This is such a beautiful reaction!
Here’s some more information about the song:
The song "Just Pretend" by Bad Omens is about heartbreak and longing for a lost love. It is a song of acceptance and resilience, with the narrator resolving to try their best to cope with the absence of the loved one and to "just pretend" that everything is okay. The chorus suggests that the narrator is willing to wait for years and never stop loving the other person, despite knowing they can't be together. The bridge reiterates the depth of their feelings as they plead to be "worthy" of the other person. This song is a powerful reminder that, in the face of rejection, it is possible to let go and keep your heart open.
I’m not sure if you guys noticed this, but there’s a music video for this song that explains the meaning of the song:
Both a woman and a young Noah (confirmed) are in a memory simulation, and they do not know each other until they simulate memories together lovingly. Old Noah is forced to wake up from the simulation due to the woman’s decline in health, and obviously he does not want to wake up from the simulation. Learning this, he goes to the woman’s room, where they are trying to save her, and unfortunately, she passes. Old Noah sees this and recognizes the bracelet he "gave her," and the memories begin to replay for him without him being in the simulation.
Now, I’m not sure if these Bad Omens songs are on your list or not, but here are some more Bad Omens songs that I think you two will enjoy.
    - Like A Villain
    - Never Know
    - Take Me First
I hope you like them. I can’t wait to watch your next reaction.

You could also argue that this is a song about the struggle to get close/understand his God. He wants to be a true believer, but he feels like he’s pretending and doesn’t feel worthy to be a follower. But he’s willing to stick through it to get closer to his God.
