her akumatization till I realized how her trying to stop them from stopping her would indirectly give him what he wanted. I wondered at first "you just want her to have that peace? 😂" 7 - the cluelessness of everyone even LB and CN was triggering. No other suspicions on how the miraculous powers are delivered. Though, the kindness of Gabriel really felt... not genuine. An abuser is just good at deceipt. Fuck those pancakes 😂 6 - It was something. The use of the Kwagatama (forgive the typo) was just "oh we got a role for it". I liked how Jalil's brainwashing by a Reddit-like platform was realistic imo. Just conspiracy theories. I wondered why he didn't ask the book of truth from the start but oh well. I liked how the contrast of the ladybugs is shown (physical to intellectual strength). 5 - The antihero rise was truly good and I respected that Kagami saw a wrong in it. The reasoning of Kagami's mother (either with or against me) is such an asian mom logic xD Felix's motive is much clearer after his first appearance in the party. The way Marinette faced Gabriel was foreshadowing to the finale and their perspectives on fashion. Gabriel's view was sadly the one of our world. 4 - I despised how he didn't put that bloody usb then went for the trap. It's clear the grief had made him obsessed and lose his sanity. A past Gabriel would have done it. It's hypocritical how Marinette is technically like younger him yet he treats him the same way the parents of Emilie treated him. That episode showed the downfall of his relationship with Nathalie after 4 seasons of alliance. 3 - The lore is so strong in here and the tension was so well done like actual parents planning to divorce 😂 Nathalie is truly strong for acting to help him but aiming to do what Emilie wanted and help Adrien to become his own person (as much as possible). I think you meant stepmother figure not surrogate x3 For once, the roles were reversed and Adrien showed a leading position. 2 - The way Zoe and Alya's superhero time was shortened was sooo... I screamed. It really felt like Gabriel could win but the song was creepy and mad but reflects his mental state. The fact the lucky charm reached Marinette only shows she is meant for the role. Even the fact Adrien took the rings from his father shows his strong role as CN, LB's partner, but I wished LB connected some ideas between the rings (miraculous) and how they are being transferred... like hello... alliance rings... 1 - I liked it. Wouldn't put it as my favorite but still. I gasped when the lucky charm well... there was none, it shows that sometimes it's not up to LB to solve things. It's how Felix's antihero era starts. But sadly his method of "forcing" that freedom made them refuse this. He should have let them get their freedom themselves. The way Marinette crashed the party but not to stalk and rather respect Adrien's autonomy is quite impressive. When he cries and how he addresses the sentibeing (not a monster) reveals a preview of his views and motives. He isn't just a selfish villain.
42:50 Alright, I have words with Adoration. It's not a bad episode (compared to the rest of the series), but I felt they overplayed their hand with showing us LB and Chat getting caught. Just an opinion, but the episode could have started with LB and Chat fighting Darker Owl and defeating him, only for him to reveal how he got an extra Miraculous power (doesn't matter which). This leads to a sting where the heroes jump Hawkmoth and defeat him. From there, we see Marinette slowly putting her life back together, thinking the fight is over, sometimes getting startled by a ringing alarm clock until something stops her from checking where it's coming from. As she hangs out with her friends, begins dating Adrien, the alarms seem to follow her. Finally, when Adrien gives her a necklace "as a *gift*," she puts it all together. Darker Owl wasn't using (insert power-up here), but Gift. She and Chat both got hit, and they're now in dream worlds. The Lucky Charm is an alarm clock, and it's been ringing this whole time to snap the pair out of it. Tearfully forgoing her happy ending, LB wakes up (same time as Chat) and beat Owl for real. At the end of the episode, LB tells Chat some about her dream world before asking Chat what he saw. He's vague but he says 'It wasn't a perfect dream without the girl of my dreams.' Not only does it add mystery to what Chat's perfect world looks like, but for the audience, and Ladybug, we don't know if the girl of his dreams was Mari with the mask... or without. Sorry, it frustrates me to no end how great story ideas are dotted throughout the show's run, and they choose such boring avenues every single time. It's the 5th season, we don't need any more new characters, and you can certainly afford to be a little experimental. Try something new for once - you don't have to do what's expected, ya know!
