Your radiator may need to be swapped out. Once it turns that color its time to change it out. If you don't you may have issues with strawberry milkshake (the ATF mixing with coolant).
My Top 5 under $100 for 3rd Gen 4Runner: 1) 5th Gen 4Runner Mats: They fit very nice and you can usually get em on Marketplace for $50 2) Gentex-453 rear view mirror w/ compass, temp and Homelink 3 - $50 3) Honda Odyssey windshield spray nozzles: $50 4) Hood struts - $80 5) Remote oil filter kit - $50 Remote oil filter kit shoulda been on the top of my list. Hands down, my favorite so far. 1-the factory oil filter placement is annoying and messy AF. Now I have clean oil changes. 2- it allows you to install a sandwich plate so you can hookup oil temp and oil pressure gauges. If you're driving a 200,000mi + toyota and you're NOT monitoring oil pressure and temperature, you're asking for trouble.
LOVE THIS RIDE. I had a magnetic gray 2002 SR5 I stupidly sold in 2017, it was mint but not as nice as this one. I ended up getting a Golden Pearl 2002Limited but it doesn't look as good as the MGM. I'm curious about these recs to replace the radiator? Is that preventative?
@@Modlife_thats what i thought too… my radiator looked just like yours and eventually it gave out, and then youre gonna have a bigger problem.. ask me how i know.. your radiator probably was never replaced. I would replace it just to be safe .. you dont want the pink milkshake bro.
