This series is for individuals who want to learn - or review - the basic economics of conservation. In this video, you will be introduced to the concept of a cost benefit analysis. You will learn the difference between decision making from the perspective of a private firm vs. a larger society and how this applies to environmental conservation.

This is AWESOME. I like your simplifying. it makes my perspective wider. By the way, can I ask you how you make these kind of videos with those simple but obvious pictures and animation effect? This is amazingly effective
We're happy to hear you enjoyed the videos and they were helpful in explaining the concept. Jesse Agar (the animator) mostly use Adobe Photoshop to draw the images then animate them together in Adobe After Effects. Then he does sound and editing in Adobe Premiere.

Thanks for the info regarding the CBA. by the way, anyone knows about the calculation of benefit ? is it outcomes from CBA calculation (cost) will give the benefit answers? Is it answers from the CBA(cost) is a benefit? or cost and benefit is different calculation in CBA?