To defend action: for how boring it is, it's not really the final episode kf the season considering that gabe was still alive and everything. It was more if a " screw it" special to hold us over until the shadybug and clawnori special.
@@ACriticalRetrospective I'm more neutral to action, I don't find it to inoffensive, but at the same time like you said, it's boring as all hell and the message is extremely backwards, I was simply saying that the point of it being a final episode didn't really hold up. Otherwise I still agree with the placement
I'm gona be honest; I wouldn't put the middle specials (Transmission/Deflagration) that high. They are good episodes in concept, I mean REALLY GOOD here, but some aspects all together drags it down. I specificly mean, they should stay heroes and free the kwamies first... But oke, surrender to love... But they kept the relationship after they had to turn back heroes, so what was the point then, other than plot? And that Adrienette DDDDRRRAAAAGGGEEEDDDD too mutch, and feels, we got a super op villain, but the heroes won too easy, considering it was first time... Deflagration felt a bit too plot armory as well, like, the ox only protecting some, but not all wielded, but it's.... Kinda works... But Monarch was against a few kids, having multiple superpower... He shouldn't just run away (it also furstrates me that Marinette got throw to a wall, literally breaking the wall, WITHOUT the Miraculous, yet, had no injurie... But again, it was interesting, but really sad we knew he won't win, that took mutch tension away.... But at least, some good lore👍 I would put them maybe in the middle
I feel like Destruction could’ve come before Multiplication bc of how Ikari Dozen used a miraculous powers. Like if we seen destruction before multiplication it would make sense. Also did Felix mention a Sister in emotion?
After five seosons of this show , i think I finally got it . Just Ignore the Logic . Every Important thing that got set up , the 24/7 access to Time Travel , all of that is not important to enjoy the show . Yeah , Logic wise its a mess . Chloe being the mayor of paris as an example . But if you just ignore everything surrounding her , like her age or redemption arc that got ruined you can get a lot of enjoyment out of this Episode and the entire show tbh . Its a mess , but if you dont think about it it can be great .
Let just say Andre is just hardcore pro-shipper who just never will accept NO as answer XD Really, men like Major,Gabriel,Master Fu and Andree become just meme in this point XD I never will take them seriously XD
About the 27th episode.. Having kids shows tackle real life issues SHOULD objectively be a good thing, the problem in my opinion is how Miraculous handles these issues. They just make up the dumbest and fakest scenarios for no reason and solve them in the most unrealistic ways. A better way to do this would be integrating small meaningful actions during normal episodes. But all we get to see in the actual show is them destroying stuff with no consequences because "the ladybugs will fix everything anyway", wasting food for "comidic" or "plot" reasons, letting Marinette get away with the most disgusting actions while others get punished just for accidentally standing in her way, etc etc... Miraculous ovarall is kind of hypocritical and immature no matter what it tries to say, and the way it handles environmental issues is one of the most obvious examples of it.
They should have gradually shown the heroes using their power without transforming back. Have them have more counters or more time till they transform back. Chat noir notices this and tells ladybug and they ask their predecessors (yes even chat noir I think he got a kuagatama or something) the legal age for marriage or something in medieval Europe was 15 so you could just chalk it up. Still wouldn’t make too much sense since there are various ages for adults but whatever I’m working with what I can. Their predecessors tell them that they’re “growing up” and they take steps to make sure they can handle their power up and not make it into something negative by using it too much (like with shady bug and claw noir). That would have made more sense than what we got and I came up with it in like 2 minutes and a google search.
Thank you! Cartoons and most of the entertainment is way to relax and escape the fact that real life sucks. In general I really dislike all kinds of preaching in cartoons... Some might take this wrong way but the biggest problem for me is that harmless good messages can easily turn into political propaganda and whatever the political message would be, half of the audience will be upset. And even if the messages weren't extremely political it still easily be taken wrong way... Cartoons aimed for adults have enough politics in them, leave kids alone... But that's just me and part of why I don't like episodes like Action. Let me enjoy this fictional show about furry superheros! XD
Also I must note that plastic isn't only thing wrong with Seine... It's full of sewage. There is 💩💩 and diseases in it. This really has nothing to do with the episode (except maybe that they defeated the villain by drowning him on that garbage) but I just felt like mentioning this.
