I got the 65 inch u7g for Christmas and wow is it nice. I have to have it replaced because of a couple dead pixel patches and some white cloudy patches on the right side, but that's whatever, any tv can get issues, and it's easily replaced. The 120fps at 1080p is great on my pc although only some games will run at 120 cuz my pc is good but i built it for 60fps 1080p gaming. At 4k it doesn't do 120hz FYI, at least not for real, it does some interpolated 1440p or something but i don't care because i can't even get 4k 60fps so whatever. It does have Android built in which i like better than roku because it has so many apps for watching stuff that roku doesn't and i installed emulators and the Xbox One controller connects right to the tv. It's great.

All we have is TVs with mostly really underpowered chips (like come on! how is it normal for a 55 inch device to have less power than a midrange 5 inch one ?) and a UI that looks straight from the last decade with no real apps besides VOD services and it doesn't even come with a fricking web browser

This not just with Hisense, this could happen with any android TV regardless of the manufacturer. I have 2 Sony Android-TV, and while it was pleasant at first, it's risky, any software update could break your TV and make it totally useless, even if you connect a firetv 4k max, a roku device or a nvidia tv shield pro on it. Ex. In order to be able to use an android-tv with a tv-box device, the tv needs to be able to fully boot the built-in Android OS, otherwise you won't get any signal thru HDMI if Android TV OS has not fully loaded. You have been warned...Best experience for your 4K TV is to get a dedicated android tv box with a certified google play store or an amazon fre tv 4k max device.
