    Beautiful farm mother!
In Trinidad 🇹🇹 we do use both leaves and root regularly. We too call the root dasheen, and also refer to the variety of dasheen that gets a blue hue as "blue food".
    Keep up your wonderful work!❤❤❤

The correct name from Jamaica 🇯🇲 is sorrel and will always be sorrel I don't care what it is labeled in the store It was never called hibiscus in my Country Jamaica, unless you are from deep in the country parts and didn't know the difference between hibiscus the shoe block flower and the sorrel plant, you probably thought it was one of the same.

Definitely no Jamaican call sorrel hibiscus. She cannot be Jamaican. Also we call callaloo the right name not adamant. Plus the American name is amaranth no n in it. She have a nice farm but knows very little about things. I raise worms for my plants and nothing smells bad. They smell like rain and you don’t need to put them in a house, just right outside in a covered containe.