You know what. Since I really REALLY dislike season 5. I got a rewrite idea. Technically season 5 has 28 episodes since Action is canon and the special is between the episodes. Yeah 26 episodes max. Episode 1: Evolution - Now I'll just change the way the episode goes. gabriel actually puts down the perdrive but then he starts to glitch (along with Chat Noir) and he decides to take back that pendrive. Chat Noir charges him and they both fall into the past timeline. Past Gabe and alive Emilie see Monarch and Chat Noir. Chat is shoked and Monarch is speechless seeing Emilie alive again. Ladybug pulls them back. Bunnix pushes all three of them out of the burrow. They fight for a while and Chat disroyes the rabbit miraculous with his cataclysm. At the end of the episode we see adult Bunnix's miraculous is also broken. Episode 2: Destruction - The part when they go to London is here the rest of the episode goes the same. Episode 3: Special part 1 - Interpret it as you wish Episode 4: Special part 2 Episode 5: Multiplication Episode 6: Illusion Episode 7: Determination Episode 8: Reunion Episode 9: Passion Episode 10: Elation Episode 11: Jubilation Episode 12: Perfection Episode 13: Migration - Everything is the same except for the ending. Luka doesn't says directly to everyone why he wants to leave also he takes Adrien to the side and tells him he knows about Chat Noir. When Luka is at the airport with Jagged, Bob Roth apprears and treathens Luka so he signs the contract (he would) and Luka stays in Paris as Bob's...basically slave. Episode 14: Gabierl takes his chance and makes a deal with Bob to "promote the alliance" which makes Luka AND ADRIEN being forced to wear the alliance rings. Luka and Adrien have a heart to hear conversation. XY (Bob's son) gets akumatized because he's jealous of Luka. At the end of the episode XY makes a truce with Luka. Adrien tranforms with a ring on and Nathalie sees his inhuman recird of movements and the woman is to stunned to speak but she deletes the data before gabriel can see it. Episode 15: Luka cracks. Monarch manipulates him (think Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid) and the only reason Luka looses is because the heroes talk him down. Nathalie is sure Adrien is Chat and makes sure Gabriel doesn't know. Luka feels terrible that he almost caused the end of the world but he sucks it up. Now I'm not biased. Kagami got two episodes about her sadness so why can't Luka? Like think about what he's been through for at least a minte. Episode 16: Protection Episode 17: Emotion Episode 18: Pretension Episode 19: Revelation-Confrontation combo - Lila does not come back Episode 20: Adoration - Zoe confessing. Kind of slice of life episode Episode 21: Representation - the prom thingy and Adrien going bye bye to London Episode 22: Kagami backstory Episode 23: The twins backstory Episode 24: Felix and Adrien backstory Episode 25-26: The finale. Now I have two ideas. Either make it the end of the show or. BugNoir happens but Adrien at the end goes there. He sees dead Nathalie, Emilie and Gabriel and we get the reveal. Adrien is devastated and...he enters his villain arc. Now it's really messy and not detailed but...I'd rather have this than season 5
@@ACriticalRetrospective Well Luka is my favortie character so if I could I'd do him justice. I literally have an essay on my of why luka is interesting. Also thak you ☺
Well actualy gabriel"s wish was to revive Natalie at the cost of his own life, so it's kinda a win bor both Gabriel and Marinete howewer it was a painfuly bad ending, and it was more on the "Gabriel won side" so it really was a TERRIBLE ending. Hopefully S6 will have a better finale, like S4, because this is horrific writing. P.S - Sorry if i was a bit rude
Ur number 1 choice was spot on with emotion but u are wrong about Marichat it’s amazing it’s my second fav ship I still can’t understand adrien saying he fell in love with Mari at the museum when that whole day he thought of ladybug I would of accepted him saying New York as we don’t really know where it sits other than after chat Blanc and before Mr pigeon, 72 or I would of accepted him falling for her listening to her confession as chat for buttercup I’m still mad at season finale for a lot of things, but for two main things one we didn’t get to see ladrien conversation and two plaggs reunion with adrien
@@ACriticalRetrospective Well, tbh, I liked that version of Chloé, it felt someone who can be feared. Kim on the other hand... He got his Miraculous at the first place literally for the same thing he thought just a joke; make/let somebody fall... I feel he was stupi-fied.... And thinking human suffering is funny that way, and Marinette knowing it, I don't see a reason he sould be a hero... I mean, protecting others literally should be the first thing about (choosing) a hero....
