MG Gloster Summary
Latest Update: MG Gloster Desertstorm and Snowstorm editions have been launched at Rs 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom). We have detailed both the Gloster Snowstorm edition and Desertstorm edition in real-life images.
Price: The MG Gloster is priced between Rs 38.80 lakh to Rs 43.87 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
Variants: It is available in two variants: Sharp and Savvy, and three special editions: Blackstorm, Snowstorm, and Desertstorm.
Colour Options: It comes in four monotone shades: Warm White, Metal Ash, Metal Black, and Deep Golden. Furthermore, the Blackstorm is painted in Metal Black and Metal Ash, the Snowstorm is in a dual-tone Pearl White and Black, and the Desertstorm is in a Deep Golden hue.
Seating Capacity: The Gloster is available in 6- and 7-seater configurations.
Engine and Transmission: The MG Gloster is available in two diesel engine options:
A 2-litre diesel turbo (161 PS/373.5 Nm) with 2WD and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
A 2-litre diesel twin-turbo (215.5 PS/478.5 Nm) with 4WD and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
It features seven drive modes: Snow, Mud, Sand, Eco, Sport, Auto, and Rock.
Features: Key features include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, an 8-inch fully digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-way adjustable driver seat, wireless phone charging, a hands-free tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, and 3-zone automatic AC.
Safety: Safety features include six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability program (ESP), ISOFIX child seat anchors, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including lane change assist, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
Rivals: The MG Gloster rivals the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and the Skoda Kodiaq.