I tried to go back and watch some of season 5 again and I found myself only watching maybe at best a few episodes compared to other seasons even some of the earlier seasons like season 1 When it comes to season 5 I don't really want to re-watch it like I do the other seasons and again I think it's because of what happened with all the leaks it kind of ruined the excitement for the season but it also just feels like looking back at it you just look at episode 1 and you feel like you're the writer think you're stupid I know this is a kids show but I think even a kid will point out that if they had just used the miraculous of the rabbit when cat noir had it or even when they went back in time and got a miraculous from Masters full in the past they could have still stopped ladybug from becoming Penny bug and giving Felix the dog like the season truly could have been fixed right there and they could have still just had Alex take the rabbit miraculous back in time or keep it out of their timeline so they defeat hawk moth like they had already decided at the end of the episode just to be sure that is the one miraculous he never gets like this season just feels kind of like a waste of time because well they have time travel in this first episode of the season and it just makes it feel like a waste of time like I said they could have fixed it and it's just frustrating because they could have used this season and maybe explorer Adrian more and instead of giving all of the cool traits that to Felix have they were Adrian becomes suspicious of his dad and looks into them and have it where maybe Natalie dropped some hints Or I don't know have it where Natalie steals one of the miraculous from him like I don't know the rooster miraculous and have it where Gabriel's time is completely stopped around him and he can't or I don't know how they where she uses the rooster miraculous to permanently nullify his power so he can't use any of them I don't know if season 5 just feels the most frustrating because they're like several ways it could be fixed that are just right there in the writers just decided to have this full season that just kind of didn't make sense if you just look at it and it's kind of a bit upsetting 😅
18 and 17 in your ranking gotta be the worst episodes of the season for me *just* because of the large amount of Lila focus. I don’t mind Chloé or Gabriel/Monarch but Lila just wants me to strangle someone. I love villains in media bc they make the franchise’s they’re in interesting and they make it a thing in the first place. Without villains some franchises wouldn’t even exist in the first place or they would be just plain and boring. Sometimes I love villains and sometimes I hate villains. Sometimes even Hate-Love them. They are what keep the franchises going they are in. Some of them have really great designs as well! May it be a villain I absolutely hate but damn the design is great. But Lila? She just annoys me. Her character design is bland which is already a negative point. Yes she blends in as the "perfect“ girl who could do no wrong but I need them to show it atleast a BIT. They better reveal in season 6 what her actual purpose is or I am going to loose it. She turned from the new girl who just builds her entire character around lies and people already can’t stand her to a person with multiple roles and like 5 different times like what is her purpose?! I will punch the writers if they don’t explain her purpose. She is the typa person I just want to throw out of the window. If I wouldn’t watch Miraculous on Netflix but a regular channel I would just switch channels. Idk what kind of anger I feel when I see her. She is an interesting cannot lie about that but she makes me feel negative emotions I just cannot describe. She should’ve never been created in the first place in my opinion. Also why is Hoaxer just a recolouring of Volpina?! Since when have the designers/animatos that kind of lacks of ideas?! Also the amount of lacking common sense of others ESPECIALLY ALYA is just so frustrating. How do they just not question her actions and lies? One google search could expose her. For example when she lied travelling with Jaged Stone(?). Paparazzi are unfortunately anywhere. They would’ve cought her if she‘d really be travelling with him. A simple google search would’ve atleast exposed that lie. Also Juleka(not Luka since he isn’t in their class) later found out about Jaged being her father. Why not question it?! AND ALYA LITERALLY WANTS TO BE A REPORTER WHY DOESNT SHE DO RESEARCH?! Sighs I am tierd if thinking of this. Great video, horrible season, barley can watch it. Great job! 💗
Glad you enjoyed it! Also, I definitely agree that Season 5 had a “recycling villains” problem. Most were just recolors or revisions of previous villains such as: Darker Owl Sole Destroyer Dark Humor Riposte Prime Matagi Gozen Hoaxer Nightormentor

Hm.... With all respect, "sentibeing/monster" is not really a species... I mean, it feels a bit racist, and I know you absolutly did not ment that, so, this is not a call out. It's a humble oppinion: Being a sentibeing is more of a condition than genetics, like missing a limb. Félix was created as a human, so he is fully a human, just with special condition. Red moon was... Like having a very-very dear pet with that said condition (now, I don't want to suggest every sentibeing is inferior, I referred to -in this chase- Red moon's seemingly had lesser intelligence/awareness than orher beings)... Idk what other word would be better (maybe condition) just maybe not "species", please 😟
I’m glad we all agree Felix’s little song was iconic
It sure was! Although, I couldn’t bring myself to listen to the real one. The storyboard version was infinitely better, in my opinion. It’s a crime the fanbase was never supposed to see that version. 😂
@@ACriticalRetrospective Agree to disagree. I thought the storyboard one was a little well. Mumblely. But to each their own. ^^
@@DFeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisFan That’s okay. I respect your opinion. I’m glad you like the actual version. 😊
@@ACriticalRetrospective Thanks. ^^ Although I'm definitely biased considering well umm. Bryce's singing is heaven compared to the off key songs I heard as a kid. From Thomas and friends. My poor ears suffered a lot from those songs as a kid.😅
You are so speaking facts (love ya)
You put the finale third to last. You automatically deserve a like and subscribe
22:57 I’ve always assumed Monarch was able to make the deduction of Luka knowing Ladybug and Chat Noir’s identities because Monarch knows Luka was Viperon.
That's possible, but at the same time, he knew Kagami was Ryuko, but that didn't happen with her when she got akumatized.
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video. ☺️

@@marioluigiplushplanet3053 I tried my best 🤗
My opinion on s5 episodes:
1.Emotion( the best episode of this season and one of the best from entire show. This episode show that miraculous can be more powerfull if you have a open mind.)
2.Confrontation (the animation could have been better and why they deleted Alya and Marinette s moment)
3.Pretension (loved the fight between old generation and new, Marinette vs Gabriel, Kagami vs Tomoe ETC.)
4.Passion (Passion was much better than Reflektdoll ADRIEN was like A MAIN for this episode and he ate)
5.Adoration(love this episode, it is soo underrated)
6.Reunion ( love this type of episodes, i hope we will see more of old holders)
7.Deflagration (only at 7 bc i love others more)
8.Evolution (again like in destruction take not wait, but it was better)
9.Revelation ( Lila ate)
10.Elation (love marichat scenes, and i love night episodes, the problem is that Gabriel says he wants to exploit the relationship between Mari and CN but we never see that again)
11.Re-creation(i loved 70% of this episode, they could make adrien oppose his father and try to escape (that's how I would do this episode at least) )
12.Intution (it is down bc StarTrain and Paris Special says that Gabriel has a limited range but he akumatized Ada on space and he could speak to her)
13.Protection( another episode Nathalie carried, Adrinette too)
14.Transmission(at 1st this episode was as last but i like it more after watching 2nd time all the season in order)
15.Perfection(my comfort episode tbh)
16.Illusion ( it was a wonder to see gabriel as a thinker, funniest episode in this season)
17.Jubilation ( it is soo low bc i liked more others, loved Ladynoir moment + the new location ,i love it)
18.Destruction ( i watched this episode i think 12 times, but has problems like why they gave them both dialogs than rush made Gabriel and Ladybug weak)
19.Revolution(why people let a teen to be mayor? like she is 14-15)
20.Multiplication (Tomoe it is such an interesting character i would like to know more about her)
21.Migration( i dont like this episode, the animation in some cases is ugly, and who would sign a contract without reading)
22.Conformation (loved Nathalie and last scene from this episode)
23.Action (hated the animation but it was soo funny to watch like a s1 episode)
24.Collusion(loved the animation but idk it wasnt feeling miraculous)
25.Derision (Socqueline carried this episode)
26.Determination( didnt loved this episode, like how young bunnyx is there, who stops her bc she can travel time)
27.Representation( aka filler episode the only think i liked was CN vs Gabriel)
Conclusion:
1-7 PERFECT
8-14 GOOD
15-23 OK/something missing
24-27 HATE/Delete Them keep only Determination but make the animation better and i will put between 13-17
S5 animation - I hated the most animation this season except SAMG.
S4 had a better plot line than s5 by far. I love how S2 and S4 is better. S1 has iconic episodes but doesnt compare. and S3 had wow episodes but bad main plot.
Thanks for sharing your ranking. I agree with you for most of those places. Representation is pretty bad. 😂
Omg, wake up the king himself posted!

The best character in mlb is Adrien’s body guard. Props to him
I understand why some don't like Representation.
YAYYYY(?)
But who cares, right?
Thank you for giving emotion love. I freaking liked this episode alot!!
Me too! 😄
Episode 18 Emotion🦚 is my favorite and I think that it's the best episode too I just ❤ Argos🦚 singing🎵 and the battle of 🐞 vs 🦚 was amazing and fabulous🤩.

@@DFeligamiAdrizoeSworaDennisFan Yeah that's totally good listen away 🙂.
Gabriel's really been on thin ice, hasn't he?
I'll treasure this video with all my heart!! 😫☕👌
Thank you! I’m so happy to hear that. 😊
@@MGory828Pain. So much pain!
Thanks for clarifying. I appreciate it. 😊
Thanks for the video I'm happy to see new ppl making MLB videos
I really wish I could really like season 5 but for some reason I don't like this season at all that much maybe because it got spoiled and the leaks ruined for 90% of the fans
Or is that a lot of the writing decisions just seemed really specially the decisions in episode 1 cuz once they got the bunny miraculous from future Alex they should have took it back to the past and stopped ladybug from becoming Penny bug at all and giving Felix the dog
And they could have set the rest of the season up with Marinette and Adrien getting together a lot better it feels like when they got the green light to get a few more seasons they decided that all we have to add like fluff and filler to the season because a lot of the stuff just feels like they rushed you through a few things and I wish that maybe they had used season 6
To finish the agreste ark because there's a lot more we could get from it I think
And then they had the nerve to show us the miraculous special that's it around episode 3 of this season and the writing for it was just amazing and then I looked back at season 5 and the writing just feels like like they had new writers making this season who may be only just watch season 4
I'm hoping since they have a lot more time and they haven't really started the writing yet that they'll actually look back at a lot of the mistakes they made throughout the past few seasons and try to do better in season 6
You’re very welcome. ☺️
I agree, the leaks really did ruin the season for me. I just couldn’t resist. 😅
Especially the one about Lila having multiple identities. That sounded super fake.
But I guess truth is stranger than fiction. 😂
bunnyx: no cause thats a disaster from the universes perspective 👴👴👴👴 we are stopping him from traveling through time cause he is ruining our timeline 😇😇 so we have to stop him until its the end 🤓🤓🤓🤓 we are trying not to interfere with the past as much as possible otherwise we might have not existed then the world wouldnt be going on anymore 😘😘😘 so we have to stop him before anything happens 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Season 5 had so many issues
1. It doesn't make sense that Ladybug 🐞 And Cat Noir 😺 had the opportunity to grab the miraculouses but didn't do it in Evolution and Destruction.
2. Andre getting an undeserved reedemption and ditches his own daughter for his affair baby.
3. Monarch dies without facing any consequences for what he does
4. Adrien being sidelined
5. There were lots of inconsistencies
You just had to reach that 10 minute mark😂
You know it! 😂
I totally agree, the adult thing is so weird.
Why no one talks about Felix and Lady Bug’s fight scene. in one episode they told us that Felix is a pro at kungfu and he really uses his fight skills in that scene.
This video made me laugh so much xD I love it
i literally skipped the last episode when i realized it was just a "dont use plastic" filler ep 😭 they couldve thrown it in the middle somewhere and not DELIBERATELY at the end after the craziest episode in the season

I didn't expect that ship neither😲🤔😲.
This video gave me an idea, a suggestion, if you will;
A "grading" video; since S5 used concepts' name, not villains, how well was it integrated, both as given/used power and by story.
I see. I’ll think about it. ☺️
Why is such an absurd idea so integral to Monarch’s plan? 🤣
@@ACriticalRetrospective Because Gabriel is made of stupid.

23 - It felt rushed and the storytelling was too subliminal xD
Kagami wasn't 100% sure that she was Ladybug so she counted on chance and ig it wasn't too shocking for her...? She doesn't always react typically to things heh.
22 - She was a dictator giving empty promises on democratic elections for people to calm them. It wasn't just will. Growth is a form of maturity. Lila's bg works is to become the future Hawkmoth. And those plans were quite genius imo since using resources for one's advantage is clever (regardless for good or evil).
21 - It felt it missed like no one knew what to do. I didn't like it.
20 - Marinette was focused on the cause of her anxiety not her secret identity at the time. Not sure about Kagami.
19 - Just a marichat relief episode 😅
18 - Last Hurrah in this school~ Lila always managed to blind anyone but Adrien and Marinette so the direct "hear her admit how stupid you all are and how she fooled you" was needed.
17 - That one was truly clever. She gets revenge on Gabriel (her knowing wasn't surprising since she helped him and pulled the strings to connect the dots)by acting like the revenge for Marinette this time (really Gabriel? She can't just forget her anger on you). People were always blind so...
16 - You have to remove one mask to get a glimpse of the type of person she truly is~
And that was Lila testing her theory on Gabriel.
Lucid dreams are not easy xD
11 - Kagami is still learning about friendships and dealing with her emotions so seemed logical, especially when it comes to breakups and not harming loved ones from feeling hurt to see them together.
7 - the cluelessness of everyone even LB and CN was triggering. No other suspicions on how the miraculous powers are delivered.
Though, the kindness of Gabriel really felt... not genuine. An abuser is just good at deceipt. Fuck those pancakes 😂
6 - It was something.
The reasoning of Kagami's mother (either with or against me) is such an asian mom logic xD
Felix's motive is much clearer after his first appearance in the party.
3 - The lore is so strong in here and the tension was so well done like actual parents planning to divorce 😂
Nathalie is truly strong for acting to help him but aiming to do what Emilie wanted and help Adrien to become his own person (as much as possible). I think you meant stepmother figure not surrogate x3
For once, the roles were reversed and Adrien showed a leading position.
@@miraculous-tales Interesting takes on each episodes! Thanks for sharing. 😊
He's vague but he says 'It wasn't a perfect dream without the girl of my dreams.'
Not only does it add mystery to what Chat's perfect world looks like, but for the audience, and Ladybug, we don't know if the girl of his dreams was Mari with the mask...
Something about season 5 is that after Emotion (with the exception of Representation) EVERY EPISODE GETS WORSE AND WORSE
To defend action: for how boring it is, it's not really the final episode kf the season considering that gabe was still alive and everything. It was more if a " screw it" special to hold us over until the shadybug and clawnori special.
Maybe I'm just nostalgic. But when I think of the word action. I think of that one wiggles song. Lights camera action. Wiggles.
That’s true. Thanks for sharing with me. I’m glad you liked Action. 😊
@@ACriticalRetrospective I'm more neutral to action, I don't find it to inoffensive, but at the same time like you said, it's boring as all hell and the message is extremely backwards, I was simply saying that the point of it being a final episode didn't really hold up. Otherwise I still agree with the placement
@@screwoff45776 Fair enough. Thanks for sharing. You’re right about Action not really being the final episode, I guess I was too hung up about that. 😊
@@ACriticalRetrospective it's understandable.
1:44 Mario Kart Wii music once again!
That’s right! 😁
Mario kart Wii. One of the best Mario karts ever! Also Mario kart DS. Oh I remember the shine runner collecting in battle mode. 😊🤗🥰
I wonder why her lucky charm did,t give her an umbrella 😂
Emotion you will ALWAYS be famous
I've would've ranked the S5 finale (Conformation & Re-creation) at #16, Also when is the S3 review coming?
I’m planning on making a few video essays before getting to Season 3. Maybe in February at the latest? 😊
That’s interesting. The Kwami’s Choice did seem a bit divisive, thanks for sharing. ☺️
Alex’s brother needs to stop using social media as Smarty pants would say.
I feel like Destruction could’ve come before Multiplication bc of how Ikari Dozen used a miraculous powers. Like if we seen destruction before multiplication it would make sense.
Also did Felix mention a Sister in emotion?

gabriel: "No."

Omg the second background Music just hit some hidden memory. I can’t really figure out from where it was tho please tell me 😭
Animal Crossing - Resetti’s Theme. 😊
@@ACriticalRetrospective thanks
@@shreksyq You’re welcome.
That’s a much better way of explaining their indefinite usage of their powers. Thanks so much for sharing with me. 😊
BTW which season you think is better? 4 or 5
I personally prefer Season 4.
46:06 Wait, no- IT CANT BEEEEE!?!?!?!?!? IS THAT…
CYNTHIA’S THEME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
Well, it’s actually Volo’s theme. But I suppose both themes are very similar. Well done for spotting it! 😁
@@ACriticalRetrospective Haha, yeah they are pretty similar. It still triggered my memories of fighting Cynthia’s Garchomp in Shining Pearl tho.
Episode 3: Special part 1
- Interpret it as you wish
Episode 4: Special part 2
Episode 5: Multiplication
Episode 6: Illusion
Episode 7: Determination
Episode 8: Reunion
Episode 9: Passion
Episode 10: Elation
Episode 11: Jubilation
Episode 12: Perfection
Episode 13: Migration - Everything is the same except for the ending.
Episode 16: Protection
Episode 17: Emotion
Episode 18: Pretension
Episode 19: Revelation-Confrontation combo - Lila does not come back
Episode 20: Adoration - Zoe confessing. Kind of slice of life episode
Episode 21: Representation - the prom thingy and Adrien going bye bye to London
Episode 22: Kagami backstory
Episode 23: The twins backstory
Episode 24: Felix and Adrien backstory
Episode 25-26: The finale.
That’s very intruiging. I like the idea of Luka being more relevant.
@@ACriticalRetrospective Well Luka is my favortie character so if I could I'd do him justice. I literally have an essay on my of why luka is interesting. Also thak you ☺
@@zuza3377 You’re welcome. ☺️
No, it’s okay. Don’t worry about it. ☺️
I'm interested in your oppinion; Derision taking place an an articulatedly different pool or wholly other setting, would have improve it?
Maybe slightly, but I don’t think that would solve the retcons with Chloé and Kim.
I tried to go back and watch some of season 5 again and I found myself only watching maybe at best a few episodes compared to other seasons even some of the earlier seasons like season 1
When it comes to season 5 I don't really want to re-watch it like I do the other seasons and again I think it's because of what happened with all the leaks it kind of ruined the excitement for the season but it also just feels like looking back at it you just look at episode 1 and you feel like you're the writer think
you're stupid I know this is a kids show but I think even a kid will point out that if they had just used the miraculous of the rabbit when cat noir had it or even when they went back in time and got a miraculous from Masters full in the past they could have still stopped
ladybug from becoming Penny bug and giving Felix the dog like the season truly could have been fixed right there and they could have still just had Alex
take the rabbit miraculous back in time or keep it out of their timeline so they defeat hawk moth like they had already decided at the end of the episode just to be sure that is the one miraculous he never gets
like this season just feels kind of like a waste of time because well they have time travel in this first episode of the season and it just makes it feel like a waste of time like I said they could
have fixed it and it's just frustrating because they could have used this season and maybe explorer Adrian more and instead of giving all of the cool traits that to Felix have they were Adrian becomes suspicious of his dad and looks into them and have it where
maybe Natalie dropped some hints
Or I don't know have it where Natalie steals one of the miraculous from him like I don't know the rooster miraculous and have it where Gabriel's time is completely stopped around him and he can't or I don't know how they where she uses the rooster miraculous to permanently nullify his power so he can't use any of them
I don't know if season 5 just feels the most frustrating because they're like several ways it could be fixed that are just right there in the writers just decided to have this full season that just kind of didn't make sense if you just look at it and it's kind of a bit upsetting 😅
